Agree, but I think Sheridan assumed the audience would forget that camera was there. Or he forgot himself because he’s not the most detail-orientated writer.

Or a random Bentley parked in the neighborhood, and a Ram 3500 dually parked on the same street a couple hours later. With a big yellow Y (Yellowstone Dutton Ranch) on the side. Totally normal in that little neighborhood.

ring doorbell lasts more than a month on a battery even during winter months, summer months even longer. there r settings that might drain your battery faster, so its up to you how you set it up

The only issue I've had with eufy was the battery dying on me to the point it cannot be recharged. The whole thing became unusable. It has happened to people before myself included. I will caveat that the model I had was the cheaper one that doesn't allow the battery to be changed/ taken out. If you are going for a wired model or one with swappable batteries will avoid the issue. Overall, eufy experience was fine. The battery does drain a lot quicker than ring I found. The Ring app is a bit easier to use IMO. For us right now our old ring doorbell does what we need. We don't need the subscription and is just effectively a doorbell. If you're going eufy don't go with the cheapest would be my recommendation

I have the 2nd gen Ring doorbell and have never had an issue with it. The battery lasts probably 3 months. I have it set that it only detects motion in the front garden, though it will still detect a bin lorry or big van passing. The yearly subscription is €40

> If I had one of these doorbells my main AP would be close enough for 5ghz. The Ring Pro and Ring Elite have 5ghz. I've installed a few hundred ring doorbells so far and haven't ever been able to use 5 ghz for the connection. In an ideal world it would be nice, though. > The Ring Doorbell and Doorbell 2 both have batteries, and they claim if you don't have too many motion detections it will last months. Honestly have never used the battery portion of the ring video doorbells I have installed so completely forgot it was an option. I have corrected my OP.

I have two APs with 5ghz, one on each side of the house. I have to do this to even get good enough coverage for 2.4ghz. If I had one of these doorbells my main AP would be close enough for 5ghz. The Ring Pro and Ring Elite have 5ghz. The Ring Doorbell and Doorbell 2 both have batteries, and they claim if you don't have too many motion detections it will last months.

> either selling your data now or later. It's just trying to reach a critical mass. I have one of the ring doorbells, and I had to put a wifi repeater right below the doorbell. TP Link had a good repeater that actually physically connected to my router so it wasn't so bad, but i'm not paying the monthly fee to store data. I'll just put another camera on the door and nvr it.

I’ve had a ring doorbell and floor camera and wouldn’t recommend this one. I pay for the subscription or whatever but it can be very spotty. For example, FedEx can come drop off a package and in theory it should start recording the moment it detects motion but more times than not it will start recording as our delivery guy is walking away from my camera and there’s been a handful of times it never even recorded or notified me that there was any motion to begin with. Needles to say I’m also looking for a better security camera system lol

This is why I changed my Ring doorbell for a Reolink IP one. Local, no subscription and all the features. I was so sick of the changes with subscription, the price hikes and the bloody missed notifications.

I was thinking the same. I bought a Ring Doorbell Camera and now it's useless after a year. I'm looking into a docker solution for my server running UNRAID OS. I want an all wireless design since I don't want to run cables at all. I think some systems can send over FTP to my server. Otherwise other solutions on my docker would require wired

Critiscise but be fair. Lol. Come up with a differe t reason, because most of the spinoffs hve been in the pipine and detailed budgeted way before they scraped season 6 of yellowstone and decided to call it quits.

The only thing they got right is a Landman being $500k in debt and an alkie. The part they got wrong about THAT situation was the ex-wife was even decently pretty.

When they showed that footage of the NOLA NYE attacker loading his truck two miles away from an AirBnB the guy wasn't even staying at a day and a half after the attack, I laughed at how adamantly people defend this gaping plot hole.

I wish instead of fixating on every little detail people just realized it was a tv show and not real life. Very simple if you don’t enjoy it just turn it off. I did enjoy it and continued to watch.
