r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations from a Robot Tester J’ai pas de trouble à laver la moppe avant de commencer mais c’est compliqué avec le eufy, faut que tu sélectionnes le bon mode et que tu l’enlève de la base jsute au bon moment sinon il va révider l’eau du robot dans la base.
r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations from a Robot Tester Merci beaucoup pour ton conseil.

r/RobotVacuums · Help me choose: Eufy E25, Mova P20 Ultra, or Uwant U300? Based on your needs, I recommend the Eufy E25. Despite the concerns about fake reviews, the Eufy E25's HydroJet mopping system and self-cleaning mop are significant advantages. The HydroJet feature allows the robot to spray water and mop simultaneously, ensuring more effective and thorough cleaning, especially for hard floors. The self-cleaning mop reduces maintenance and keeps the device working efficiently over time. In my experience in North Europe, Eufy tends to have solid build quality and good customer support, making it a reliable choice. The extra convenience of edge cleaning with HydroJet and self-maintenance could save you time and effort, making it worth the investment despite the marketing hype surrounding it. Regarding spinning pads versus roller mops, generally, roller mops tend to be more effective at uniform, deep cleaning, but the HydroJet system compensates by adding water spray during the mopping process, which can improve overall results.

r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 I took the e28 (amazon offered 12%) for the refillable cleaner solution and the standalone machine. We have a lot of pets and accidents every day. I got it 2 days ago. But overall it seems to match your experience with the e25 that is lower in price.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 In this video: https://youtu.be/1oYKmXZytdM?si=Blzxehw04OxRpjqJ At about 40 sec, it shows the reservoir for the cleaning solution. If you watch the e25, you'll see that there is no reservoir, only a place for a specific bottle.

r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 It has way better vacuum performance. It cleans carpets really well and that swiveling side brush enables it to clean in corners the x10 could never reach.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 I think that’s the way to go. When my bottle is empty I will attempt that and post it here.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 It does a pretty good job with the occasional mishap. There is some cables under my bed that it avoided on 15 cleaning runs now, but dragged it around one time. So it mostly works but has a hiccup sometimes. I expect that tho and don’t leave everything laying around on the floor. I tested it with dog toys, cords and shoes and it avoided everything just fine. There is just that occasional hiccup after a couple of runs.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 Right, the roller mop is fixed in place. It leaves a 2cm gap to the wall that it can’t reach. It isn’t ideal, but not a deal breaker. Light debris gets swept out by the extending brush. Despite that shortcoming I would say that the roller is much more efficient and thorough than rotating mop pads.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 1. Yes, it detects rugs automatically and avoids mopping them. You don’t have to manually map them out. 2. Yes, it vacuums and mops at the same time. Unlike some other bots, it climbs rugs without dragging or folding them. Mop pressure is decent, and it’s quiet. Should be a good fit for what you’re describing. If your carpets are particularly small or easy to fold, there is no robot vacuum on the market that doesn’t struggle with that. All light bathmats will eventually get dragged around.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 Yes, the e25 uses the cartridge when its installed and doesn’t care if its not. It is incapable of telling if it is empty or if it dispensed some of it as far as i am aware.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 Yeah i think thats a bad choice on eufys side, but you can drill it on top or fill the cleaner directly into the water.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 Thanks for adding your perspective. I am a Little confused by the detergent situation as eufy implemented a refillable bottle in the e28, but didn’t on the e25. You could always drill the bottle on top and put in your own or eufys solution. At least that’s what i am going to do. I am glad they improved their customer service. Can I ask you what region you are from?
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 Yes I think the brush guard is more durable and it is way better at picking up small debris. I have a small dog that sometimes leaves behind little bits and pieces of his dog food an treats on the floor. It picks everything up without an issue.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 Yes exactly, however it is not very precise around carpets. It will mop every spot eventually, but more over the course of three cleaning days rather than once. It’s not like there are visible dirty sports, but it retracts the mop when it senses carpet. It’s not a dealbreaker however and it will mop every spot once in a while.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 I think you’ve made the right choice. I don’t feel like the Portable wet cleaner of the E28 adds much value overall. Bissl cleaners are relatively cheap and I don’t think it’s worth the tradeoff for a much louder station and bigger footprint. The E25 has the cleaning solution cartridge that needs to be replaced instead of being refillable, but you can easily put a cap of your favourite solution directly into the clean water tank, if you don’t want to use the cartridges, so I don’t think it’s a major flaw. I hope you will enjoy your E25!
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 I also prefer roller mops over spinning pads, so I totally get where you’re coming from. The roller mop on the E25 is basically the same concept you liked from the old Scooba or Shinebot but with way more pressure and constant dirty water extraction. It doesn’t smear and it really does suck up the dirty water in real time, so the floor stays clean after each pass. The base does a solid job washing and drying the roller. It uses warm air to dry it, and after a full cycle, the roller comes out completely dry and doesn’t smell, even after daily use. Compared to the X10’s spinning mop heads, I’d say the E25’s roller leaves the floor noticeably cleaner because of that constant suction and higher pressure. The spinning mops on the X10 work well too, but they do inevitably smear a bit before they get rinsed in the station. For your case (all tile, no rugs) the E25 is honestly perfect. The suction is strong enough for debris, and the roller mop does a great job with sticky stuff. If you’re already leaning toward a roller design, this one feels like the best option right now, especially at the current discounted price.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 It’s supposed to be 21mm, but it jumped a 25mm threshold at my balcony. It isn’t recommended for more than 21mm tho.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 The c20 is honestly not comparable to the others. Either get the E25 or E28 and be aware that the E28 is a first gen product in regards to the portable cleaner. The E25 has the quieter station.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 No, let it mop the room. It should go under your furniture if it really can. If the gap between the lidar and your furniture is too small, it will refuse to go under it.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 There is the new ecovacs Deebot X8, but it lacks in other regards, does however mop closer to the edge. Rotating mops aren’t washed continuously, but work as a daily cleaning tool. With a mop roller you can expect the vacuum to clean a lot deeper and faster, because the roller is much more efficient. If you can live with a slight edge that doesn’t get mopped every day, the e25 is a great robot.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 It leaves a 2cm gap to every edge. So you need to consider that. I threw two copper coins in the dirty water tank. There is little to no smell on my unit.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 You could try increasing the wetness of the mop in the app and see if the streaking still occurs. However it is normal that especially at the beginning of the cleaning cycle the mop is not perfectly wet on its entirety. Sometimes that can cause streaking. I don’t really see excess water being put down. The issue seems to be that the mop is too dry in certain spots.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 You could easily do that. I drilled a hole so that air could get in.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 Yes this will be no issue for the E25. My floor tiles have even more structure and it is great.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 It is a rotating mop with constant water cleaning and a rotating brush. It should get into nooks and crannies without issues.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 I am pretty passionate about 3d printing but there is some hurdles in the way. Getting a 3D print really water tight can be challenging and then there is the proprietary nozzle at the dispensing canister. I would personally suggest just taking the included one and cutting a hole in the top.

