Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat

r/Dreame_Tech · Dreame L10s pro ultra heat # TL;DR – Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat Review Summary * ✅ **Highly recommended** by most owners — great cleaning, solid mop washing/drying. * 🔥 **Heated mop wash** = cleaner pads, not hot mopping floors. * 🧼 Needs light maintenance (rinse tray, wash pads occasionally). * 🧹 **Tricut brush** upgrade helps a lot for hair and rugs. * ⚠️ Avoid CleanGenius mode on mixed floors; use custom room settings instead. * 🚪 Handles 2–3 cm thresholds well — struggles above 4.5 cm. * 🛒 AliExpress parts are cheap and effective for upkeep. Best for mixed floors, pet owners, and users who want low-effort deep cleans.

r/Dreame_Tech · Dreame L10s pro ultra heat Yes it's genuine, just find a highly rated seller on there instead of paying a premium on their website. Yes it works well on the hard floor too, there's a few rubber fins on it as well. I have a 50/50 mix and it works pretty well on both surfaces.
r/Dreame_Tech · Dreame L10s pro ultra heat I believe the heat also gets a bit more suction power and the auto detect reclean and mop recleaning, these are only available with the clean genius which I hardly ever use though because you get a lot more customization with a custom cleaning. I would recommend it though depending on the price. I paid $500 USD, I would not pay the full retail price for it though. If it weren't heavily discounted I would go for a newer model that has a light and more suction. I haven't really had an issue with mine though. It pretty reliably avoids cables, not that I have any laying around but it goes near an outlet where cords are dangling on the ground and it sees those and doesn't go near. It also avoids getting too close to the shoe mat by the front door so it doesn't get caught in any loose shoelaces. If you have any carpeting though, go on AliExpress and buy yourself the tricut brush roll. The default rubber brush sucks for anything but hard flooring, and it gets tangled with hair very quickly. Im talking one cleaning cycle and it had big hairballs around the axle. The tricut brush doesn't have this issue, I can let it go weeks and I get a small wad of hair around the axle but it's never interfered with it I just clean the brush when I do the regular maintenance so I'm not sure how long I could let it go. If you're planning on running it at night I would get a smart light or something similar, it makes a big difference on cleaning speed and efficiency and avoiding obstacles. It will be able to clean without it just not as fast or as well. If you have any more questions I can try to answer them :)

r/Dreame_Tech · Dreame L10s pro ultra heat I have the L10s Pro Ultra Heat too. Pro tip for you: go to AliExpress and buy the self-cleaning base. It 100% works for the L10s too and will cut down on having to clean the base.
r/Dreame_Tech · Dreame L10s pro ultra heat Did you know that you can buy the self-cleaning base from AliExpress for like 15 bucks and cut your cleaning to once a month?

r/Dreame_Tech · Dreame L10s pro ultra heat I bought this model months ago and am very satisfied with it. It has exceeded my expectations. I run it every day and my home is approx 2000sq ft. I did buy replacement parts from a company that many recommended, and I won't do that again except maybe the side brush and possibly mop pads. I noticed dust in the compartment with generic bags, and I had to clean the filter behind the bag after a few days. This doesn't happen with Dreame bags. The generic mop heads are more absorbent, so I had to decrease the wetness setting a lot. I would recommend using filtered water or distilled water if you have hard water. This model works very well, and the hot water to clean mop heads works great. I recommended prior to using the robot for the first time that you vacuum and wash your floors. I started with clean floors, and my robot maintained them. I was thinking of buying a second one for my second floor, and I was looking at everything from Dreame from the L40 to the newest model. I am still seeing people having a lot of the same problems, so I am going to wait until they fix the bugs or possibly buy another L10S Pro Ultra Heat. You can have different maps for different floors the only thing is you have to manually carry your robot up & down the stairs for auto empty and mop washing. I have 2 floors, so it's not thar big of a problem. Also, remember to save maps and back them up. You also must have wifi 2.4GHZ it doesn't work on 5GHZ. Most modems have both

