r/4kTV · upgrading to best lg tv, which OLED actually holds up? I returned a Samsung S90H and got the LG C5 today. I was considering the G series, but for $1000 you can’t go wrong with the C5. Plus I saved roughly $750 by returning the Samsung. Grateful for all these subs explaining how shitty the 2026 Woleds are compared to 2025 models.

You're getting a 40% area increase with C5 65 vs 60% brightness increase with G5 55. Which is pretty close. G5 is slightly ahead but you're getting a bigger screen with C5 too.

The S90F is a good alternative, but at that size you won’t get the patented QD-OLED tech, instead you get a WOLED panel. You need to go 65 inches to get that and at that point a premium 55 inch S95F may cost the same. There are better OLEDs like the Sony A95L, Samsung S95F, LG G5 and Panasonic Z95B, but these are flagship TVs that will cost more however. C5 is the best bang for your buck I would say.
r/4kTV · What is Mini LED like for gaming? Does it have any ghosting (looking at the Sony Bravia 5 specifically)? The Bravia 5 has got slow pixel response times and also suffers from motion smearing. So ghosting is definitely an issue. You would get better contrast and depth on a higher tier mini led anyway. OLED imo is best for gaming however. I’d go with a Sony Bravia 9(flagship), Samsung QN90f (midrange) or TCL C7K (budget) depending on what you can afford if you really want a mini led for gaming. I prefer OLEDs and think burn in is overblown. Rtings I believe have shown that OLEDs are more durable than they are given credit for. I would go for an LG C5 if you want a midrange OLED for gaming. A Samsung S95F for a flagship (what I have in my living room).

S90D has HDR10 which isn’t as widely used. S90D offers up to 144HZ natively which makes it a better option for PC gaming. C5 is at 120HZ which is still solid for console gaming and has Dolby Vision gaming for Xbox too. Both have 4 HDMI 2.1 Ports and low input lag. It’s important to note the S90D has a bit of a panel lottery depending on where you are from and which size you get. Some are QD-OLEDs (Samsung’s specialty) and some are WOLED (you are better off with a LG WOLED). I tend to prefer the flagship Samsung’s over LGs (Samsung S95F>LG G5), but I think the LG C5 is a better midrange option than the S90 series. I think the S90F was a solid upgrade over the its predecessor the S90D due to its improved upscaling and brightness, but it still is worse for movies imo than the LG C5. So the midrange Samsung imo is slightly better for gaming, but in terms of movies the LG C5 clears it.

If you can find a rare Sony A95L new though that would be ideal (my uncle managed to snag a 55 inch model boxed and new in store for a little over a £1100/$1474), but the 55 inch size is discontinued in general (only 77 inch remains online).

r/4kTV · Best 65" OLED TV for gaming around €1,000–1,300 in 2026 (Europe)? S90F or C5 If it’s purely for gaming in a dark room, I would have to go for the S90F. HDR brightness on a QD-OLED pops off the screen. If you are going to be using for movies and/or mostly in brighter lot room, then C5. S90F has a very effective anti-reflective panel but can give a slightly purplish hue if the room is bright. C5 will retain its deep inky blacks wherever you have it. In a dark room, S90F wins, its brightness and wider colour range, just looks stunning. I have both, they are both great TVs If you can stretch to either of these two. Maybe save a couple more months, it’s definitely worth the extra.

While many in the industry feel the C5 is the value king for what you get for the money, the S95F is the "better" set. LG just announced the C6 and they are bringing some of their highest Tier features down to the C6 and I believe this will be the value king again.

While the LG C5 is slightly brighter in SDR, the QD-OLED panel that Samsung uses is able to display colors more vibrantly and has a much wider color volume. I personally would choose that over a standard WOLED panel. I only leaned more heavily LG because I thought you were getting the G5 which is a lot brighter and the RGB Tandem OLED panel really does expand the color volume more giving the S90F a run for its money.

Room is not bright, mainly for playing games/some movies/sport watching They’re both very similar to each other, with the only difference being that the C5 is a lot brighter and the Z8BA has better motion handling. Also the Z8BA supports both HDR10+ and Dolby Vision whereas the C5 only supports Dolby. I bought my brother the Z8BA for Christmas and it’s beast of a TV.

As in there is a decent amount of difference between the C6 and the G6, but there isn’t much between the G6 and the G5 (and in fact some prefer the G5 over the G6). In case there is no G5 option, for everyday use, if your room is dark in general, the C5 will work well for it, but if it has a lot of light in general, then the G6’s brighter screen will be much more useful.