r/RobotVacuums · Thoughts on the Eufy E25? Depends what your expectations are really. Navigation has been alright for me. The square shape I think causes it to maneuver a little more strangely than round robots but I've had minimal issues with coverage or it getting stuck. I think it's vacuum performance is fine overall. Not the best on carpets but acceptable. The extending side brush is nice for sweeping out corners. Mopping is decent and better than my previous spinning pad robot. But it's not capable of cleaning up the huge sticky wet messes as shown in advertising. And like any robot, it's limited. You still have to mop yourself now and then. And it might not get dried on spots first try. The mop doesnt extend but gets close enough to edges for me personally. The roller mop system requires substantially more maintainence than spinning pad machines, you have an on-board dirty water tank, the roller mop housing and scraper in addition to the base station tray and tanks which all need regular cleaning. It's a trade off. I don't think it's a premium robot for an accessible price. I think it's a midrange robot for a midrange price.
r/RobotVacuums · Thoughts on the Eufy E25? 100% agree. The e25 hits a sweet spot and I haven't felt the need to spend any more for a higher end machine, diminishing returns indeed. Even the upcoming S2 has minimal appeal for me yet it costs double what the e25 did. Only the multicyclonic dustbin would be nice, because the filter on my e25 does clog itself up really quickly. Forgot to mention that.

r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 I highly rate my E25! The only issue I have is the cleaning solution, like you said. The store doesn't have any to purchase, either (UK based, so I'm unsure elsewhere) Also to note, check your email! I received an email to ask me to review and then got 3 dust bags for a total of £1 - no delivery fee! I've had it a few weeks now and flipped it over last night to do a one over for maintenance. A nice add-on in the app showing how to do everything correctly. I was surprised at how much the dust filter needed a clean and how much of my hair got caught around the side brushes.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 To be honest, it doesn't use a lot of solution. It mops regularly (everyday/ every other day), and there is plenty left! We've had it roughly a month or so? Mine does a step from the conservatory (probably about 2 inches, no lie!) to the dining room (or vice versa) and then one from the dining room to the hallway carpet. That's roughly a 2cm lip up and down. Don't get me wrong, it struggles with the step from the conservatory/ dining room, but it hasn't got stuck yet (touch wood). The dining room to the hallway step hasn't been an issue. It's thick pile in the hallway, too, and does a thorough job.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 I presume so? It'll probably just run using water and not auto add any solution. I'd definitely put some in the clean water reservoir, but knowing my luck, something would go wrong, and I'd void my warranty.

r/RobotVacuums · New 7 day trial Hopefully this robot will be better for you! Do note that the QX Revo Arc won’t do as well as the T90 Pro Omni or the Eufy E25 as it has no RGB camera as it only uses LDS (structured light) sensors for obstacle avoidance so I’d tidy up any cables.
r/RobotVacuums · Help me choose: Eufy E25, Mova P20 Ultra, or Uwant U300? If you get the Eufy E25, please make sure the robot’s internal dirty water tank is the updated one to prevent dirty water from dripping. You’d need to contact eufy customer support. I don’t know how well the eufy e25 roller mop dries in humid climates like Malaysia (much more humid than Texas and Florida) and it’s possible it doesn’t dry well because the hot air can’t reach all of the mop at once. If you’re more concerned about hygiene and edge cleaning, go for the MOVA P20 Ultra as it has electrolyzed water and good edge and corner cleaning. Spinning mops will be much easier to dry in humid climates. Barely any reviews on this though….
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy E25 vs Dreame L40s Ultra vs Mova Z60 Ultra I own the Z60 ultra roller. MOVA sent me their Z60 Ultra roller complete and the V50 ultra complete as part of their Reddit collaboration program in exchange for writing a review of them. I can tell you there is a noticeable difference walking barefoot on my tile and hardwood floors after it has mopped. I was honestly expecting some features they advertised to be mere fluff and puffery but I’ve tested these and it actually made a difference. Unfortunately the review is delayed. You can read why here: https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/s/NbOqPXguch The eufy e25 looks like a really good alternative though, especially at 500. Just ask eufy for the updated onboard dirty water tank so it won’t leak any dirty water!
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy E25 quick review The e25 leaving that much water is a concern. It may be defective.

r/RobotVacuums · Track Mops vs Roller Mops vs Spinning Pads: Are the New ‘Real-Time Cleaning’ Robots Worth It? *"Contact area: the more surface area of the mop touching the floor, the better the clean."* \- this is not true. Roller mops are the best because they have the least contact area. So all downward force is applied to the tiny patch of the floor, i.e. pressure per square cm of the floor is highest. With spinning pads or track pads you will have much less pressure. So they will not scrub floor as good. And I think as most robot weigh more or less the same, there is a limit on how much force can robot apply to the pad/roller/track. So you cannot outperform roller by pushing harder on track or spinning pad. *"Real-time rollers/tracks chew through a lot of water. Without plumbing, you’ll be refilling tanks basically daily, or every other day at best. Expect water usage far higher than spinning pad systems."* \- this not true. I have Eufy E25 and one tank lasts 12 days for me. It literally sips water.

r/RobotVacuums · Help me choose: Eufy E25, Mova P20 Ultra, or Uwant U300? Another factor, I have the e25, and the robot can be a mess to clean. The roller scrubber is a pain in the ass to clean, and the dirty water tank have a lot of inclusion, making it never fully clean. Ok it's a dirty water tank, but I like my objects clean after a cleaning session. Overall I'm satisfied with the e25.

r/RobotVacuums · Impressed with Deebot T80 Omni and comparison to Eufy E25 I've had really great success with my e25 when it comes to obstacle detection/avoidance and not needing to intervene or come home and find it stuck somewhere. It did the mapping on the first try and split my rooms up accurately. I did notice that it shoved a kitchen chair across the room once, which I thought was strange because of the bump sensor and lidar were otherwise so good at detecting things. And usually it navigates the kitchen table/chairs without touching the legs. So maybe there's a bug with their software that gives a blindspot for things like chair legs sometimes since you mentioned the bar stools were a problem. Also I've never had issues with cat hair or my wife's curly hair getting caught in the rollers. After a month with it there were absolutely no tangles at all. Not to say that the T80 isn't a better robot, it probably is. I've just been really happy with the e25 and haven't experienced some of the things you were mentioning. It definitely does leave behind more water though. It's clean water and dries without streaking, but when I'm home when it's cleaning I do try to avoid walking in the rooms it's actively mopping or have just mopped.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy e25 ~1 month review The navigation and obstacle avoidance impresses me the most. The Roomba seems soooo dated in comparison. It does my whole 1st floor in about 90 minutes, while my Roomba cleans upstairs in about 4 hours.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy e25 ~1 month review No, I've heard some have had that issue but I've never experienced it. It sounds like Eufy knows of the issue and will send out replacement parts for those who report their issues but I don't know for certain ofc. I hope they have a fix for it soon because that's a huge pain in the ass I bet
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy E25 quick review So, despite leaving quite a bit of water behind on my floors (despite the water usage level I have it set to), the dirty water tank fills up pretty quickly, and it is filthy every time. I run it 4 times a week and we don't have kids, rarely wear shoes in the house, and just have 2 cats. So that leads me to believe that the mop *does* work well. Next time it runs when I'm home I'll grab a paper towel and wipe behind it and see if the paper towel is just damp, or if it's brown/dirty looking. There IS a design flaw with the on-board dirty water tank and Eufy is aware of it. Mine doesn't seem to be effected, but people comment on dirty water drops left behind it as it mops. Maybe this is happening to you?
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy e25 ~1 month review I paid $699 and I’ve seen it discounted to that price since it’s been released if you check a few different sites, either direct from Eufy or Amazon.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy e25 ~1 month review Yeah it really doesn’t crash in too many things. It’s not the most graceful in the corners I’ve found
r/RobotVacuums · Replacing my Roomba j7+ - Eufy E25 I have it and I love it. It's just a pain free experience all around. Never gets tangled or stuck, cleans well, cleans quickly, cleans quietly.

