Roborock Qrevo Master

r/Roborock · Returning my Qrevo Curv After 2 Weeks Of USE, 50 Sessions + - Honest Review I tried Master and Pro and kept the Pro as I did not observe meaningful cleaning difference. “Performance is great” is relative. All Roborocks released last year are much better than my 3 years old S5 Max, but are they much better than each other? See Jamie Andrews’ reviews on Youtube where he tests vacuuming and mopping using a standardized approach. There is minimum difference in cleaning performance between Pro, Master or Curv at the end of the day. So, I believe Jamie instead of paid Roborock reviews.
r/Roborock · Returning my Qrevo Curv After 2 Weeks Of USE, 50 Sessions + - Honest Review I see zero reason to pay over $1000 for Curv/Master when Qrevo Pro offers similar performance at half the price. I might pay over 1k if it comes with much better object avoidance (doesn’t eat cables/socks), better carpet cleaning and actual proper AI features such as adaptive cleaning not only based on floor type, but based on actual floor dirt/dust level. Instead of doing aggressive marketing and free product reviews for mediocre features such as a half baked voice assistant or a camera surveillance, Roborock should improve the actual autonomous cleaning performance. I can live without “Hey Rocky”, but I do not want to search for a robot that is stuck somewhere in the house because it ate another cable. I am ok doing this at $600 price level, but not over 1k.
r/Roborock · Returning my Qrevo Curv After 2 Weeks Of USE, 50 Sessions + - Honest Review Roborock’s AI powered fake comments or tech addicted consumers who are trying to justify their purchase call is the best. In reality, a Curv or Master is perhaps 2% better than a Qrevo Pro. It fails on object avoidance and nobody should pay those prices.
r/Roborock · Returning my Qrevo Curv After 2 Weeks Of USE, 50 Sessions + - Honest Review Exactly my point. If Curv or Master achieve about the same level of cleaning performance as a Qrevo Pro (lousy carpet vacuuming and good hard floor cleaning), then why would I spend twice the money to get lousy object avoidance? As someone working in tech, I know that bringing meaningful innovations every year without causing reliability issues is difficult. However, Roborock marketing team releases 6-7 products every year, jacking up the price without offering anything different cleaning performance wise and then reverts to marketing to sell the new product. I’d rather have a proper object avoidance instead of half-baked voice assistant (hardly a must have for a robot vacuum cleaner) or obstacle climbing (didn’t need this in any of the homes I owned over last 20 years).
r/Roborock · Returning my Qrevo Curv After 2 Weeks Of USE, 50 Sessions + - Honest Review Independent reviews show maybe 2% vacuum improvement, which was in line with my experience. I have no pets, maybe that is a factor? Qrevo Pro and Master are both much better than Eufy X10, which even struggles on hard floor. As a privacy professional, I don’t like Roborock’s privacy policy, so I will never turn on a live camera feature even if I had pets. Same with the voice command.

r/homeassistant · What's your TOP PICK for the best Robot Vacuum Mop today? The lidar mapping is definitely one of the coolest features coming from a 2015 era vacuum, watching it map out most of my floor in seconds and finishing up everything within minutes was so interesting to see real time, compared to my old one that mapped out the floor by bumping into everything over the course of an hour

r/RobotVacuums · Which one to choose? Waiting for Black Friday deals If you care about excellent obstacle avoidance, think Eufy, Dreame, or Narwal. Hot water is for cleaning the mops, not for cleaning the floor, and reviewers have said that it doesn't seem to make a difference. It's also another thing to break so I wouldn't buy something based on that "feature." I would stay away from ecovacs, based on reviews. Eufy x10 pro omni is great if you don't have much carpet (it is weaker on carpet pickup for shallow and deep pickup) but is otherwise a high performer. The master probably isn't worth 300 more than the qrevo S, but you do get side brush and side mop, which may be worth it for some people. If you are thinking of L40, perhaps consider X40 since its navigation may be better.

r/homeassistant · What's your TOP PICK for the best Robot Vacuum Mop today? I have the Qrevo Master too. Got it as an upgrade when my S7 Max V died and it's a fantastic upgrade. I especially love how easy the mop tray is too clean vs the Max V. I got it for £800 too so I was very happy with that price for the capabilities.

