Mova Z50 Ultra

r/RobotVacuums · Track Mops vs Roller Mops vs Spinning Pads: Are the New ‘Real-Time Cleaning’ Robots Worth It? I have a mova z50 that I use multiple times a week, it does not require refilling the water tank daily I don't know where you got that stat from but it reads like a confirmation bias AI generated post. I've probably refilled it twice in the last month.

r/RobotVacuums · Dreame x50 vs Mova Z50 Hair management: Dreame X50 Ultra wins with fur compression. MOVA’s TriCut brush works great too. I have a long haired corgi and the TriCut brush works just fine with no tangles over 700 hours. Dreame’s dustbin is 395mL and MOVA’s is 300mL which is the same volume as the Dreame X40 ultra. I’d check how the dustbin is after every room for the first cleaning. You can run the Z50 to vacuum twice a day and mop once or even twice a day. TriCut doesn’t do as well for fur pickup on carpets compared to the dual brush on the X50 though. I don’t think both robots can get onto your shag rug and clean it well. True automation: Both robots have all in one base stations that autoempty, wash, and dry the mops. X50 cleans its own filter when autoemptying and the aceclean dryboard is easy to clean and cleans itself very well. The Z50 ultra has a removable mop pad cleaning tray, if I’m not mistaken. The Z50’s onboard dirty water tank will have to be cleaned but it also sprays the inside of the tank with clean water to prevent buildup. Maybe rinsing it once every two weeks would be good. Mopping: Z50 wins if you don’t need to mop super close to the edges. You can set the Z50 to shake its butt against the wall so the roller mop can get closer.
r/RobotVacuums · Help me choose: Eufy E25, Mova P20 Ultra, or Uwant U300? If your budget allows I’d check for the MOVA z50 ultra but there seems to be a docking issue with this robot. I’d check out the dreame Aqua 10 pro track too
r/RobotVacuums · How Can We ( Vacuum Wars) Catch Real-World Issues in Robot Vacuum Reviews? MOVA is a dreame subbrand so the firmware quirks are usually the same. How is the MOVA Z50 ultra?
r/RobotVacuums · Dreame x50 vs Mova Z50 I have a Xiaomi robot made by dreame that uses the same dustbin as the X40 ultra. This is how much fur it gets every morning. https://preview.redd.it/9edw1042217f1.jpeg?width=1600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=923a84c91ae678589d54fe338015c0071d0835ed I’d recommend buying the Z50 Ultra from JB HIFI or Harvey Norman and trying the twice a day routine for a week and see if the fur in the dustbin levels out. I think the suction level above normal suction should be fine. If the robot can’t handle it, I’d change to the X50 ultra or the L40S Pro Ultra.
r/RobotVacuums · Looking for a gift for my wife that can help her with house vacuuming & mopping Remove the ecovacs from your list. The app is horrific and is worse at mopping and vacuuming compared to the MOVA Z50 Ultra (worldwide launch April 10th) and the Narwal Flow.
r/RobotVacuums · Honest Dreame X50 Ultra (Pro) review - tl;dr included It even has an onboard turbidity sensor where it checks how dirty the roller mop is right before it gets scraped off so it can better coordinate with the cleaning algorithm. I wonder how the edge mopping on the Z50 Ultra compares to the Narwal Flow
r/RobotVacuums · Help me choose: Eufy E25, Mova P20 Ultra, or Uwant U300? However there’s also the z50 ultra that mops much better than the ecovacs with the only weakness for hard floors being the docking issue.
r/RobotVacuums · Dreame x50 vs Mova Z50 If you plan to manually clean the rug, just set the rug as a no go zone. I also recommend prewashing the mop pads in the washing machine in those lingerie bags. It seems streaking when mopping will happen if the chemicals from production aren’t cleaned off. Enjoy your robot mate
r/RobotVacuums · Dreame x50 vs Mova Z50 I’d recommend asking the Z50 ultra to clean carpets first or to set it to vacuum first and mop so the mop is dry when cleaning the carpets. I think it’ll be able to handle carpeted bedrooms fine but I’m not so sure about the shag rug.
r/RobotVacuums · Honest Dreame X50 Ultra (Pro) review - tl;dr included Just learned the Z50 Ultra is different from the Z5 Pro. Z5 has a mini mop for side cleaning, but Z50 Ultra has an extending roller mop that looks like it can do nearly 100% coverage. Even so, I think the mopping performance will be very similar. [ Z5 totally destroys the Ecovacs X8 Pro Omni](https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV19tktY2ErP/) [Ecovacs X8 Pro Omni, Z5, and G20S ultra (saros 10r) comparison review](https://zhuanlan.zhihu.com/p/10688480241?utm_psn=1860391779284684800&utm_id=0)