r/RobotVacuums · Impressed with Deebot T80 Omni and comparison to Eufy E25 I also mostly agree with your findings and wrote about it separately just few days ago. I had an E25 and it does a number of things well, it cleaned fast and covered larger area without running out of battery, I didn’t have navigational issue with it either. What I find most annoying is that it did not collect dirty water from the roller mop effectively and most of it was left on the floor to evaporate. The E25 has two plastic scrapers that are part of the onboard dirty water tank structure, they are fixed in place scrapping against the roller. On the Ecovacs X9, the scraper is a stainless steel metal piece mounted on spring pushing it against the roller. This is pretty significant design difference, I don’t think the E25/28 will ever be as effective. On the revised tank they sent you, they are probably tuning the spacing between the scraper and roller, if it’s too tight it might make the motor stuck, if it’s too loose it won’t scrape the roller effectively. In my opinion the spring loaded scraper design on the Ecovacs X9/T80 is superior. The Ecovacs X9 also does a better job cleanings its roller, keeps it free of odour because of hot water washing, and it keeps the base station mop washing tray cleaner than the Eufy E25. There is a dirty water tray on the robot next to the mop which is also removable and easier to clean in my opinion.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy E25 quick review No, I did not have dripping water or anything obviously defective. The only thing that was weird was just that it always had so little dirty water collected compared to how much water it had used.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy E25 quick review No. But people here are recommending E25/28 over the S1 which is why I bought a E25. The downforce on e25/28 is greater

r/RobotVacuums · Impressed with Deebot T80 Omni and comparison to Eufy E25 Yea, for anyone wanting the E25, I highly recommend going through Amazon and not their website. Ironically, I got the T80 Omni through Amazon since I was hoping to like the E25 more, expecting to have to return the T80, but it didn't work out as planned.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy E25 quick review Same experience here. Bought the E25 and the T80 Omni and found the T80 to be much better in almost every regard. I didn’t have mapping issues that other reported though. Mopping is much better on the T80 than the E25
r/RobotVacuums · Best prime day roller mop <$900 - E25/28 vs T80 vs M14 I had both the E25 and T80 Omni. For me, the T80 Omni was better in almost every regard. Returned the E25 even though it was $200 cheaper when I got it. (Paid $699 for the E25 vs. $899 for the T80) I wanted to like the E25 more since it was cheaper, but it just wasn’t as good for me.
r/RobotVacuums · Impressed with Deebot T80 Omni and comparison to Eufy E25 That's great, I'm glad its working out for you. At $699, I think it has a ton of value and is a great all-around robot. Just for me and my particular house, I preferred the T80. I wish I got the Prime deal for the T80 at $799 instead of $899, but didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning and repurchasing even though I was still in the return window.
r/RobotVacuums · Mova P10 Pro Ultra vs Dreame L40 Ultra I purchased the T80 and the Eufy E25. The T80 was better in almost every way for me; the E25 is not a bad robot, just not as good. Vacuum wars does not get their for free either.
r/RobotVacuums · Best prime day roller mop <$900 - E25/28 vs T80 vs M14 Got stuck more than the T80 on metal chairs and bathroom rugs (T80 has yet to get stuck), mop leaves a ton of water behind and doesn’t remove stains as well, it feels a lot cheaper built, louder, etc. The E25 is not bad, but just feels like a downgrade overall for me with the T80. Some people report mapping issues with the T80 though, I didn’t have that and the map is perfect for my house.
r/RobotVacuums · Mova P10 Pro Ultra vs Dreame L40 Ultra I purchased both the Eufy E25 and T80 Omni. The T80 was superior in every way. My experience so far with the T80 has been excellent, but it’s primarily being used for tile floors.

r/RobotVacuums · Thoughts on the Eufy E25? I'm on Day 3 of the E25 and I am not sure the mopping feature is working well - does it need time to break in or something? It seemed like it was mopping fine in one room, but then for the rest of the cleaning cycle, there were no signs of it having mopped - no damp trails or anything. It almost seemed like the roller just got dry after a few passes. Doesn't it have a thing to keep the roller wet while mopping? Just wondering if I'm missing something... Otherwise, very happy with it so far. The mapping is great, cliff detection, etc. all great. It's vastly smarter than my ancient Roomba that died the death of poop recently.
r/RobotVacuums · Thoughts on the Eufy E25? Follow-up - I've changed the return to base frequency and it's mopping like a champ now! Thanks!
r/RobotVacuums · Thoughts on the Eufy E25? I have it set to return to base station every 30 min. I'm not sure how to tell if it's filling, there is only a little water in the dirty water tank. Like maybe a half a cup.

r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations from a Robot Tester I would like to update my earlier post about the Eufy Omni E25. I have been using it for about 2 weeks and love it! Everything about this little monster is great. I come home to clean floors, and the unit is on the base, cleaning its roller mop and emptying the dust. I have 0 complaints. Love my Eufys!
r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations from a Robot Tester Eh! I literally just pressed the buy button 10 minutes ago. Do you have any recent data other than preliminary? I cannot see forking out over $500. on a bad/ok robot vacuum!

r/RobotVacuums · Ecovacs T80 Omni or Eufy E25? E25 Omni usually has better navigation and avoids obstacles more reliably. T80 Omni has stronger suction and a more thorough mop system. Both self-empty and mop, but the T80’s mop wash/dry is a bit more advanced If object detection and reliability matter most, E25 is often recommended. Neither is perfect, but both are good mid-range combo robots. I’d lean Eufy E25 Omni for reliability and everyday use.

r/RobotVacuums · Ecovacs T80 Omni or Eufy E25? If mopping and object avoidance are priorities, the T80 Omni is the better pick over the E25. The E25 is fine for basic cleaning, but it’s not as strong overall. fwiw my mate and i usually double-check owner feedback on Redditrecs before buying, some links are affiliate and help fund the analysis

r/RobotVacuums · Thoughts on the Eufy E25? My experience mirrors this. I've bought 2 E25s, one for my basement and one for my main floor. I actually really enjoy the robots so far and they do what I want them to do. The thing with robot vacuums is if there really is a model that truly cleans in a way that completely eliminates the need for me to mop? My opinion is there is not. For me, the E25 hits the sweet spot for price and performance. I think spending substantially more on a high end model yields diminishing returns. Is the performance increase on a model that costs twice as much really worth it? I personally don't think so, at least not right now.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy e28: One month review I have the e25 and I feel like the cleaning solution leaves the floors a bit sticky . Idk if it’s a different solution for the e28. But I had to drill a hole into the container for the solution so when it’s all done I’m Going to drill a bigger hole to fill it with some machine friendly cleaner solution
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy e28: One month review I can’t remember if it felt kind of sticky before or after I made the hole. Might stick a piece of micro pore tape over the hole and see if that helps.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy e28: One month review The e28 has a refillable solutions tank I believe. On the e25 it’s a box with cleaning solution that doesn’t really come out that well . Drilled a tiny hole on the top and since then it’s been dispensing better.