r/RobotVacuums · Black Friday Week Tips/Recommendations from a Robot Tester. The S8 MaxV Ultra is the best for pet hair on carpet and does a good job on hard floor, and you can find it at Best Buy. For something a little cheaper, the Qrevo Slim is also a good option. If you have a smaller budget, the L10s Pro Ultra with the Tri-Cut should do a decent job as well. Hope this helps!
r/RobotVacuums · Black Friday Week Tips/Recommendations from a Robot Tester. My pleasure, glad I could help! :) For the follow-ups: * It has an all rubber brush roller, some minor changes to suction power, and different wall sensors. I can't really comment on its performance because it has a different brush roller, but generally single rubber brush rollers do worse on carpet. * Personally, it's the one I recommend to friends and family because it's the best value and price for what you get, and it's a good beginner vacuum. It lacks some of the bells and whistles of the P10 Pro Ultra like the extending side brush, but it's solid for the price. Plus, the free tri-cut brush makes it better for carpets if you end up adding some. * Honestly, unsure haha, but if it does bump into your cat it shouldn't be too hard or hurt your cat. Robots use a bumper and wall sensors to figure out edges and furniture legs, so if anything, the bumper should trigger and make the robot pull away from your cat. I've heard from friends that either their cat will ignore the vacuum, be scared of it and keep away, or attack it like prey. 😂 The main issue would be the robot getting interrupted by a sock or cable getting caught in it. Best thing to do is set no-go zones and tidy up beforehand.
r/RobotVacuums · Black Friday Week Tips/Recommendations from a Robot Tester. The L10s pro ultra with the tri-cut brush should probably be more than enough for your situation and it's half the price!
r/RobotVacuums · Black Friday Week Tips/Recommendations from a Robot Tester. Robots with dual rollers generally tend to do better on carpet. Mova has a dual roller that I haven't tested but looks like it has similar brush rollers to the S8 Pro Ultra. The model is the S20 Ultra and it's currently $359 on Amazon. Since I haven't tested it, I can't confirm it'll be good, so just make sure you can return it. If not, the L10s pro ultra with tri-cut brush should help with the carpet pickup.
r/RobotVacuums · Black Friday Week Tips/Recommendations from a Robot Tester. That's awesome! Our display team is doing an [AMA](https://www.reddit.com/r/4kTV/comments/1p830j3/were_the_rtingscom_tv_team_weve_bought_and_tested/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) if you've ever had any questions for them! The L10s pro ultra with the tri-cut brush is a great value for a lower budget. It's good on hard floor pickup (7.5/10) and decent at moping (7/10). You normally wouldn't have to move the dock, just run a mop wash cycle and bring the robot to the bedrooms. The robot supports multi-level mapping, so you can create a specific map for your bedrooms. Since its battery life is not the best, if you have a large home, you might have to leverage the recharge and resume feature. It also has good obstacle avoidance (8.2/10), but it's not flawless either, so be careful of any pet accidents. For dirt, you'll likely have to make sure the mop pads are washed more frequently, which means you'll have to change the water in the tanks and clean the mop tray often. To mitigate this, though, you can do a vacuum only cycle first, followed by a mop only. Hope this helps!
r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations from a Robot Tester A bin là! We're also in Montréal! So far the best robot we've tested for mopping is the Ecovacs X8 Pro Omni. It's good at hardfloor pick up too. It's obstacle avoidance is very mid, and it struggles with cables, but if you set no-go zones you should be fine. [Costco has it](https://www.costco.ca/ecovacs-x8-pro-omni-care-robot-vacuum-and-instant-self-washing-roller-mop-bundle.product.4000350883.html)\* for 999.99$ on sale, and Costco has a great return policy too. Most of the sales have ended now, so I'd also say the P10 pro ultra or the L10s Pro Ultra I mention above, but those are back at regular price, so I'd hold out for a sale. \*Not an affiliate link.

r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations by Price Band - These are the robots I'd buy Hey Amanda, what is your experience with the Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat? There is currently a deal with an internet provider where I can get that as an entry gift if I get the more expensive subscription. The subscription would cost about 500 euro extra from the low data speed one. So I was wondering if it was worth about that money and what your experience is with this model:)

r/Dreame_Tech · Dreame L10s pro ultra heat Auto empty works at end of cycle so you dont have to touch the bin + filter. But if you are going to swap filter you might as well also empty the bin manually.
r/Dreame_Tech · Dreame L10s pro ultra heat Its a good buy. Hot wash is useful for dislodging dirt from mop after every room, so i think its important. Buy extra mop pads and filters, then you can just swap them out after every cycle. Then throw the old one in the laundry which would clean it like new compared to the robot mop washing. This will also eliminate long hot air dry cycles. If you empty the bin and swap the filter then auto empty also becomes redundant.