r/RobotVacuums · Want to return Eufy E28 for ECOVACS X8 Omni or Mova Z50 Ultra. Need advice :) The Roller on Z50 can Lift only a Bit, so small Parts glue on it. The V50 can disconnect the mobs and in all Tests the V50 doesnt clean worse then the E28. For me the important thing is warm water and the ability to move down the LiDAR Tower

r/RobotVacuums · Want to return Eufy E28 for ECOVACS X8 Omni or Mova Z50 Ultra. Need advice :) As I’d already had a Dreame, the Mova app is practically identical which I liked. Mova hoovering pick up was better. True edge cleaning. The eufy didn’t even track the wall straight! Eufy base was louder imo. Track pad mop is next level!
r/RobotVacuums · My experience with the Eufy X10 Pro Omni so far That’s not true, the bot could easily turn on the spot, as mine does! But rugs with floor perimeters confuse them!! It’s a nav/obstacle recognition fault imo!
r/RobotVacuums · My experience with the Eufy X10 Pro Omni so far The bots are designed to move on and off thresholds bigger than that rug! My Mova Z50 has a similar issue: where a rug has a floor perimeter and the bot gets confused AF!!

r/RobotVacuums · MOVA Z50 Ultra German Review It was great, and arguably a better mop on tiles than the Mova. However the Mova is better on vinyl planks. The app is much slower than the mova, but still good. Map had issues every couple of weeks it would like *tilt* my house? I'm not sure, but in 6 weeks I had to remap once already. For the price point (currently $999 I think) it would have to be the best mop/vac combo imo
r/RobotVacuums · MOVA Z50 Ultra German Review I have just bought this about a week ago. Swapped in my Philips homerun that I was not happy with. The clean genius function is worth it alone, it will automatically decide what level to vacuum and mop at, and if it needs to go back over an area a second time, or if it missed a spot due to an obstacle that may not be there. The mop is incredible with the auto fill detergent, my floors feel brand new every time it runs. The pet hair blade that this has has meant that I have not had to cut hair out of the brush once, which I have never had in a robot vac before. It's why I returned the Philips. I have 2x boys and 2x dogs and this thing spends a few hours in the mornings cleaning everything. It is yet to get stuck or have any navigation or obstacle issues, granted we are only a week in. I legitimately cannot find a fault in the machine yet. Maybe there being no spare mop pads?
r/RobotVacuums · MOVA Z50 Ultra German Review Funny you say that, yesterday my robot said the clean water was empty so I thought of your comment and thought I'd check the dirty water! It was at least 50-60% full, maybe more, so I'm here eating my words.

r/RobotVacuums · Dreame x50 vs Mova Z50 Thanks and omg the fur - I understand the struggle!!! My s5 maxx does keep up with the fur in the sense that the bin doesn't clog up nor the filter so I should be ok I hope. What drives me nuts about the s5max is that it gets tangles and it gets stuck and it can't do carpet and mopping in the same run. Speaking of which I'm hoping the z50 transition easily between the surfaces even though its mops can't be dropped off and the roller can't be raised that high. It was hard to find info on this and the x50 seemed better suited. I just saw the x50 win a few of the vacuum tests in some of the German reviews which made me initially hesitat on the Z50. But I agree I think I'll give the z50 a go. It's a shame we don't have the v50 here! Finally, I've read lots of your posts in this community and they are super helpful thank you so much!
r/RobotVacuums · Dreame x50 vs Mova Z50 3 year warranty though. L40s pro ultra another option? I wonder if chat will accept that screenshot