r/NeatoRobotics · Eufy e25 vs D7 - A review I get the concern—but for me, the risk is pretty low on a practical level. If some random analyst halfway across the world really wants to see my uninteresting floor or my feet at 2am, they’re more than welcome to it, in full colour or black and white 😄 I remember the **Eufy** situation well because I had Eufy CCTV at the time. The issue (late 2022 rather than three years ago) wasn’t that they were secretly live-streaming homes to the public, but that **unencrypted video streams and facial thumbnail images could be accessed via shared links**, and that **facial recognition thumbnails were being processed in the cloud** even though Eufy had heavily marketed their products as “local only.” That mismatch between marketing and reality was the real problem. To be clear though: * There was **no evidence of mass surveillance or deliberate spying** * There was **no proof of full video archives being harvested** * The biggest failure was **poor transparency and unlucky security design choices** * And yes—they **patched the issues quickly** once independent researchers went public On the encryption side: Modern Eufy devices now use **TLS-encrypted communication** for cloud transport, and **AES-encrypted local storage**. So while no IoT system is ever “zero-risk,” they are **not broadcasting raw video across the internet anymore**. On the robot vacuum camera side specifically: The camera sits **a few centimetres off the floor**, pointed forward mainly for **AI obstacle detection (shoes, cables, pet mess, etc.)**. It’s not roaming at eye level identifying valuables, documents, or faces in any meaningful way. Combined with **LIDAR mapping**, it’s an efficiency feature, not a surveillance camera in the traditional sense. You’re absolutely right that: * A full optical camera inside the home is **fundamentally different** from LIDAR-only mapping * But realistically, **your home’s layout is already inferable from satellite imagery, floorplans, listings, and deliveries** * The modern threat model already includes **phones, smart speakers, TVs, doorbells, laptops, and microphones everywhere** So for me, it comes down to **risk vs. reward**. The camera makes the navigation dramatically better. I’m comfortable accepting the **very small residual risk** that some low-resolution obstacle images might transit a server somewhere—because I genuinely can’t see a realistic, harmful use case for: * A skirting board * A sock * Or my exceptionally boring hallway carpet That said, your concern *is* valid—especially given how badly Eufy handled the messaging at the time. Healthy scepticism is sensible. I just personally land on the “practical risk is minimal” side of the fence for this specific use.
r/NeatoRobotics · Eufy e25 vs D7 - A review And here is the 9g of dust picked up by the D7 immediately after the e25 had done it run (picking up 7g). Hard to see in the picture, but that is not hair or fluff - just really fine compacted dust [https://i.ibb.co/ZRKCsWs5/PXL-20251207-154734976-RAW-01-MP-COVER.jpg](https://i.ibb.co/ZRKCsWs5/PXL-20251207-154734976-RAW-01-MP-COVER.jpg)

r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 Seems a lot of unnecessary concern with this solution cartridge. They’re £20 last months with daily washing and if you’d rather add a capful of ‘other brands’ cleaner (like the shark one for instance) directly to the clean water tank you can. Eufy even let you disable ‘auto adding of the solution’ to do so in the settings. No drama.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy E25 vs Dreame L40s Ultra vs Mova Z60 Ultra Just looked into this one. Any reason this is specifically recommended over eufy e25 let's say? Looks like it has 8.5k suction vs 20k on Eufy. Eufy has roller mop which people argue is better. Only upside I see on P10 is the hot mop washing.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy E25 vs Dreame L40s Ultra vs Mova Z60 Ultra Not yet. This world of robot vaccuum is insane! Every company has 5 lines, each line has 5 different bots. Every company has its issues - some quality, some support, warranty. So confused and annoyed. But for now zeroing down to L40s Ultra and Mova P10 Pro Ultra. Ruled out eufy because of the above irritation, they just do a bunch of paid reviews even on reddit and I hate that. Also apparently roller mops are difficult to clean because of onboard dirty tank and scrapers etc.

r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations by Price Band - These are the robots I'd buy OK. lots to absorb in here. 1st.. the Asurion thing. That is brand new information to me. Everything at Amazon has a 30 day return window, so why wouldn't the Asurion, particularly if you are returning the item its attached to? This is a good cause to call Amazon support, which i often find to be surprisingly good. I bet they refund you. Second... when you say "pad" can you be more specific? This model doesn't have a mop pad... do you mean the area of the dock where the robot lands? You know, people have mentioned a mildew smell in reviews, and I did not experience that at all, but they also implied it came from the ionizer, not the dock. I find most of my docks end up with some moisture in the landing spot, so that doesn't surprise me. That its mildewy (or mildew smelling) does.... Just to check... the sweeps are both turning inward, right? The thing I liked most about this design (and wanted to like about the E25, which is similar) is that it was almost impossible for debris to escape. those huge sweeps moved everything right to the roller, and the suction was able to get it up quickly. I ALSO want you to like it, both because I recommended it, but also, I truly believe its a great unit, unless mine is a fluke. Have you reached out to 3i?
r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Deals I think a vibrating pad is better than anything else. It doesn't make sense. I mean, twin spinning pads should be the most effect, and a single pad that looks like a swiffer should be the least. But.... in practice, its just not how it shakes out. The fact that the pad vibrates helps more than it should. Particularly in later models like Saros with those lifting chassis, they exert pressure on the mop area. DEF better than twin mop pads, and arguably more effective than most rollers except in one way: a vibrating pad can't extend beyond the robot, so you will have the issue of a band around objects and walls, etc. But... not all rollers extend, either (the e25/28 doesn't).
r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Deals A review on the e25 will appear tomorrow that also discusses the e28. While the hardware is set up to succeed... the software sucks. Throws errors all the time. I wasn't blown away by the mop, either. There's some real oddities around the way these 2 models operate.
r/RobotVacuums · Replacing my Roomba j7+ - Eufy E25 great news. ANYTHING will be better than the j7. Here's what I recommend, and it doesn't include the e25. [https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1lt8a0d](https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1lt8a0d)
r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations by Price Band - These are the robots I'd buy People go on a lot about object avoidance, but often, we're splitting hairs. Most of the robots are good enough at object avoidance for it to not be an issue. The things we want robots to avoid (cords, getting stuck on a towel or receipt on the floor) are things no robot avoidance is good at, and almost all of them are now so good at avoiding pet poop that they also avoid anything that looks remotely like it. No avoidance system means you don't need to pick up the legos. Sand is a really interesting use case. it's the right size, like dust, but it has weight, so you need suction. Don't get romanced by high PA numbers tho... they don't matter as much as the design of the robot. how the sweep moves the sand towards the roller, and how well the roller picks it up so the suction can do its job. I am a REAL NERD about those sweeps (brushes). When they revealed the new flexibrush I asked the engineers about it, because WHY LESS ARMS? answer: reasons. but, over the last few months, I've lost a lot of faith in the flexiarm. I'm now, strongly pro extending sweep or two giant sweeps that always make contact w the floor, like the Eufy e25 or 3i S10 (don't get the e25). So I'd actually recommend going another way. Get the S8 Max Ultra OR the Qrevo MaxV. I think you'll be happy w either, they have different mops. Remember what I said about suction power... don't let the numbers be the decision factor.