r/RobotVacuums · Is there a consensus here on the best vacuum cleaner? Dreame X40/L40 Ultra or Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra I bought an X40 refurb from Dreame's eBay store for 799. It was literally brand new, as they said someone returned it unopened, which has usually been the case with others on this forum. But the important thing is that with kids, my house is constantly messy: a bunch of socks here and there, jackets on the floor, shoes at random places, under the couches, and in general chaos. But with Dreame x40, I just set it and forget about it; I never had to unclog/unblock it, and my floors feel nice. One thing I am learning is that with excellent obstacle avoidance comes great responsibility - Onion peels in the kitchen can get misrecognized as dog poop, so there is that versus going over it. My earlier Roborock Master, every run I had to unclog a sock or a lace or a cable. It was just frustrating.
r/RobotVacuums · Is there a consensus here on the best vacuum cleaner? Dreame X40/L40 Ultra or Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra Yeah, I had the Qrevo master. It works for many folks, but for me, it did not. The hair in my home got the brush tangled a few times, so there is that; then, I had to keep intervening in every run, which ultimately became frustrating. I would assume a house hold which is reasonably obstacle free so you don't have to keep intervening might be better for the Master, for me it was just difficult. X40 cleaning is okay, but it has a bunch of other shortcomings that I decided I can live with because I am less frustrated overall.

r/RobotVacuums · Are most of the robot vacuums (under $500) with rotating cleaning pads really crap, unless they have a AI feature? You need to realize that these testers are most probably using the default settings. If one turns off these AI features and turn up the other settings, they do really well. The key is not to use the nonsensical AI or other automatic features based on primitive, cheap sensors. The bigger problem is that if a robovac has a modern mopping system with either spinning or roller mops, there is no longer enough space inside the device for a proper vacuuming system. Since these new mopping features came on the market in 2025, no robovac can vacuum well anymore. They do fine on hard floors, but are all collectively mediocre on rugs and carpets. The Qrevo Master actually cleaned very well on higher, non automatic settings. Too bad it is no longer available. I would buy one now over almost any newer model. I would buy two of them today if I could. Mopping is entirely dependant on proper vacuuming first. Without this, mopping is relatively pointless with any robovac. I use older models with vibrating pads for all of my vacuuming because they significantly out perform anything newer. I do not use them to mop. From there, I use a pair of newer models with spinning mops for all of my mopping. This is the only automated solution I have found that can properly clean my floors. I have been disappointed by many newer, fancy models no matter how much they cost! They just cannot vacuum well. Good luck! I hope this helps!

r/Roborock · Share Your Real Reviews & Expectations — Win a Saros 20! ✨ I have been a Roborock fan since my first s7+ in 2021. And I started telling everyone about your vacuums. Ot really freed up a lot of my time because I was having to get our big plug in vacuum out and vacuum at least twice a day to keep up with all the hair. I moved on to s7 maxv, then original Q Revo, Qrevo Maxv and finally Qrevo master. I absolutely love the Qrevo master. We have 3 dogs and it was great at keeping the floors clean and did great on the carpets with the double roller. It's pretty much at the end of its run so I tried the Curvx. The mopping was good but something about the new duo divide brushes just didn't seem to work well with our dog hair and it picked up half as much on our throw rug. I ran the master right after the curvx and the bin was filled with hair. So I moved on and tried the Roborock Saros 10R..The object avoidance worked great for me, the mopping was fantastic and I loved the machine but the vacuum part was still a little lacking for our pet hair. We have 2 Australian Cattle Dogs and 1 Beagle and their hair gets kind of gummy and sticky. The dual rollers are great for that but I can tell our Qrevo master is on its last leg. I ended up sending the Saros 10r back because the vacuuming just was still not as good. It was leaving a lot of hair behind on 3 passes. Maybe I had a defective one, I don't know. I am excited and eager to try the Saros 20. I am hoping the increased suction will finally solve the hair pick up problem for me. And the improved mopping looks promising. So I am willing to give it a shot. I want it to work because from what I have seen I think it looks great and it SHOULD finally work on my dog hair for the first time since the Qrevo Master. I truly hope it does. If it does not I just hope my Qrevo master holds out until I get one that vacuums the way I need. My main wish for future vacuums is to have the technology of the Saros 20, the spinning mops, but have an option for dual rollers. You still have some dual rollers but that is for more basic models. Having them available with the a flagship and it's fully automated dock would just be perfect. Even if it has to be a more stripped down flagship like the different models of the Curv.

r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations from a Robot Tester Haven't tested the Qrevo Master, but it has the same brush rollers as the S8 Max V so it should do well on carpets. From what I can tell, it has the same obstacle avoidance as the Qrevo Curv, which did poorly in our obstacle avoidance test. Another model I haven't tested but may be good for you is the Qrevo Slim. It seems to be the same brush rollers, but with a similar obstacle avoidance system to the Saros 10r, which did much better.

r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations from a Robot Tester I’ve found a qrevo master for ~$600. We have a husky and a toddler, mostly hardwoods and some rugs. I think obstacle avoidance and corner cleaning is important for us and this particular machine at that price may be the ticket. Thoughts?

