r/BuyItForLife · What's the best no-frills coffee maker? OXO is the way to go then, my friend. I have a Moccamaster, but it really only shines with "good" coffee. The times I brewed whatever bag of starbucks/dunkin nonsense I grabbed in a pinch, you couldn't tell that I had an expensive brewer. Moccamaster does look super nice on the counter though, so if you're thinking of early Christmas, it'll be an impressive gift

r/BuyItForLife · What's the best no-frills coffee maker? I’ve had both the oxo and the moccamaster and would lean towards the moccamaster. It’s literally add water, add beans, and flip the switch. The cleaning is a little easier on MM and it’s got good support for replacement parts if you ever need them. I had a minor issue and they shipped me a new part next day. You can’t go wrong with the oxo either, but I prefer the MM.