r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Deals Eufy Omni E25 Robot Vacuum and Mop Review: Too Prone to Errors | Lifehacker https://share.google/lLYaop8R9dB75pHQe
r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Deals This is not a popular opinion. People in this forum love their robots. I adore the guy that I deal with at eufy. I would give anything to love their robots. My entire home has their security cameras, and I have access to every security camera in existence. It's a choice. I think that they make great products in other areas. I just really don't like their robot. Vacuums. Every single time I get one. I want to love it, I want it to be better, I had such high hopes for the e25..... But it was disappointing. I think these robots tend to be designed really poorly, trying to do entirely too many things. I'm reminded of the one where the handle was integrated into the actual robot? They look cheap and they feel cheap. And there's a reason, because they're cheap. Which is part of what makes them very popular. And lots of people are happy with them. So maybe my experiences are unique to me, but you asked my thoughts and that's what they are.
r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations by Price Band - These are the robots I'd buy I'm very very rarely pull that Card out of my pocket. It feels gross when I do like unprofessional and even mildly abusive. I will tell you though that last summer I tested smart grills. There were like six of them on my back patio for a few months and then at the end of that. I end up giving most of them away. One of the grills went to some friends and I find out a month later that the entire front interface burned out. And keep in mind it's only a few months old and even though I didn't pay for it, it's a very expensive and large grill. And I don't want it to go into a landfill and it's completely inoperable. So I call the company and they tell me they're going to send the part out. Over the next 7 months, I would have to call back four or five times and each time somebody there insisted they had no idea why this had happened and they were putting it in the mail immediat by the fourth phone call, I pulled the card. By then the review was out and it was really very simple. Don't send me a new grill, which is what they wanted to do, I'm just trying to keep this grill out of the landfill. The part exists, just ship me the damn part. Eventually, no less than the vice president of the company calls me and promises to ship it out and it still took 3 weeks. I did a similar thing with a pool bot for which there was no support, that had stopped communicating with me... And I think I also pulled that on a Ecovacs lawnmower. All similar circumstances. Last week I gave away two different robovacs that I had to give a disclosure. Likely would never work. The mova with the broken wheel, and my eufy e25 That had a completely effed battery and the company didn't want back. It was 2 weeks old. Mostly I just get really annoyed when I have gone to the trouble of unboxing something and then setting it up and making a million phone calls and having to diagnose the problem and end up with a product that I can never get to work and have to box the thing back up and ship it back to the company.
r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Deals That's a tough one for both levels together. I actually don't think any of the selections you made would fit in that budget if you were to get two of them. I'd rather see you get one pretty good robot then two kind of bleh.ones
r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Deals Actually, all of their cameras work fantastic for me, including the doorbell. No, my issue was that it kept throwing errors and was unusable. But feel free to try it and see how it goes.

r/RobotVacuums · Impressed with Deebot T80 Omni and comparison to Eufy E25 My E25 arrived dead on arrival - it would not hold a charge. It took two weeks to receive the replacement. I also experienced slow communication with Eufy; it takes them a day to respond to a single email, so if you have multiple back-and-forths, you are several days into the chain now. Now, my base station is experiencing issues. I provided screenshots and requested a refund, as I have only had the actual robot working for a bit over a week, but I could tell I didn't want these problems. I'm apparently 1 day over the initial 30-day order window, and they refuse to refund my money. That's fine, I refuse to buy another Eufy product.

r/RobotVacuums · Impressed with Deebot T80 Omni and comparison to Eufy E25 I am a couple days in of testing both robots as well (E28), bought during Prime Day, and absolutely share the sentiment as you. I was hesitant to purchase the T80 a day after the E28 due to the mostly negative reviews on here regarding ecovacs, but thought I owed it to myself to test it as well. The T80 mapped, vacuumed, and vac + mopped so far without getting stuck once. The E28, however, got stuck just now on its first vacuum 4 times by getting tangled in small wires in my office. Watching the E28 vacuum definitely felt like it was way more aggressive in trying to clean around table/chair legs and carpets so much that it pushed them around and scratched itself up in the process. The E28 also can't fit under our cabinets due to the LIDAR sensor sticking up, but the T80 could. The T80 also did seem to be a little quieter on Standard compared to E28 Turbo, but is significantly on "Quiet" compared to E28 "Quiet" mode. I also agree regarding the mapping and room separation is better on the T80 vs E25/28 app. The Eufy app made so many rooms it took me a while to edit and sort them out, whereas the Ecovacs map was pretty good off the bat, and the map is much easier to modify and edit than the Eufy app. I'm about to try mopping with the E28 soon as well for comparison, but it will have to do wonders to have us keep it at this rate.

r/RobotVacuums · eufy E25 review after one week of use We have an E25 too, and concur with your summary. We've had it for 3+ weeks and so far it's only got tangled up and needed rescuing twice (and one it got into a very awkward corner and just got itself stuck). It's really good at avoiding stuff - if we leave a sock etc on the floor it doesn't suck it in and chew it up and get stuck like our old roborock. Regarding the AI, I'm pretty sure the device doesn't learn *itself*. The image recognition model has a few hundred common items that it can recognise and avoid, but Eufy have said they're going to update the model with additional items in future as part of their software/firmware updates for the device. So it will get better at avoiding stuff over time, but it's not actually learning itself. (Can you tell I'm a software dev who's worked on image recognition stuff in the past? 😁)
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 Totally agree with all of this, after a few days of ownership. Regarding consumables, it's possible to buy replacement bags much cheaper than directly from Eufy, but it would be nice to be able to buy 3rd-party detergent refills too. Maybe somebody will reverse-engineer it. After 4 days I checked the rollers for the first time today, and there was one piece of long thread wrapped around one of the rollers (the thread was about 0.5m long, so I'm not surprised that it didn't completely clear the rollers. The other hair has clearly been sucked up through the gap in the middle, so the dual roller system seels to work (we have two cats, including a long-haired one). One thing I was pleasantly surprised at was the Eufy customer service: * I had an odd issue with the virtual wall setup; sent a message and got a reply within 24hrs. * They also sent me a customer survey, and followed up with a human email asking if they could address the issues I'd had (which was glue residue after I removed the water tank stickers - they offered me a replacement water tank). I think they're keen to support this new model, and will sell a ton of them to happy customers, if my initial experience is anything to go by.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy e25 or roborock curve s5x E25 is very new, so not many reviews yet. It supports scheduling and can be programmed comprehensively. If you care about mopping, I'd avoid the disc mops on the Roborock, because they're just going to swirl the mud around. The thing that persuaded me about the E25 is that it actively rinses/scrapes the dirt off the roller as it goes, which means you're not just moving the dirt, you're actually removing it. The water that comes out of the machine is very dirty, and our floors are pretty clean now. See my post/comment history for other comments about my E25.

