Why not Mova P10 Pro Ultra for $399? I saw it was highly ranked on vacuumwars, I was actually thinking of getting it. P.S. I don't have carpets / pets, so it seemed like navigation & obstacle avoidance were better in Mova.

    r/RobotVacuums · Dreame L40 Ultra - quick review →2025-07-15

My wife and I were gifted a Roomba for our wedding almost 20 years ago. About 5-6 years ago, we threw it away because it had outlived its usefulness. At that time our impression was that robot vacuums just weren’t worth it, and we were happy with our stick vac. My wife recently decided she wanted to get one for our house we bought a year ago because it’s a lot more work than an apartment obviously. Imagine our shock at the progress in the industry when we started looking at the options after that much time! I was vaguely aware of some new features like emptying into the base station, actually mapping your home instead of randomly bumping into things, mopping, etc, but wow! We just bought two Mova P10 Pro Ultras (one for each floor) that are extremely similar to the Dreame L40 on Prime deals for $450 each. We got the first yesterday and I am amazed at the job it did. Our first floor is mostly hard floor and the floors look outstanding. I think we are going to love these!

It has extendable mop, totally worth it. On that alone. Lot of other good stuff on it.

    r/RobotVacuums · Best Robot Vacuum/Mop for under $500 Comparison →2025-12-01

Great post. I had most of the same criteria. For what it’s worth, I ultimately decided to go with the MOVA p10 pro ultra. Factors that tipped me into making that decision: 1) 3 year warranty (plus I opted for additional 3 years in the order on Amazon; 6 years total gives me more courage to try Mova as a “new” brand, that plus it looks to be the same manufacturing as Dreame ( a well reviewed brand) 2) higher pa (I realize airflow is a more important metric) 3) strong reviews on vacuum wars and Just a Dad. (rTings.com was not as enthusiastic, but decent) I plan to really put it through the paces for the next 2 months, taking advantage of Amazon’s extended holiday return window. Good luck with your final decision. I have had Roborocks and think you will be pleased if you stay with the Qrevo Pro

Good to know about the T80 as well. I really want to like roller mops but even the Z50 seems to be having issues with the mop roller tearing and problems docking. I own a Mova P10 Pro Ultra that now lives at my parents house and if it wasn't for a few little features I like/need for my floorplan, I'd probably have just kept it as daily robot.

    r/RobotVacuums · Mova P10 Pro Ultra vs Dreame L40 Ultra →2025-07-08

Last time I checked, the L40 Ultra is sold at $440 with a tricut brush at physical dreame stores that will ship in the US mainland for free. This also means you have a store you can call for service. [A]m I better off paying the extra $50 to get the larger Brand with a better product reputation (I know they have poor customer service) It seems they're improving it in the US. I've noticed people praising MOVA's customer service for its quick replies, and one user praised how fast it was sending out a return label when their P10 Pro Ultra had a fault. I think Dreame and MOVA share the same customer service teams.

A Mova P10 Pro Ultra for all intents and purposes is a Dreame X40/L40 flagship model vacuum at $500 right now. You can’t beat it. Can take a look at my post history for choices I narrowed down basically I felt like all the features I want in a vacuum should be included sub $600. QRevo Pro Ecovacs N30 Pro Omni Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Adding: Mova P10 Pro Ultra On paper there isn’t another vacuum on the market with the advanced features of the Mova at the price. The navigation and object avoidance alone should put it in another class. It has swinging arm swinging mop and a camera… if privacy becomes a concern for me valetudo is supported. Currently I have the N30 Pro Omni I picked up for $550 and it does a nice job cleaning however it keeps getting disconnected from my app and I have to reconnect it this wasn’t happening with the Shark Never Touch Pro although the sharks mopping performance wasn’t half as good for $200 more. If the Ecovac was more stable I’d have probably never looked into exchanging it but glad I found the Mova considering the feature set it has. I’m going to report back once it arrives to see if it lives up to the hype.

If you want a non-Roborock option, the MOVA P10 Pro Ultra is a great pick. It’s around $299–$399 and offers strong vacuuming, solid mopping, and a self-emptying setup. fwiw my mate and i compared a bunch of non-Roborock options on Redditrecs and this one kept coming up as the best value alternative, worth checking out, just note some links are affiliate and help fund the analysis

Our neighbor has that shark and it’s trash. Can never find its homebase and doesn’t do jack for cleaning. And I am a a huge shark/ninja fan. We have a 22 week old frenchie and got the Mova P10 Pro Ultra and have really liked it.

r/RobotVacuums · The MOVA V50 Pro Ultra — Vacuum Wars' New #1 Robot Vacuum →2025-08-07

I have both the p10pu and the v50. If you compare the two bots on a strictly cost to performance basis, then I don’t think you can beat the P10pu. The exceptions would be if you really valued something only the v50 could do like lowering lidar, climbing thresholds, etc. In other words, the v50 costs 100% more but only mops/vacuums 30 to 40% better, if that. So, diminishing returns. With that being said, the only thing I don’t like about the v50 is the battery drain but I just schedule around it.

    r/RobotVacuums · I have a eufy x10 pro omni and I absolutely hate it, AMA →2025-03-09

I was looking closely into the eufy and had a friend test it out 8 or so months ago. The MOVA P10 Pro Ultra and the similar Dreame L40 Ultra are very quiet. I’m really glad I got MOVA because it’s super quiet with it’s 5 suction levels. The first 3 levels are quiet and the first 2 enough I feel comfortable using them overnight in an apartment on the ground floor. My goodness my Roomba J7+ was so dang loud. I thought the eufy x10 pro Omni would be louder and I’ve seen to many mention it having trouble picking up debris on hard floor. I’ve seen mentions of the eufy x10 pro Omni and the eufy s1 pro having issues getting close to the edges of rooms and erratic pathing. That’s better than the Roomba’s that just beat up your baseboards. I really do like eufy I bet their next robots will be great.

    r/Roborock · Saros 10R 24 Hour Review →2025-02-15

I completely agree that the new robots are not perfect. They cannot replace a stick vacuum. My 7 year-old Dyson V8 still does a far better job in one quick pass than my Dreame L40 on criss-cross deep clean with tricut brush. My first Dreame L40 was a dud, but Dreame replaced it in one week after they saw my review on Amazon. Hopefully it keeps running! It does pick up about 85% of my corgi’s fur on medium pile carpet. The Mova P10 Pro Ultra I have seems about the same. The $900 Dreame L40 and $700 Mova P10 Pro Ultra are much better than my S7 MaxV Ultra, but still not a replacement for the old Dyson V8. And I think these “20,000+ pascal” suction numbers are just vaporware marketing. I don’t think these flagship bots (Dreame X50, Roborock Saros, etc) are worth $1200 - $1600. The step down models are the much better value.