Honestly, I'd buy it, but I don't think I can convince my wife, lol. She already jokes that we should keep how much we're planning to spend on the TV a secret. We can afford it without any real issue, but spending that much on a TV still feels excessive to her. It's more of a mindset thing than a financial one. LG C5 55' I have a c9 and I disabled all the setting that had anything to do with abl limiter , it dims the tv and I have close to 8500 hrs on it with more than half of that gaming ,mostly Battlefront 1 and I have no issues at all. Today's oled have better features to prevent burn in without killing the brightness, I'm sure you'll be fine.

r/4kTV · LG (C5) vs Samsung (S90F). Which one would you buy for €1200? Okay so I'm just an average guy that likes his tech and has tried both. The C5 is the one I chose to keep but honestly, it's a matter of circumstances and personal taste. Let me explain.. Had an LG C9 for years now, best TV I've ever owned so the obvious upgrade was a C5 but I found a better deal on the 65 inch S90F with cashback here in the UK so took a chance on it as a lot of the reviews point to this being the better pick. It lasted two weeks before getting returned and replaced with the 65 inch C5. The S90F was frustrating to say the least. It didn't upscale lower quality content very well, the picture/sound/brightness settings did what they wanted to do despite numerous attempts to mess about with them (which didn't make a massive difference anyway) and in typical Samsung fashion, everything was massively overdone. Colours and saturation were massively overblown and it was eye piercingly bright, so much so that it hurt. Even at half brightness, it was too much. The final straw was the black level raise that everyone talks about. Under direct or with strong ambient light, the blacks just go grey and can have a magenta tint to them due to the lack of a polariser on the display. That defeats the purpose of an OLED to me. The C5 is less frustrating to use, has a more balanced picture out of the box, upscales lower quality content better and in my opinion, feels like a more premium TV. Oh and the blacks stay black. It doesn't pop as much or have the wow factor you CAN occasionally get on the Samsung but it's an all round excellent TV and if you've not had OLED before, you'll still be very much taken aback by it like I was when I first bought my C9 7 years ago. Tizen Vs WebOS is down to preference. I found them so similar it's not even worth comparing. Dolby Vision is a nice feature on the LG if you game on an Xbox like I do. HDR10+ isn't a fair alternative like it's suggested to be as it's not widely adopted enough. I had to purposely search up HDR10+ videos on YouTube to get it to kick in for example. Best explanation I can give is that for 10% of the time, the Samsung is the better TV. It has that pop and that wow factor with the right settings displaying the right content under the right room conditions at the right time. But for the other 90%, the LG does a better job as it looks good with most of what you throw at it. The Samsung CAN look a bit better, but only with a small selection of content in a dark room. r/Hisense · U8H (under full warranty) backlight turned blue - Should I replace it with the U8 or UR8? I have seen the preliminary test results from the rtings website, and the UR9 scored low in some gaming related tests. I guess the UR8 will not be any better. I'm not saying it is a bad TV, but these results made me cautious of RGB. The results for Samsung's RGB looked equally bad regarding gaming. There is apparently a lot of smear in fast motion on these TVs, and I think input lag was also not great. I have an U8Q and considered upgrading to an UR9, but I think this is actually off the table for me, as I am also a gamer. The U8Q is great, except for the screen uniformity. If this is something that bothers you, I would get the C5 tbh.

If that’s important to you, rule out all of those. How much light the room gets should also be a factor. Certain TVs are better for brighter rooms. Personally, I looked at all of the TVs you listed, and I ended up going with an LG C5 thanks to the recommendation of the fine folks in this sub. So far, it’s been incredible, and I have no regrets! You’ll definitely save a little more with a TCL though, and I’ve heard they can be great

Even that doesn't have that many dimming zones (near 4000\~) so I know there may still be bloom but it must be better than c7k. That said, 3m is pretty close but I can always move my couch closer or further back. This is a living room TV after all. That's why the 83" LG OLED is also an option if it's worth downsizing for the picture quality and all benefits of OLED. The mini leds seem to be able to get brighter though.

