r/projectors · Thoughts on Dangbei atom laser Hello. I bought a Dangbei Atom second hand two months ago for 300€. It has worked great but two days ago the speaker stopped to work. I don't know why because one night it was working and the day after it didn't sound. I have tried everything, including a factory reset. But it hasnt worked. Now I'm using a pair of bluetooth speakers but i would like to use sometimes tbe internal speaker (that i think it's quite good for such a small projector. Any suggestion? Do you know how to solve this problem?

Was going to grab one myself but ended up with the Dangbei dbx3 for our use and needs as we have a nebula mars 2 for portable use. Everything mentioned about portable being lower in power and ansi lumens, etc are correct. It's great for dark viewing but any light added in really kills the overall viewing as its just not that powerful. I'd Def rock the Atom with a nice sized power bank if you have that option. We always have powerbanks on hand when traveling or camping either way but thr Atom puts out quite a bit of light and its super clear for the size of it.

r/projectors · Thoughts on Dangbei atom laser Everything I watch on my Dangbei Atom is pretty smooth, even after using keystone from one side of my bed (throw image to ceiling above). But one major disappointment has been basketball. I tried ESPN+ and MAX to watch March Madness, and the shuttering is insane. I can't see passes and shots because the frames are skipped over. Sometimes there are commercials and those are fine amd smooth, but then the sports action is choppy again. Any ideas on solving this issue?

r/budgetprojectors · Best beamer under 1000 euro's? (JMGO N1S or BenQ GP100) As you can probably tell, I've spent weeks thinking about these portable models :D In the end about a week ago I decided to go with the GV50. If it turns out I enjoy the projection experience, I'll keep it as a portable due to battery and will save some money to buy a decent lifestyle projector in a year or two for my favorite projection position in the house - which I don't know yet haha. \--- I gotta say, I reaaaally wanted the JMGO N1S. Triple laser and portable, what's not to like. But then I realized that: \- Any repairs/warranty work from where I am in Europe would mean shipping to US or China/HK. So two months without the projector easily. \- JMGO tries to actively hide the N1S model. It's not really highlighted in their website or amazon store pages, and most Amazon stores only carry the bigger models. Somehow the even smaller model (JMGO Picoflix) is also easy to find. This is a red flag for me. Something is up, I don't want to find out at this point. This is just friendly advice so you can gain from my research. If you just need to have brightness the Dangbei Atom might be good enough for you, without the triple laser issues of the N1S.

r/projectors · My review of the Dangbei DBOX02 (formerly Mars Pro 2) is up! The contrast ratio and picture quality between dbox02 and Atom are very similar really. The 02 is a bit brighter so HDR intensity is a bit more impressive, but the Atom still uses the same laser tech and you'd likely not notice the difference anyway until you brought your face to the projection screen to interrogate at a pixel level. Sadly at the time I had both projectors in different locations so could not place them side by side. There is a new N2 model by the way and I should be getting that in soon to check out. It's more compact than the Atom with similar specs, also 1080p.

r/projectors · Best portable projector for vacations? That projector is like 3x the size of the Nebula Laser though. The Nebula laser is like a 1.5x sized can of coke. 6.6” tall by 3.3” diameter. Nebula laser is plenty bright in a dark room for me

r/projectors · Thoughts on Dangbei atom laser ik vond hem zelf redelijk bright tho, savond's heb ik hem op 1 staan omdat ik het anders te vel vindt. Enige na deel is dat soms de ventilator willekeurig aan gaat snachts, en dat de speaker die er in zit beetje zacht is.