I’ve got one step similar to this, then from the kitchen (hard floor) to the hallway (thick carpet) there’s a threshold bar which is around 2cm up to the carpet, with no ramped section. But it sounds like it should manage that ok.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy e25 or roborock curve s5x If mopping is your main priority, you should just look at Eufy. The spinning mops are outdated; they have only one water tank, which means they must return to the base to wash the mop. But eufy S1 Pro, E28, and E25 have two water tanks, allowing them to wash the mop while mopping, so they don’t spread dirt around. I have a UK version of E25, and I love it! r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 The problem with this is it messes up the ratios, as the auto detergent injects the exact amount needed, but if you can figure out how much you need to dilute it, it probably will work.

r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 S2 could cost a lot more.. It targets a different group of people thats willing to spend that much for the robots. People that are mainstream looking for value and performance at the mid level, would probably find the e25/e28 as the best Robovac at the time being.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 It's really not that bad.. I believe the recharge is same as the s1 pro. It takes many washing cycles before you go through one bottle. If it is an issue just add the liquid directly to the clean water tank. Of course you should be using Robovac friendly solution.

r/RobotVacuums · Which robot vacuum works best with pet hair? Eufy E25/C28 do a great job with dog hair. They have relatively large dustbins compared to the competition and large filters with a pre mesh so it wont clog with large debris like hair etc. Never had a tangle in the main brush only on the side brushes. We own an E25 and have a shedding golden retriever and it has never failed to empty the dustbin. I really do wish that it had a bagless base station as you will be going through bags a lot.

r/RobotVacuums · Are most of the robot vacuums (under $500) with rotating cleaning pads really crap, unless they have a AI feature? I don’t know if the rotating mop heads are crap, but I did notice dirt build up around the edges of the room after a few weeks of daily vac/mopping. I get this issue on a much smaller scale with my roller mop. So in my experience, the roller mop cleans better, but I would take rotating mop heads over no mop any day. FWIW I think you can get the roller mop that I have (Eufy E25) for less than $500 now, so a roller mop is in your price range. I’ve commented a bit on my experience with the E25 so you can search my comments for more details, but overall I’m happy with it and would recommend it

r/RobotVacuums · Thoughts on the Eufy E25? Im not sure this is the answer but set it to return to base every 15 miin. i have mine set on water level medium as well since I have wood floors. I also have it set to go over 2 times in high traffic areas since we have 2 large dogs who go in and out of the house all day long. This is important for us during inclement weather like spring rains or snow in winter. It sounds like your dirty water tank is normal. I will go through a couple of tanks of cleans water before having to dump the dirty water tank. Hint, put couple of drops of liquid dishwasher soap in dirty water tank after you empty it. it helps with odorr.
r/RobotVacuums · Thoughts on the Eufy E25? I like mine. I've had it since last summer. I had a Roborock before and the Eufy cleans just as well and mops and 100% better. The navigation is fine. i do wish you could determine the cleaning direction for the unit but other than that it works fine. I will not ever go back to mopping pads or disks. The E25 does a good job of cleaning it's mop rollers. It doesnt require much regular maintenance. Just fill with clean water, empty the dirty water in the base, install a new dirt bag in the base and periodically clean the roller in the vacuum.

r/Dreame_Tech · Dreame L40 Ultra AE Was a Game-Changer for 2 Weeks… Then It Broke. Buy Again or Bail on Dreame? Alternatives/Black Friday Recs? I am leaning into the fact the warranty will hopefully see me right - bought from curry’s. Was very tempted to get another eufy as my g30 ran for 5 years with no major issues (and is still fine). Eufy support were also really good and the robot was super easy to take apart and change things on if you needed to. That said, the e25 was twice the price of the Dreame L40 AE so thought I’d take a risk.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy e28: One month review I currently have the X10 Pro Omni and have 2 cats, but I have to de-tangle it almost every couple of days because the hair/fur starts balling up around the brush despite having it on max suction and self emptying every 15 minutes (and it has that "Anti-tangle comb" where it spins the brush backwards to capture the hairs supposedly). I saw the E25/28 had new rollers that seem to actually NOT tangle. How has your experience been regarding that?

r/RobotVacuums · Debating between Roborock Qrevo CurvX and Eufy Robot Vacuum E25 I’ve tested a lot of vacuums. I’m on my second e25. First started acting funny and then the roller mop started stinking something fierce to the point it was stinking up our house while it cleaned. This new one was miles better at first with new firmware updates since the last one we had. Then, it just started randomly acting stupid - like, repeatedly bumping into our couch over and over and over and over and over and over in the same spot until I factory reset it. Now it’s romping over chairs, going into random rooms that are marked as no-go, driving drunk (not straight) and doing all sorts of other silly little things it never used to do. I’m guessing it’s a firmware bug that will get fixed (maybe?) but I don’t have time to babysit vacuums every day so it’s going back. The CurvX in the short time I had it was solid. Not great on medium pile carpet suction, but hard floor vacuuming and mopping was really good. Had a weird dry mopping things every once in a while, but again, I think these are like firmware patches they fix with updates. I’d 100% go with the CurvX - unless you have 100% solid flooring and a very simple modern layout on your home with nothing for vacuums to be stuck on or navigate around. The e25 mops and vacuums really good in wide open spaces, but the quality, pathing, and obstacle avoidance compared to a CurvX is lesser IMO.

r/RobotVacuums · Track Mops vs Roller Mops vs Spinning Pads: Are the New ‘Real-Time Cleaning’ Robots Worth It? Yes just unusable on my granite floor tiles, but usable on my walnut flooring which accounts for a third of my floor space. A month later we're still in awe as to how great this new robot is for us.
r/RobotVacuums · Track Mops vs Roller Mops vs Spinning Pads: Are the New ‘Real-Time Cleaning’ Robots Worth It? I have had my twin mop roborock for a couple of years. Black glossy granite kitchen floors. Basically a nightmare and after trying lots of different solutions and techniques, gave up ever using the mop for the kitchen floors and just resorted to vacuuming the floors instead. The watermarks created using the robot mops were basically horrendous and even using RO water it always left an awful looking "haze" everywhere if I were to use a wet clean. The only way I could get a good result was for myself to manually mop with my vileda mop and change the water constantly. Unfortunately with a german shepherd who frequently needs to use the garden, even with me cleaning her paws every time, I have paw marks everywhere which needs manual mopping multiple times a day to keep on top of things. At least the roborock did a great job gathering the hair shed everywhere! Until last month, I tried a Eufy e25..... OMG!!! OMG! I can't believe that it leaves an almost streak free finish that is 95% as good as my manual mopping with fresh water. I kid you not how much effort this saves me and my wife. The roller mops are in my situation a MASSIVE improvement to the unusable spinning mops. I run it multiple times a day and target the patio door area where we wash her feet many times a day. The e25 worth every single penny it cost us and then some.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy E25 vs Dreame L40s Ultra vs Mova Z60 Ultra Omgosh I know right?! It was doing my head i. If it helps I got the L40s Pro Ultra ...(I think it needs more superlatives at the end /s) Similar grips with you re:the Eufy, we wanted to go *really* hands off, and while the roller mop is awesome at mopping, it doesn't seem the best at being hands-off-automatic. And mopping in our house is more to grab all the extra fine dust rather than deep clean the floors. It's a massive upgrade from the s7 - mapped the house in like 5 minutes, didn't get stuck (also looks hilarious turning it's little light on in the dark areas, and my dog kept chasing it around) Mapping the hosue used to take hours with the s7. It's innitiated an 'initial deep clean' and the carpet vaccuming seems better already - it's now recharging so it can finish and mop the house. We've got about 200sqm so does almost the whole house on a single charge.