The s90f is on par with my LG C5. Yes I have a lot of TVs split between two homes. Left out the Hisense U7 in the office, which is good enough for the office but wouldn’t use for main viewing, though I do like the Google OS.

r/4kTV · TV to replace a 55" Sony X900E for console gaming I recommend it. It is a great set and more than enough. It is the one with the least amount of headaches too 😂. A glossy finish, so beware if you have a lot of windows and/or lights facing it. The 48 inch is great and honestly, if u are in a dark room, which is what I recommend for these tvs to be, even better. The weakness of the 48 inch is that it doesn't have the brightness 🔆 booster. That is reserved for 55 and higher. You definitely want those beautiful picture to shine, especially those HDR highlights. I also would recommend the pros and cons of OLED and decide if you're okay. There are safety measures to extending the life of those televisions. Also, beware the power cords are attached on these TVs. I know some people hate that.

r/LGOLED · Should I buy this or save up for a G4/G in December? The B series is the base/entry level model for LG OLEDs. The C series is the midrange and the G series is the flagship. There's also the M series and now they brought back the W series to replace the M series with. Those two are basically the exact same as the G series (so still their flagship OLED), but they're only meant to be wall mounted and come with an external box that houses all of the hdmi, ethernet, optical, usb... etc ports for the TV, along with the processor and all that stuff in order to allow the TV itself to be as thin as possible to be able to sit as thin as possible against your wall. The "W" actually stands for "Wallpaper" in this case, due to the intent of the TV's design. As for the distinction in terms of performance, the B series is very dim in comparison. Talking specifically about the B5, since that's the generation you seem to be looking at here, it doesn't even reach 1000 nits. Just in case you aren't aware, nits is a measurement of brightness, and the industry standard for measuring how bright a TV can get is on a 10% window. So, 10% of the entire surface of the TV panel itself. 1000 nits on this standard is typically the bare minimum requirement to be able to produce an effective HDR image, as every piece of content that is mastered in HDR is mastered at a minimum of 1000 nits. Some are mastered at 4000 nits. Some at 10,000 nits. So, I would not reccomend the B5 if you watch HDR content or if your room has lights on. The C5 gets you a lot more brightness than the B5. The C5 gets nicely above 1000 nits, typically between 1200-1500 nits, and it also has better processing than the B5, as well as a slightly faster panel (144hz). The B5 has a 120hz panel. The G5 is the flagship, so it stands head and shoulders above both of them. Now usually I'd say the flagship is not worth it over the C series unless you have the money to spare, but in this generation, it's the rare case that it's actually worth it and it actually lived up to the hype it generated. The G5 is the first time LG has addressed taking on qd-oleds for color, and while they still haven't quite gotten there just yet, the G5 had closed the gap so much that you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference unless you had them side by side playing the same demo content pushing colors beyond the limits of the TVs themselves. So, for reference, the G5 can reach a staggering 2500 nits (likely even higher now since the last big update actually raised the brightness in almost all the modes quite significantly). It's color volume also far, far exceeds the C5, so colors will look far deeper and much more pure on the G5 in instances where they push beyond the C5's capabilities. The brightness also helps to push those colors to be significantly more vibrant than the C5 is capable of, even when the color volume of the content itself doesn't push beyond the C5's capabilities, when the brightness of those colors goes beyond the brightness of the C5, the C5 will be forced tk shift those colors towards white in order to hit the brightness levels being called for, whereas the G5 will still have a comfortable amount of room until it needs to shift towards white. So, the G5 not only can display significantly more colors than the C5, but it can also display significantly more vibrant and deep colors than the C5. So, my conclusion is this: if you can save for it, get the G5. BUT, don't just look at the G5. I actually would like you to take a look at the C6H of the new generation. This is the C series, but specifically the 77-inch and 83-inch sizes, as this year is the first year LG is putting the G series panel on the C series (again exclusively on the 77-inch and 83-inch sizes only). So, the C6H (the "H" is the designation for the models that have the G series panel on it), has the G6's panel, of which is a more refined version of the G5. Slightly better color volume, better brightness, and more importantly, the newer processor, of which basically eliminates any color banding and posterization issues, of which the G5 still has in some specific scenes. Now, the C6H won't be as bright as the G6, obviously, but it should be a very good chunk of the majority of the G5's brightness. My guess is at least 2000 nits on the C6H. So, if you can save up for at least the 77-inch C6H, then I highly urge you to do that, as that specific oled is, imo, going to be the absolute best oled for the price for this year and likely for the next couple of years. The 77-inch C6H, for reference, shouldn't cost much more than a 77-inch G5. And it could potentially cost less once discounts start to hit it throughout the year. But, if a 77-inch is not the size you're looking for, and you want to go smaller, then absolutely just save for the G5. I'd say G6, but it would be quite a bit more expensive. But, if it is something you could save for then yea, the G6 will be even better, and you'd get a more refined panel and much better processing than the G5. One last thing to note here is that the sizes below 55 inches do not use the same panels. This goes for both the C series and the G series. The sizes below 55 inches are significantly less bright and less colorful than the larger sizes. The C series actually gets less bright than the B series at the smaller sizes. That's how much you lose going less than 55 inches. The same applies for the monstrous 97 inch size of the G series. Although, that's obviously not in the budget anyway, as it's 25k, lol. It's also obviously not worth anywhere near that amount even if you had that kind of money. So, yea, stay away from the B series unless you dont watch much hdr and mainly watch it in a completely dark room. The C series is fantastic, but, I only recommend it to anyone who doesn't watch a ton of hdr content and/doesn't have the money for the G series. I also will be reccomending the C6H over the g series to basically everyone now, as i believe it to be the current best deal oled on the new market. Lastly, the G4 is basically just a slightly brighter C5. It is not worth it anymore. Only look at the G5 or G6 if you can save for those. C5 if you want to budget yourself more. And C6H if you are looking for a 77-inch or 83-inch size and want the best picture quality without having to spend G6 prices. Sorry for the long response, but I hope this helps.

