jimbabwaer/RobotVacuums · Impressed with Deebot T80 Omni and comparison to Eufy E25 →2025-07-14
I am a couple days in of testing both robots as well (E28), bought during Prime Day, and absolutely share the same sentiment as you so far. I was hesitant to purchase the T80 a day after the E28 due to the mostly negative reviews on here regarding ecovacs, but thought I owed it to myself to test it as well. The T80 mapped, vacuumed, and vac + mopped so far without getting stuck once. The E28, however, got stuck just now on its first vacuum 4 times by getting tangled in small wires in my office. Watching the E28 vacuum definitely felt like it was way more aggressive in trying to clean around table/chair legs and carpets so much that it pushed them around and scratched itself up in the process. The E28 also can't fit under our cabinets due to the LIDAR sensor sticking up, but the T80 could. The T80 also did seem to be a little quieter on Standard compared to E28 Turbo, but is significantly more quiet on "Quiet" mode compared to E28 "Quiet" mode. I also agree regarding the mapping and room separation is better on the T80 vs E25/28 app. The Eufy app made so many rooms it took me a while to edit and sort them out, whereas the Ecovacs map was pretty good off the bat, and the map is much easier to modify and edit than the Eufy app. I'm about to try mopping with the E28 soon as well for comparison, but it will have to do wonders to have us keep it at this rate.

Same experience here. Bought the E25 and the T80 Omni and found the T80 to be much better in almost every regard. I didn’t have mapping issues that other reported though. Mopping is much better on the T80 than the E25

Ecovacs Deebot T80 Omni has been fantastic on carpet. Does much better than my LG vacuum. I paid $500 and was well worth it.

Dang, I bought the pro version of the t80 for a whopping $900 only last year and it's $600 now. It's exceptional, really does an amazing job of both vacuuming and mopping. Integrates well with HA. Highly recommend.

Own_View3337r/RobotVacuums · Ecovacs T80 Omni or Eufy E25? →2026-02-17
If mopping and object avoidance are priorities, the T80 Omni is the better pick over the E25. The E25 is fine for basic cleaning, but it’s not as strong overall. fwiw my mate and i usually double-check owner feedback on Redditrecs before buying, some links are affiliate and help fund the analysis

DrPoopyPantsJrr/Roborock · Roborock Saros 10R and Eufy Omni e28 one week review →2025-07-19
I share most of your opinions about the e28. I just posted a review myself comparing it to the ecovacs T80 Omni which I feel does a better job. I know everyone is gung-ho on the roller mop design but I think a good spinning mop vac is better than a subpar roller mop. I’m sure we will eventually get a roller or track mop option from Roborock and I expect it will be one of the best performers as Roborock typically is.

To me the T80 omni seems like a great allrounder, while it doesn't score "the best" in any category, it does score very well in every category, compared to flagships that may go near or below average (usually either carpet deep clean, mopping or battery life) In a mixed household where you need mopping and carpet deep cleaning it's great. It's also one of the "cheaper" flagships. It's always listed well below msrp. I do believe a midrange bot may give better bang for buck, but you'll compromise in other areas.

I wasn’t considering budget but narwal flow, mova z50 and dreame aqua 10 pro are some that we already know about. The roller tech is pretty new and I’m sure more and more brands will release their own roller options and improve the tech.

DrPoopyPantsJrr/RobotVacuums · Eufy E25 quick review →2025-07-11
I agree it leaves too much water behind. There isn’t much in the grey water tank after a run with the e28 I am using. I have also been testing the T80 Omni and on the contrary, it leaves a lot less water behind and there is much more dirty water in the grey water tank. The problem I am concerned with is ecovacs reliability and poor customer support. Yes it may work well now but who knows how it will perform in a few months. Even r/ecovacs seems to have a ton of negative comments telling people to stay away from their products. And on top of that, a lot of the positive posts and comments you find there are fake marketing accounts. So ya idk part of me just wants to wait until there are more roller mop offerings.. dreame, mova and narwal have some that should be hopefully released in the US soon. And I’m hoping we get one from Roborock too.

Jman841r/RobotVacuums · Best prime day roller mop <$900 - E25/28 vs T80 vs M14 →2025-07-08
I had both the E25 and T80 Omni. For me, the T80 Omni was better in almost every regard. Returned the E25 even though it was $200 cheaper when I got it. (Paid $699 for the E25 vs. $899 for the T80) I wanted to like the E25 more since it was cheaper, but it just wasn’t as good for me.

DatabaseDeep2448r/RobotVacuums · Help me decide - yet another Dreame X50 vs Roborock Saros 10R →2025-12-13
Mind you I still just ordered an x50 because my deebot t80 omni is on its second warranty in 7 months. They're all junk. Most Chinese goods are no r&d because the lack of copyright laws lets them just copy other products. Cheap mass production, poor distribution pipeline. Robot vacuums are shit. Either go reliable but it's stupid as fuck and just bounces off the wall. Or get something smart and unreliable. That's why the 5-year warranty makes it worth it because if I'm always waiting for warranty at least I have 5 years.

If you have hard floors, the T80 Omni is in a class of its own over the others for mopping.