r/RobotVacuums · Skeptical after Vacuum Wars rankings. Best robot mop if budget isn’t an issue? The Eufy s2 only scored a 2.80 in the mopping score. The Narwal flow 2 also scored pretty poorly at 2.66 (however. apparently there was a software update that was not installed prior to testing). I was in a very similar situation to you where I was looking for the absolute best mopping robot with no budget (check my prior posts). I have a mostly tile home with a kitchen that easily shows stains. I settled on the Mova z60 ultra. I believe it is third on vacuum wars (3.66) behind the T90 pro Omni (3.90). Since everyone is recommending the flow 2 I’ll just tell you why I picked this over the flow. Compared to the flow 2 The Z60 has a higher downward pressure (12N vs 17N I believe) and it rotates the mop 30rpm faster. The flow 2 mops with 60 degrees hot water but once the water actually reaches the floor I believe it would be cold anyway. Whilst specs are not everything my experience with the z60 has been very good. Compared to my old Z50 which has the same track mop as the flow 2 with higher pressure (18N) and 30 degree mopping the Z60 performs significantly better. Maybe the roller (instead of track) mop is just more effective at removing stains? Whilst I may be inherently biased towards the Z60, my decision was primarily based upon reviews and experiences with the Mova Z50. If I were you I would get either a z60 ultra (or the newer z70 ultra) or the T90 pro Omni. If you live in a country with good consumer protection laws I wouldn’t bother researching too much as it drove me absolutely crazy sorting through all of the paid reviews. Just try one of them out.

r/RobotVacuums · Dreame x50 vs Mova Z50 Hey mate, sorry for the late reply. On the first day, water leaked, and I think it happened again a couple of days later. People were saying it’s got a good mop because of the roller, but I didn’t like it, so I decided to go with the X50 instead.

r/RobotVacuums · MOVA Z50 Ultra German Review I returned my Z50 Ultra and for a replacement due to it not being able to dock after 8 days of owning it, so get so good with the new one ,10 days in so far. It is hands down the best robo vac I have owned, can't fault anything with how it cleans.

r/RobotVacuums · How Can We ( Vacuum Wars) Catch Real-World Issues in Robot Vacuum Reviews? Yeah I guess I was hoping some of those quirks didn't get carried over. The unit itself has been ok. I ran into a docking issue in the first four days and had to return the unit. It had issues docking but fixed itself then it just got worst where it was charging but saying it wasn't docked at the same time. In terms of mopping performance, this was something I was excited and interested about for the Z50 ultra. I have always been using the rotating mop vacuums, last being the Qrevo Edge. I cannot say that it has been game changing for my uses. I don't use my robot vac to clean up spilt coffee (like ads show) but I'm sure it would do this better. Every day general mopping with two dogs, it doesn't seem to do clean up dried water spills near their bowls or saliva any better. I haven't used a clean towel to test the residual dirt. I did notice that probably due to the roller mop design, it is less prone to leaving marks behind on my tiles once dried. Obstacle avoidance, as you mentioned since it's Dreame sub brand, has been excellent. Way better than the Roborock. At the retail price of $2999 here in Australia, I would pass. I would rather get the eufy E25/28 at that price. But they dropped it down to $2000 on sale so I tried it out.
r/RobotVacuums · How Can We ( Vacuum Wars) Catch Real-World Issues in Robot Vacuum Reviews? A lot of the reviews run tests on flat even flooring with no grout or minimal grout. I found that some vacuums are not able to provide sufficient surface contact with the mop pads due to unevenness in flooring. I bought the Qrevo pro and the eufy omni x10 pro and both units left dry patches on my tiles. More recent robots don't have this issue but I'm not sure if it's just by chance the subsequent models I bought are different in the way they provide mopping pressure (Qrevo Edge and Mova Z50 ultra. I am not sure how you would be able to test this and provide some kind of metric but I think this would be handy to know. App/Robot quirks are also something that could be looked at. My Dreame X40 ultra and Mova Z50 ultra display the same nuances where if you remove a carpet and do a clean, the robot thinks its still there until it does its next map save/run. This meant that the area would not get mopped. Roborock and Eufy were able to adapt on the fly.

r/RobotVacuums · Want to return Eufy E28 for ECOVACS X8 Omni or Mova Z50 Ultra. Need advice :) The Mova Z50 Ultra is likely going to be similar to the E28, in that it's a new product with few independent reviews where it's difficult to understand what its drawbacks will be. It may be amazing, or not. I haven't seen enough evidence one way or the other yet. Are you in a rush? I get that you have to return the E28 very soon, but can you wait for a bit to see how the Z50 reviews go? That's what I'd recommend. If you're in a rush, and you've seen that the X8 fits the bill based on the reviews out there, I'd probably go with that. Not that I think the X8 is clearly superior; it's just that there should be no surprises left to discover, so you can evaluate it on its true merits, rather than just the marketing hype.