Also Vs lg C5 the colour volume was lacking a little bit. - c9k has noticeable better colour volume (I did not see noticeable differences Vs C5) has +80% of dimming zones compared to c8k but still you can see some clouding in very dark scenes with lighter detailed sections.

What you saw in the store was most likely just "Store Mode" with heavy motion smoothing turned on, or a badly compressed YouTube stream. In real world use, LG’s processing handles low res content and sports bit better than TCL. Plus, since your room is dark, the Oled contrast will look better. For gaming on a PS5 Pro and PC, the C5 is a great choice and well worth the extra $150.

So I would have to change the black level settings every time I changed between 120 hz and 144 hz. G6 is much brighter and obviously is far better than C6. But I think the real deal for you should be the size of the TV. Personally, if given an option, I would opt for 65 inch C6 rather than 55 inch G6 if 65 is the right size for me. Reflection handling with G6 is better than C6. If you plan to use the TV with limited ambient light in your room, you could go with C5/C6. You can even look for deals on C5 and G5 if they are available around.

It might seem like a red flag but I’m choosing to ignore it and do what I’m telling you. Do you get it? G6 (and G5) have the quad layer panel and it makes a really big difference. Worth paying, if you can afford the extra price. (I have in my living room 65" Philips OLED910 from last year with same LG panel as the G5 and its absolutely brilliant).

A warning about the LG C5: I have a 65 LG C5 LA model something and the remote (scrollwheel) broke down after about 5 Months of normal use. Landed in the traschbin. This remote is made by the Devil himself. No Play, Pause and Stop buttons, no Mute button, and some more shit. To Play/Pause/Stop use the scrollwheel, almost every thing: use the scrollwheel. There is a Netflix button + some more streaming buttons. Lot of place for more buttons but no. Sorry for my bad English - I'm from Sweden.

I do like the thin bezel compared to Samsung. The c5 is noticeably more expensive than CS5, watching movies would be nice but yeah gaming is the priority. I thought HDR10 is also widely supported? especially for downloading media. I think I’ll go with Samsung for the gaming plus if I want to relocate to a brighter room.

The C5 blew the B5 out of the water in terms of image processing and picture quality. The motion handling was better too. So I can imagine for you going from B5 to a C6 was night and day. You say SDR looks good on it? Have you tried the AI HDR Remaster feature?

That tcl is good for micro lcd, but no lcd can compare to the picture quality of Oled. Plus the instant response time of the technology itself is far superior for motion clarity in both sports and gaming which seems to be your (and mine) exact use cases. I have several OLEDs in the house and bought a tclqm7k last year. I regretted not getting another Oled and told myself then I will never buy anything else again until future superior tech comes out.

Until the power board fails 5 months in, so had to buy a c5 which I wish I just went with as had a c1 for 5 years and not a single problem. But wanted qd panel which is amazing, and once my s90f is back from repair will make my mind up, but the Samsung does have known issues on early s90f which I didn’t know and don’t even know if mine is early as can’t turn it on and unlike lg who has the build date on the back.