r/Dreame_Tech · Dreame L10s pro ultra heat I buy everything on AliExpress. I got some extra mop pads that are fluffier than the original ones, and I also replaced the brush - I got this set: https://a.aliexpress.com/_EQ4U0iK[https://a.aliexpress.com/_EQ4U0iK](https://a.aliexpress.com/_EQ4U0iK) The mop pads in this set won't stick properly and fall off, all the other parts are perfect. And here are the fluffy mop pads: https://a.aliexpress.com/_EJ5Q5Wm[https://a.aliexpress.com/_EJ5Q5Wm](https://a.aliexpress.com/_EJ5Q5Wm) Having so many spare mop pads I toss the used ones in the loundry every two weeks or so. But I wouldn't say it's necessary. I have to refill the water and empty the water tank once a week, maybe slightly more often. I rinse the used water tank with hot water and give it a thorough scrub maybe once every two months. The only annoying thing is the mop tray - you can remove one part of it and give it a proper scrub but you'll need to crawl on the floor with a bowl of water and a sponge to clean up what's underneath that removable tray. I will be trying out the self-cleaning one mentioned in this thread, just ordered it for 10€ on Ali. It's up to you how often you do it. The good thing is that the mop drying function also dries the tray so there is no mold or bad smell whatsoever. You can set the drying duration for 2, 3 or 4hrs. I've set it to 2hrs and it's always perfectly dry It tells you when to clean the sensors - just wipe them with a soft cloth. I haven't replaced the air filter even once yet (I vacuum it with a Dyson on both sides every now and then). And that's it.
r/Dreame_Tech · Dreame L10s pro ultra heat One of the obstacles is simply a higher floor level in the bathroom - someone had the brilliant idea of laying tiles on top of the existing ones, so the bathroom floor ended up being 3–4 cm higher than the hallway. The second obstacle is a door frame, which is 4.5 cm high. Height differences (or obstacles) up to 2 cm aren't a problem, especially if you set a virtual threshold on the map. In that case, the robot approaches with a bit more speed and easily gets over it. I don’t have any high-pile carpets, so I can’t say if those would be an issue. With my carpets, it’s not a problem at all - even one that’s an antique silk rug. Even on the highest water setting, the amount of moisture is minimal. It's definitely not ideal, but since it doesn’t happen often, I don’t really mind. Apparently, setting a no-mop zone resolves the issue - though I haven’t tested this myself, as the base is on a carpet and I've read that the robot struggles to return if the no-mop zone is right in front of the station. As for how wet the floor gets — that depends on the app setting. You can choose a mop moisture level between 1 and 30. I run mine at 25, and both tile and wood floors are dry again within two minutes. The carpet doesn't even feel damp.

r/Dreame_Tech · Dreame L10s pro ultra heat I've had one since June 24 and I'm super happy with it. The heating function is for washing the mops in the base, and they come out very clean and smelling fresh after each wash cycle. The floors end up spotless, although it won’t remove dried-on stains in the kitchen - but that’s not something you'd expect from a robot vacuum anyway. It really sucks up everything in its path. We also use it on the porch, and it even picks up the occasional dry leaf - the rotating brush grinds it into small pieces. Today, I found an entire blister pack of tablets stuck underneath the brush - that’s how large some objects are that it tries to take in. Of course, I had to remove it manually because it couldn’t be fully suctioned. One thing I love is that I can create Alexa routines with it. That’s not specific to this model or to Dreame in general. The L10 always uses the last cleaning settings, in my case, I’ve set up a routine that includes starting the vacuum. Now I just have to say “Alexa, I’m gone” when I leave the house and it automatically starts cleaning (plus lights get turned off, alarm armed and so on...) I’m considering getting the X50 now solely because of the step-climbing feature - I have two thresholds that are too high for the L10. Otherwise, I’m extremely happy with it.