r/Roborock · Roborock Saros 10R and Eufy Omni e28 one week review Thanks! The robots help keep our house clean and we rarely need to do formal vacuuming. Re the sq ft unit setting, are you also in the US? Where do you find the unit setting? I also have a S8+, and the setting is called "unit' in "More Options", but the same setting does not exist for 10R in my app. Re the vacuuming performance, yes I read on this sub that S8/Qrevo Master are the best at vacuuming due to the double roller design, so I got a S8+ for the attic which is entirely carpet. It's a great update from Roomba i7+, which takes a long time to vacuum and sometimes can't find its way back to the dock. For our main floor, we don't need great vacuuming performance, but would benefit from better obstacle avoidance and less maintenance work, so I chose 10R. But I did hesitate between 10R, Curv, and Qrevo Master for a while.

r/Roborock · Returning my Qrevo Curv After 2 Weeks Of USE, 50 Sessions + - Honest Review So far using it 3 weeks... It made a ball of hair in the middle of the duo divide rollers 2 times and left it behind in the middle of the room so I had to grab the ball of hair and trash it by hand... But my girl has really long hair... 0.9 meter (measured). Flipping the robot upside down and checking rollers there was almost no tangle on rollers (1 hair only literarily) I previously had S5 max (every cleaning needed unstuck rollers). I highly recommend the Curv for anti tangle of hair... It makes much difference in cleaning... Especially when your floors are full of hair always.. If you dont care of hair... Go to Qrevo master or pro its exactly same in cleaning performance... except the 0% (0.5% in reality) hair tangling feature...

r/Roborock · Really Roborock? The s8 MaxV was never $2600 and quoting savings of $1100 is kind of misleading. Same craziness in Spain. r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours The s1 does objectively have the best mopping performance out of the robots right now. Maybe get one and see how the vacuum performance pans out and return it if it doesn't pick up debris. The QRevo Master/Curv as well as the Dreame L40/X40 perform very well on hard floors as well but they have the spinning mop type.

r/Roborock · Returning my Qrevo Curv After 2 Weeks Of USE, 50 Sessions + - Honest Review I returned the Curv and got the Master. The Master did a terrible job on the rug, worse than the Curv! There’s white dog fur all over the navy rug after it vacuumed on Turbo twice. I’m so frustrated and it leaves me wondering how it’s performing on my beige carpeting with the white dog fur that I can’t really see. Thankfully I still have my iRobot S9 but not grasping why Roborocks cannot perform vacuuming well.

r/Roborock · Returning my Qrevo Curv After 2 Weeks Of USE, 50 Sessions + - Honest Review I returned mine (the price was not good) and cords earing is annoying. It should be easy fixable with new firmware, will see. I like qrevo master - solid performance and has everything I need. Qrevo slim is a better option on paper as it's smaller. But it's only in black color, and I want a white one. Anyway, I'm waiting for Black Friday deals. If qrevo will be priced right - I'll buy it again. If not - master. Dreame L40 has a dissapointing obstacle avoidance (I have a brown-colored hardwood with dark spots and L40 detects them as obstacle, avoiding 20-30% of area), otherwise solid performance.
r/Roborock · Returning my Qrevo Curv After 2 Weeks Of USE, 50 Sessions + - Honest Review My experience is similar - I have a spot with 2 charging cords touching the floor. Curv is the only robot to suck them and jam itself (often mops detach when cables are wrapped around). It didn't happen with roborock S7, qrevo master, dreame L40.

r/Roborock · Returning my Qrevo Curv After 2 Weeks Of USE, 50 Sessions + - Honest Review I tried the Master and Pro as well and kept the Master. Might just be my carpet and rugs, but I saw a noticeable decrease in vacuum performance on the pro. The Master and Q8Max+ which I had before both have similar dual rollers, which I liked on the Q8 and was disappointed when moving to the Pro (thus why I tried the Master). The Master also gets you the RGB camera system which has been awesome for my pets (identifying them and being able to drive around and find them), but I know that’s circumstantial.
r/Roborock · Returning my Qrevo Curv After 2 Weeks Of USE, 50 Sessions + - Honest Review I have voice command turned off, mostly because I don’t care for the feature. But I do have three dogs and have found the dual rollers make a difference. I think it’s the rollers and not so much the suction difference. And maybe it’s just my rugs/carpet, I didn’t notice any difference between them on hard floors.

I have a Roborock qrevo master. Works well. Easy to 'deep clean' it (which you will have to do with any of them from my research). The "AI" is not that great, it can think a small leaf if animal poop and avoid it. It also will avoid shoes but occasionally get caught on the shoelace. But I suspect most of them would do that. I watched a lot of the vacuum wars YouTube channel amongst others to work out what I wanted. I love the lidar mapping of my home with the qrevo master! And being able to control it remotely (having the controls and the camera view,) has meant I've been able to drive it out of a stuck location and get it to resume the clean, it got caught between chair legs and a Duplo construction the kids had left out!! Expensive yes. Worth it - possibly. I enjoy it and it certainly gets a lot of muck off the floor that you didn't know was even there!