LG's OLEDs have been consistently great for gaming with excellent motion handling, low input lag, and solid HDMI 2.1 support across multiple ports. For movies, the picture quality is fantastic too, especially with Dolby Vision content. The S90D is also a great TV, so I don't think there's a bad choice here. But if I had to pick one for a mix of gaming and movies, I'd personally go with the C5 because it feels like the more well-rounded option.

r/4kTV · upgrading to best lg tv, which OLED actually holds up? B lowest tier - C mid tier - G top tier. Number is second digit in the year so C5 is the C model from 2025. Then they have various second letters like B6E which seems to be this years lowest entry model and C6H which is I think only available in 77” & 83” and uses a different panel then regular C6. Brightness is probably the biggest visual difference so brighter the room the brighter the panel you will want. So if you are in a dim basement a B will probably be fine, if you are on a main level with some sun probably want a C and if you get direct sun probably want a G. Other stuff is like faster processors for upscaling and other feature sets are also a difference. Watching in the store non demo content that is needing upscaling I can see the difference between processors because usually during motion stuff like grass stays more grass like less blob like, TV people can probably pick up a lot more. Currently C5 are on the way out since last year’s model and seem like the best value. I’m looking for my basement and I’m trying to decide if a 77” B6E is enough since that’s the one in my budget but my eye keeps comparing it to C5 and Samsungs S90F and wanting those, they are brighter, handle upscaling better which my eye likes. Problem is basement isn’t ready and I would like to wait for Black Friday or later in the year when those TV’s will no longer be available.

r/4kTV · Mini LED vs OLED TV for Gaming As someone who’s owned both a mid-ranged OLED (a80k) and now an upper-midrange mini led (Bravia 7 mk1) I think you’ll be happy with either. However, from your description of your space, an OLED will be ideal since brightness won’t be a big issue (even now though high end OLED tvs can get super bright. If burn-in is a big concern then consider a couple things - how often do you upgrade your tv? If it’s every 3-5 years then I wouldn’t worry. Secondly how wide is your seating arrangement? Personally I find blooming high end minileds almost non-existent when watching dead-on or even at some decent angles these days (I find the new TCL C8L or whatever NA call it to be particularly impressive in this regard). There are other things to consider like pixel response time being far superior on an OLED and I saw someone else mention VRR flicker, so maybe do some homework in that regard. Current recommendations would be Samsung s90f/s95f (depending on which panel your region has for s90f based on the size you’re looking at getting, if the size you want has a woled I’d just get a c5), lg c5 (or g5 since it has a heat sink which should help a bit with burn-in concerns) TCL c8L or c8k if you can get a good price, and maybe Hisense u8q. Sony tvs for me have been great for watching content and casual gaming but lack more than 2 hdmi 2.1 ports even in their newest tvs so if you play more than 1 platform it might get annoying switching hdmi cables around.

The larger 77" and 83" TV's (named C6H in most countries) have the upgraded Tandem OLED panels which are included with G5, and G6 models. Neither will work well in brightly lit rooms with direct sunlight which is where the QM8k and other high NITs tvs really shine. Heck even my older 6 series TCL was better than the C7 in direct sunlight. The C7 absolutely rocked though when watching movies at night, which is probably why I'll move that into the bedroom when it comes time to replace it in the LV, assuming that its still working. Now if we are talking LG G6, then thats a whole different league. Thats about as bright an OLED as you can get but at a pretty premium of $3k USD. I can't sink that much $ into a TV.

For Netflix etc you do see the much more improved performance. I have my G5s on order so can’t comment on that and hopefully soon. But if you have g5 money do it!

Have a b5 for a few days in a slightly lit up bedroom, even with one window across it in the bedroom its a NO use tv until evening, its worse than my 7 year old tcl led it replaced, cant see anything but window light reflection and myself at 100 % brightness. And its not even direct sunlight, this is with blinds down all the way (not blackout blinds) After 8pm its a beauty from another world. I am not gonna trust C5 for this too, i just think these glossy oled panels to be any good in any light. But by good they are beautiful at night I am gonna get me some blackout curtains and see how it does, im sure it would be great otherwise its going back and im back to mini led again

If brightness is still an issue, go 85 tcl qm9k for 2k/qm8k for slight cheaper. TCL will excel in brighter rooms and gives you vibrant color with great cinema quality.

r/LGOLED · Did I waste my money? C4/C5 I’m considering it, swapping them that is. I bought it three days ago and they have a month window to return. As for warranty the C4 has a 1 year warranty from LG starting at the day of purchase. I imagine the C5 will have that as well. Walmart offered a warranty for $99 for the C4 but I don’t remember how long it was. A whole bunch of people are saying those HDR game optimizer issues are long gone and nonexistent now