r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations from a Robot Tester Although this is an older post, I'd like to throw some suggestions in (I've owned 6+ vacs over many years and crossover expertise in related fields) on the testing of these things as there's some areas that often often go overlooked with reviews. RTINGS is my goto for other products, so I'm glad you are beginning to review these. - Navigation testing should incorporate various toe-kick and overhangs. Example: The Eufy X10/E25 comes to mind here, these vacuums don't switch to a "bumper probe" mode (careful mode), so in American kitchens with a ~4" toe-kick (cabinet overhang) high enough to let the body pass under but low enough for the LIDAR to hit it, the robot will take a wider path and not get fully into areas it can. This type of scenario is quite common and *most* manufacturers address it by the robot switching to a careful mode by having the robot slow down and test until the LIDAR bump sensor or front bumper sensor are tripped. Eufy is aware of the issue and says it'll be fixed *in future models* but no review highlighted this issue. - On-Bot Filter: Test how fast the on-board filter gets compacted with dust and hinders performance. You could do this synthetically with a dust substitute like flour. Everyone seems to test the robots near-new performance, few show the performance decay after 3/6/12 months of use, even simulated. I've had some bots that are incredible the first month, but drop off very hard even with new parts being swapped. Some get compacted filters after a couple cleans. - User Serviceability Testing: Analysis of availability of parts, manuals, instructions, and takedown procedure. Example: iRobot (prior gens, not sure of newer) is modularized and very user serviceable, a few screws and most parts are swapped. EcoVacs has one of the worst design paradigms for this, with some high wear parts being the first to go on the robot before 50 screws and a bunch of snap clips. - Analyze for potential future issues with design. This is something you'll get a feel for, but things like unsealed roller ends (Roomba), unsealed drivetrains/gearboxes (EcoVac), unshielded LIDAR arrays (Eufy X10, fixed going forward) and so much more are high failure potential. - Air Quality of System: How much dust is being spewed out by both the dock and the bot. I've seen some bots have surprisingly poor filtration. - App Features: Things like being able to see a photo of the obstacle detected and do localized retraining (ignore this, etc.) -- something iRobot allows for detected objects. Opposite side of the spectrum is Eufy, who removed this feature after the Eufy data leak. - App UI: Is it loaded with ads (the foreign companies seem to love this)? Does the map update every run or on specific runs? Can older maps be loaded from history (iRobot has great map control for the user). Does everything cease to function without internet? Some are okay as they store schedules locally, others go completely dumb/stop working.

r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations from a Robot Tester For the L40 ultra, I also had the issue where it had very poor hard floor performance even with the tricut brush. Turned out that the roller wasn’t touching the floor so debris would not be picked up and was defective. r/RobotVacuums · Eufy e25 ~1 month review I will not recommend this machine to anyone. Drips on floors. The constant error messages. It keeps running into things and pushing things around because of very bad map orientation. Vacuum perfomance is pretty low, particularly around obstacles and edges. It cannot empty the dirty water from the robot and leaks all over the floors. This is the 3rd machine they have sent me now and nothing gets better. r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 I'm really interested in how well the E25's "roller mop head" does both in cleaning the floors and being cleaned/dried by the base unit; and specifically - how it compares to the "spinning mop head" design of the Eufy X10. I'm a "roller mop head" fan over the spinning mop heads and definitely over the "mop pad" some mops use to basically smear dirty water around the floor. Roller mop head designs seem to be the only designs that suck dirty water up in real time, as it cleans. The spinning mop heads seem to be an improvement over the "mop pad" design, and they seem to be the popular design for mid to high range bots these days, but I still don't like the concept that they do not suck the dirty water up as they go so they'll inevitably smear some dirty water around the floor instead of immediately removing it. I was spoiled with my first mop bot, the Irobot Scooba and owned 2 or 3 of them until they were replaced by the Braava. I've been through a couple of Ilife Shinebots which are not the best mop bot but for awhile they were the only roller mop bot that wasn't thousands of dollars, and in fact was dirt cheap under $100, until it was discontinued. That's why I'm interested in the E25 to replace my Shark Vac bot and Ilife Shinebot mop bot. I'm also considering a couple of Narwal's and Roborock's, but the E25 is the only one I'm considering that has a roller mop head. And I can't find any other roller head mop bots for under $800.

r/RobotVacuums · MOVA Z50 Ultra German Review FYI, apparently the Ecovac T80 Omni returns way more than 25% back to the tank. If I'm not mistaken the scrapper for the mop is metal and uses springs for constant pressure VS the plastic scraper that the Eufy uses. If you want to get even more hardcore, look up the new "track mop" technology that's coming down the pipe- it's like the roller mops but on steroids. I think I might wait a bit for models to come out to compare with the current roller mops.
r/RobotVacuums · MOVA Z50 Ultra German Review I am jealous that you're able to get one. How much dirty water is being returned to the tank VS the clean water tank? I have the Eufy E25 that I am returning as it's only collecting about 25% of the dirty water. I positive the amount of water left on the floors would cause damage over time.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy e25 ~1 month review Same here, I'm asking for a refund. Also the amount of dirty water vs fresh water in the tank is concerning. It's only collecting like 25% of the dirty water, the rest stays on the floors.

r/RobotVacuums · MOVA Z50 Ultra German Review As long as the vac isn't steam cleaning or leaving puddles of water, it shouldn't damage traditional flooring. You'll only ever see around 25% returned as it does leave a little water behind. I can maybe see the last row or two the vac did before it dries? Way less water than traditional mopping. On another note I (and many others) have had issues with the vac being able to re-dock itself after a few weeks/months of cleaning. I had to add Velcro strips to the dock so it could get up. Not very happy with that

r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Deals She is the only one Ive seen reporting software issues. Branch out, don’t trust one person’s opinion. She has never posted any visual content only opinions. Not saying good or bad, just something to keep in mind. Plenty of others show their work and any issues they might have. Everyone has some bias, I have even caught myself being biased. Eufy is a solid machine. The primary complaint about the E28 is the DB level when it evacuates the dirty water. The e25 is quieter because it doesn’t have the portable cleaner that contributes to the volume of noise. The vac running to clean the floors is normal volume.
r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations by Price Band - These are the robots I'd buy Cat toys was my concern. The Dreame x40, Mova p50, Eufy e25 e28 all have excellent object avoidance. Especially in their price ranges. Eufy e25 is $699 through Eufy. Those Dreame and Mova models can drop their mops. Eufy has vac only. All of them can vac corners.

