r/budgetprojectors · LG cinebeam Q vs Benq GV50 The picture on the LG will be better. 4K with full colour coverage. The only thing that detracted was it’s a slightly loud fan noise and internal speaker isn’t great. Sounds like you have the speaker side covered.

r/projectors · LG Cinebeam Q vs Epson EF-21. I hope the rainbow effect doesn't bother you because it does have a great picture. Oh one thing I forgot to mention was the laser speckle as well, it's quite bad on this projector but hey you might not notic any of these things lol
r/projectors · LG Cinebeam Q vs Epson EF-21. It also has a terrible speaker and an awful remote setup. You have to literally point the remote at the back of the device for it to work. It's absolutely dumb
r/projectors · LG CineBeam Q in Spain The cinebeam Q has A LOT of rainbow artifacts and also really bad laser speckle.
r/projectors · LG Cinebeam Q vs Epson EF-21. Cinebeam Q has great PQ but suffers from really really bad rainbow effect
r/projectors · LG Cinebeam Q vs Epson EF-21. It's definitely a deal-breaker, even if you're not so sensitive to it, this one has it really bad
r/projectors · LG Cinebeam Q vs Epson EF-21. Yes, picture quality is great. I'm glad you're enjoying it :)

r/projectors · LG Cinebeam Q vs Epson EF-21. Damn. Are you sure? I haven't seen anyone complain about it. And Mondoprojos review said quite the opposite of it. "Fortunately, this visual defect is imperceptible in the LG Qube image."
r/projectors · LG Cinebeam Q vs Epson EF-21. I got it yesterday, I didn't notice the rainbow effect at first. I tried looking for it while I watched a few episodes and a movie and I only noticed it a few times on the subtitles while actively looking for it. Either I'm not sensitive to it or it's because I'm not using a screen. Picture quality is amazing for how portable and small it is, I find myself moving it all the time while I move around (nightstand) in the bed and it works like a charm. I just twist it to a new wall when I lay on my side and it's done. My previous projector was a Nexigo PJ40 and this is in a whole other league. The remote is a pain but the LG THINQ app saves the day. Overall for my usecase it's excellent, especially for 400 euros used. I will be keeping it for sure.
r/projectors · LG Cinebeam Q vs Epson EF-21. I only found one review about it on there. Well I guess I will have to test it out myself. Luckily I have 48 hours to return it if I don't like it. I will post my results when I get it. While searching for the rainbow effect I made up my mind on it from the excellent reviews about picture quality. Good luck to me I guess.
r/projectors · LG Cinebeam Q vs Epson EF-21. Is that a deal breaker? I don't know if I'm sensitive to it or how annoying it is.

r/projectors · We’re giving a few r/projectors members the new XGIMI Elfin Flip 4K to test and keep — honest reviews required 1600 lumens vs 500, that alone will hopelessly trounce the LG.

r/projectors · What's the best Portable projector? I’m using the [LG CineBeam Q](https://share.google/OZi88iZSLg1BxNUsh) from my own shortlist and it’s the first mini projector that didn’t feel like a toy. Bright enough for evening movies, autofocus is quick, I just put it down and watch without fiddling every time.

r/budgetprojectors · LG cinebeam Q vs Benq GV50 I used to be in the market for those, ended up with the jmgo 4K N1S. Cinebeam had heating issues and GV50 is 1080p (by memory). These days I think you can do better than both of these models. MOGO4 for example?

r/budgetprojectors · LG cinebeam Q vs Benq GV50 that's if you use it, considering performance (REAL) figures ("pi55 poor" abilities/performance), you are unlikely often or at all. Even if it stands, not ever used, battery is going to get depleted, that even within 3 years isn't covered by warranty. @ OP: again, both BenQ GV50 and LG CineBeam Q belong in a pre-teen girls room, design/fashion accessory, not a proper projector, regardless of labels"warranties" on it.

r/budgetprojectors · LG cinebeam Q vs Benq GV50 It is a trade off. Better image with LG but better warranty with BenQ. Everyone's situation is different so I will let you decide what is most important to you. I personally like having a good warranty.
r/budgetprojectors · LG cinebeam Q vs Benq GV50 One year vs three year warranty. Not saying that is the only thing you should consider but I know I would certainly factor it into my decision. 🤷

r/budgetprojectors · LG cinebeam Q vs Benq GV50 I wouldn't bother these look funky but imagine a TV without a backlight...you will buy it and never use it. As someone who as numerous projectors get one with at least 1800 lumens...even then you will struggle to use it unless it mid winter and pitch black

r/budgetprojectors · LG cinebeam Q vs Benq GV50 I would skip the lg cinebeam q because for that price the sound is horrible, for a good middle ground you can get a nebula mars 3 but the benq gv50 will work just as good. The hook up has a good review video comparing these.

I haven't used any of them. I have a bunch of full sized projectors, and have only used the super cheap Happrun H1 and the LG Cinebeam Q, which is okay, but a bit much for what it is. The N1S may be bigger than you are hoping for. I would lean towards the Nova Mini. It is likely to get a bit more talk over the next year considering it just won that shootout recently and should do quite well. I'm also not a fan of laggy menus or smart operating systems, but I use a Roku with all of my stuff in my home, so it really isn't a headache for me.
Depends on what price you are paying and what your final goal is. The Cinebeam Q, portable unit delivers a nice image, but it doesn't come with a tripod mount, which is a big negative and the adjustment stand is very rudimentary. It also isn't the easiest of the portable models to setup. That may not matter much, but you absolutely MUST use an external speaker with it as it has the worst internal speaker of any projector I have ever heard over the years. A shame as LG makes some decent speakers and knows how to. That said, it's a solid little unit with really good image quality overall. Still, according to The Hook Up, there may be better options for your money, like the BenQ GV50... I expect it completely would, but there are other considerations overall. Size, ease of portability, image quality, etc. Still, the word trounce does keep running around in my head. What's interesting is that LG came out with the PF1500U about the same time that XGimi introduced their original Horizon projector in the USA. I would say, at the time, that XGimi was very similar, but a bit better looking than the LG was, but LG had so much better support and had USA service. But, it was clear even then that they were getting some honest competition.
The Cinebeam Q does have a lot of RBE issues that I have seen. Worse than other DLP models which I own by a fair bit. The compact size is really nice. It is quite portable. But, the external power supply is a consideration as is the IR remote instead of a RF remote or better IR sensor placement on the model. I enjoy the one I have and don't notice any laser speckle when I use it on my wall and didn't see any when I used it on a 110" white screen. In general use, I've been really happy with it overall. The internal speaker is perhaps the most garbage thing about it. The internal apps are probably the best thing. The support of a major manufacturer goes a long way to making the operating system a fair bit better. I assume you watched this video... [https://youtu.be/jmmGQOSAReI?feature=shared](https://youtu.be/jmmGQOSAReI?feature=shared) There are ones from prior years worth looking at as well, like this one... [https://youtu.be/yvtpArSHXeU?feature=shared](https://youtu.be/yvtpArSHXeU?feature=shared) The BenQ GV50 is 2.1 kg and is very well reviewed, but is larger for sure. The XGimi Flip is an intriguing model, but I'm not sure how it fares against the competition.