So I decided to order the c7k when it arrived it was absolutely terrible the colour cooked washed out and then when you change the settings it looked oversaturated. When watching non HDR content the processing was terrible didn’t make a difference, then I returned it and got the LG C5 its was sooo much better the colour were more nature the image quality was sharper the image processing if non HDR was much better only thing is it isn’t as bright but you can make it brighter to 100% at the cost of possible oled degradation but it’s worth the price

r/LGOLED · Doubts about my 55in C4 The C4's strength is not in it's brightness, but in its picture quality, motion handling, response time, image upscaling and quality of build. Roku, TCL, Hisense, and even lower tier LGs that rely on different kinds of back lighting will over saturate and over brighten the picture to help deal with bright rooms and reflection glare. Depending on what you want out of your TV, this could be good or bad. I have a 42" C3 as my gaming monitor on my PC and a 65" C5 as my main. I absolutely love both of them. They are in my basement and I haven't many bright sources of reflection to deal with. I dig my 4k HDR content so I love the true blacks without blooming, no trails for fast moving scenes and it does nice work with my old DVD collection.

I really like my OLED and watch it a ton but the mini-led gets noticeably brighter and blacks are very very close. Colors look a bit better on the OLED but not blowing it away. If I decide to get another TV in the near future and go bigger it will for sure be a mini-LED (probably RGB or similar). For the price I really wouldn’t go OLED just because it looks slightly better in some situations.

Setting TV to have more brightness means higher chance of burn in, especially if you watch content that is stationary for hours. Oled TVs demand shifting to different content/pictures in order to not get a burn in. Technology is certainly better now, but I wouldn't risk it leaving it on some news channel for more than like 2 hours. For what I saw there is more risk from dead pixels now days on oled tvs, which is imo even worse.

Honestly they both look great (LG a bit better), but you should also consider how much do you plan using the tv because the mini led longevity and oled longevity are different. Mini-led are more durable and the factor of burn in or dead pixels are close to 0. The chance's are that the lg will in like 3-5 years of use have some deal pixels or burning in. Also if you have a chance to see it in a store consider U8Q from Hisense, also a well rounded tv for the price with more or less great quality compared to the 2 TVs you listed.

If you’re coming from an older LED/LCD, a good modern mini-LED is going to feel like a massive upgrade. If you’re already used to OLED, then moving to mini-LED can be more of a tradeoff. You gain brightness and daytime punch, but you may notice blooming or weaker blacks at night depending on the model. The second question is how important the budget difference is. The C5 is an excellent TV, and saving $300 is not nothing. For mostly movies and general YouTube, especially at night or in a controlled room, I’d be very comfortable with the C5. That said, with a window across from the TV, even without direct sunlight, I’d at least consider a good mini-LED if the room is used a lot during the day. I own both an OLED and a mini-LED, and they serve different roles: OLED is perfect in a dark room, while mini-LED is better when you need brightness and punch in a brighter space. So my simplified take: Darker room = LG C5. Brighter room / daytime viewing priority = good mini-LED. If you’re OLED-curious and the room isn’t blasted with light, the C5 is probably the safer overall pick.

In some videos I noticed terrible flickering, it doesn’t happen often, but when you notice it, you can’t unsee it. The biggest flickering I’ve seen so far was in the last of us 2 (hillcrest) hdr 4k video on youtube. Believe me, I tried literally everything to remove it, but it didn’t help. I even downloaded the game on pc, and unfortunately, the flickering was very noticeable in the game as well. I’ve had terrible artifacts in re4 remake, but they might’ve been fixable(I’ve uninstalled it really quickly).In pragmata, saros and diablo 4 no issues at all(in terms of visuals). But TV sometimes loses hdmi signal when I use 120hz(I will try a different cable, but on 60hz no issues). I thought my unit was faulty and ordered another one, it was as bad as mine. Unfortunately, I couldn’t return it because of the shitty seller, but it is what it is. It’s not terrible TV by any means, blacks are really good tbh(almost oled), 4k mostly looks really good, gaming is great(but sometimes you can see black smearing), audio is fine(at least for me), but I wish I had grabbed Samsung qe s90f or LG C5.

Between the two LGs, it literally comes down to a more flush/slim wall mounted design with a slightly brighter screen (G4) or a more ordinary distance from the wall when wall mounted and not as bright screen (C5). Both are great but personally don't see the magic remote being a big enough reason to exchange the one you already have, it's your money though.

But for sport the QM7L may actually have better perceived motion. LG's motion interpolation sucks at football for some reason. Hence the blurring and sometimes ball ghosting. The colours also take some getting used to.