r/RobotVacuums · Want to return Eufy E28 for ECOVACS X8 Omni or Mova Z50 Ultra. Need advice :) I also have Eufy E25. What advantages do the Mova Z50 have over eufy? What's better with Z50? As I am disappointed with mine and need to return and look for something else.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 The foam issue is probably more related to the robot. It leaves heavy foam lines from the edge of the roller. I took it off, wiped it and wiped the robot. Put it back on and it keeps leaving foam everywhere
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 1 hour with the E25 and I already wish return was possible The roborock S6 is definitely being plugged back in tomorrow. Turned off Ai obstacle mode, now it smashes into everything. Like real hard this thing is probably not gonna last long, so many fragile parts. The roborock I have kicked and smashed with my foot so many times out of anger when it doesn't collaborate, and still he rocks 4-5 yrs later and no broken parts
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 The E25 won't even vacuum along edges. So disappointed with my E25. My 5 yr old roborock did a way better job vacuum along floor list and walls. E25 is so conservative. It gets stuck everywhere and won't the walls not even remotely close
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 My E25 is leaving foam lines all over the place. From the edge of the roller it leaves foam everywhere long lines. Going around a table leg? Foam all around the leg.. Wtf. Anyone else?

r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Deals Last question: Leaning toward Eufy E25, entertained Narwal Flow, Eufy S1 Pro, 3i S10 (all for downstairs, don’t know for upstairs) Have 2 levels - - 1st 2000sqft 50:50 carpet luxury vinyl - 2nd 1700sqft 90% carpet 10% tile Kids with toys & legos all over, shedding dogs who occasionally poop in house (🫣), long haired MIL Leaning heavy towards roller mop for downstairs bc very heavy traffic and I believe everything else just pushes dirt around (very dark LVP so hard to tell) Wanting something cheaper for upstairs carpeted areas - not as messy or poop prone 🤣🤣 Total budget for both ~$1k Thoughts?

r/RobotVacuums · eufy E25 review after one week of use I noticed that it automatically turns on the lights when it goes under the sofa or cabinets, but I haven't noticed it bumping into anything. Most of the time, it's working during the day.
r/RobotVacuums · eufy E25 review after one week of use Thanks for your explanation! Whether it's learning on its own or being taught by eufy, as long as it becomes more flexible, that’s what matters😂
r/RobotVacuums · eufy E25 review after one week of use It’s great! Much more efficient than using a chom chom roller.

r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Deals Yes, just googled and found it. So looks like your main concern is with the App not communicating with the robot? Honestly, I have had that frustrating experience with their doorbell, which I ended up returning because it wouldn't load the video. That said, I wonder why other people are not facing that issue. I may just pick it up and give it a try, and maybe I'll end up returning it if I face the same problems.

r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 I bought this as my first robot vacuum mop. It mapped the first floor of my house but it didn't consider my sofa. From the map it seems that it cosidered it a wall, the same for the TV bench and a coffee table even though it could go under them. Should I let it map the rooms again?

r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 I suppose that would be a problem, I think somewhere in the eufy site there was a page correcting the bug of the s1, where the support said how much detergent is casted for each water tank. The issue is that even if you match the same amount in ml, the detergent you are going to buy wont be concentrated the same as teh eufy detergent, so it is just trial and error to find the correct amount you like...i dont know
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 I can confirm the e25 has a one use non refillable cleaning solution container, when is out, you will have to purchase it. I emailed the customer support to ask, and hey said it is one use non refillable. E28 has a refillable reservoir, I didnt ask this, but there are many reviews on youtube about the e28 (not many about e25) and everyone of them said the cleaning solution reservoir is refillable.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 In one of the few review I have seen, it kinda show the app UI, and also the guy said, you can vacuum or vacuum+mop, there is no option to vacuum THEN mop.

r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 From what I can see the E25 has that annoying proprietary cartridge and the E28 has annoying high noise level in the base. Too bad both have such a drawback.

r/RobotVacuums · Undecided I have the e25 and even when my floors feel and look clean the amount of dirt in the dirty water reservoir is pretty insane which to me means it’s mop is fantastic. It’s never had a hair tangle and I think only sucked a cord up once. I think the vacuuming is good but not perfect. It gets the visible hairs but when I kick on my Dyson with the green light there is always little hairs I find but in my experience no robovac will get everything. All in all my floors have never felt or looked better!

r/RobotVacuums · A Sneak Peek Of The Eufy Omni S2 Robot Vacuum! Welcome to the Future Of Robot Vacuum Technology! Part 1 of 2 How good is the deep carpet vacuuming? I saw Digital David/Vacuum Chef review on YT it performed similarly to E25 and a bit below S1 Pro.

r/RobotVacuums · I'm a robot reporter, here's my Black Friday recommendations by price band Coming from someone who has had ecovacs, narwal and eufy. I can say this: it’s a lot easier to forgive the eufy bot for the odd shortcoming when it’s half the price of its competitors. I’m not sure why e25 hasn’t made the list. It competes with vacuums at double the price. It made the top 10 list on vacuumwars as well. Eufy has gift cards on their website which gets an extra 1-300 off when you’re buying. I’m not sponsored, just really like the eufy despite their odd hiccups. Not sure why the Mova P10 pro isn’t on here I’ve heard great things as well.

r/Dreame_Tech · Got the L40 blindly. please advise Totally get the impulse buy panic — but honestly, you did great. The L40 Ultra is a beast: crazy strong suction, self-cleaning mop, auto-empty/refill, and great on hard floors. For $499? That’s a steal. Way ahead of something like the Eufy e25. You’ll be glad you kept it once it’s up and running — especially with a baby on the move soon. Let us know how it goes!

If you love eufy, and the E25/E28 works for your needs then I don't see the need in returning it. It'll still get the job done. Our tests push robots to their limits, so it's important to take them with a grain of salt. That being said, here are a couple of alternatives. If you really want a roller mop, I'd suggest the Ecovacs X8 Pro Omni. It does a fantastic job at mopping. It's good for hard floor pickup, does a decent job on carpet, but was just okay with pet hair on carpet. Dual rollers would be the most ideal for pet hair usually. The Roborock Qrevo Slim has the same dual rollers as the S8 MaxV, which did really well with carpet and pet hair, and has the same mopping system as the other Qrevos which generally do well. For the cat accidents, we don't test for spills, so unfortunately I wouldn't be able to provide much info for that. Some will look out for spills, though, and turn off the vacuum, although I don't know how effective those are.
Oh good to know! Since we have limited resources, [we leave it up to the manufacturer ](https://www.rtings.com/company/out-of-spec-policy)to let us know if our tests may be because of a defective unit. In our tests, the X8 did better than the E25 in carpet, but is more expensive. If you're that unsure, see what options Costco has. Their return policy is pretty great (in Canada anyway). Trust your gut, if you get one and don't like it within a week, return it and try something else.
