Eufy X10 Pro Omni

r/RobotVacuums · I have a eufy x10 pro omni and I absolutely hate it, AMA Mediocre maga supporter? What the hell does any of that have to do with the fact that I don’t like a vacuum? First off I’m Australian, not american. Secondly I’m left wing, not that it should matter at all. I don’t like the vacuum because it does a pretty abysmal job at cleaning. It doesn’t actually suck anything up and just wipes it around instead. I thought it’d be fine for me as I keep my floors relatively clean anyway and it’s not like the vacuum is doing a super big job, just helping to maintain. But it doesn’t even do that. All it does is be loud and annoying, needy, and useless.
r/RobotVacuums · I have a eufy x10 pro omni and I absolutely hate it, AMA I actually did spill some crumbs from a bag of turkish bread. Just some sesame seeds. I left it there and watched the vacuum go over it. It literally just spread the seeds around and sucked up maybe 4 of the seeds in total.
r/RobotVacuums · I have a eufy x10 pro omni and I absolutely hate it, AMA I keep my floors relatively clean. I don’t bring in dirt or sand, if anything gets dropped on the floor it is tidied immediately, and I use a normal vacuum atleast once a week. I got this robot vacuum with the intention that it would help to maintain the clean floors. I didn’t intent for it to even do the whole job on its own. It barely sucks anything up. All it does in my experience is wipe and drag dirt & hair around. I cannot stress enough that my floors are not that dirty to begin with. This isn’t an issue on my end. It’s like the most basic stuff like random bits of dust or a few hairs that have fallen out of my head… it never actually gets picked up. Just moved elsewhere by the mop pads. Literally all it does is be loud and annoying for 2-3 hours of my day
r/RobotVacuums · I have a eufy x10 pro omni and I absolutely hate it, AMA Im starting to think it is. This is a 1700 AUD vacuum and all it does is frustrate me. All I hear is good things about it from others

r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 It has way better vacuum performance. It cleans carpets really well and that swiveling side brush enables it to clean in corners the x10 could never reach.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 I also prefer roller mops over spinning pads, so I totally get where you’re coming from. The roller mop on the E25 is basically the same concept you liked from the old Scooba or Shinebot but with way more pressure and constant dirty water extraction. It doesn’t smear and it really does suck up the dirty water in real time, so the floor stays clean after each pass. The base does a solid job washing and drying the roller. It uses warm air to dry it, and after a full cycle, the roller comes out completely dry and doesn’t smell, even after daily use. Compared to the X10’s spinning mop heads, I’d say the E25’s roller leaves the floor noticeably cleaner because of that constant suction and higher pressure. The spinning mops on the X10 work well too, but they do inevitably smear a bit before they get rinsed in the station. For your case (all tile, no rugs) the E25 is honestly perfect. The suction is strong enough for debris, and the roller mop does a great job with sticky stuff. If you’re already leaning toward a roller design, this one feels like the best option right now, especially at the current discounted price.

r/RobotVacuums · NEW #1 on the Vacuum Wars Top 20 Best Robot Vacuum List - And Other Updates!! Since you're always looking to evolve the testing with the bots, here's a few ideas: - Synthetic obstacle course: I know you use a room setup, but there was another reviewer that had a series of overhangs at different heights to see how the bot reacted. The Eufy X10 for example is not cabinet toe-kick friendly -- an edge case where if there's a 90deg cabinet corner, the robot does the inverse navigation (creating a square) .. I suspect the LIDAR is detecting the cabinet and the bot lacks the logic to probe with the bumper for the overhang. - Performance Over Time: Performance once the vacuum has ran a set amount of cycles and how rapidly it drops off. Most reviewers are testing these things out of the box -- but how well are they performing after 40 hours equivalent? You could probably synthetically test by loading a fixed amount of fine particles that represent each "run" and measuring the drop-off, then add more, repeat -- the goal is to find the performance dropoff. - Exhaust Air Quality: Linked to the above, I've noticed some brands tend to start exhausting more dust when the filter gets filled.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Excellent write-up and my thoughts exactly after having one for 6+ months. They still haven't addressed the fact the bot uses the LIDAR and not the bumper to detect some things, causing it to avoid cabinet overhangs .. there are sections of my kitchen that it refuses to clean because of this ( I know because I put a piece of debris there and it hasn't been touched.), it will not go under the toe-kick because the LIDAR detects the cabinet, every other bot I've used (EcoVac, Roomba, RoboRock, Wyze, etc.) slows down and probes with the bumper for this scenario. Their latest firmware update added an option to be cautious or "medium" but it doesn't seem to change this. I also agree that it'd be nice for one manufacturer to push air through the filter in reverse to dislodge a lot of the dust when emptying the bin, it's probably one of the biggest contributors to rapid performance dropoff. That, or someone needs to try a cyclonic first stage (Dyson did, but everything else was lacking). I do think all of the RoboVac review channels need to add "longevity" to their testing regime (even if it's synthetic or brute-forced) as I find a lot of vacuums performance degrade rapidly after a few months, even with regular maintenance (consumables, etc.).
r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations from a Robot Tester Although this is an older post, I'd like to throw some suggestions in (I've owned 6+ vacs over many years and crossover expertise in related fields) on the testing of these things as there's some areas that often often go overlooked with reviews. RTINGS is my goto for other products, so I'm glad you are beginning to review these. - Navigation testing should incorporate various toe-kick and overhangs. Example: The Eufy X10/E25 comes to mind here, these vacuums don't switch to a "bumper probe" mode (careful mode), so in American kitchens with a ~4" toe-kick (cabinet overhang) high enough to let the body pass under but low enough for the LIDAR to hit it, the robot will take a wider path and not get fully into areas it can. This type of scenario is quite common and *most* manufacturers address it by the robot switching to a careful mode by having the robot slow down and test until the LIDAR bump sensor or front bumper sensor are tripped. Eufy is aware of the issue and says it'll be fixed *in future models* but no review highlighted this issue. - On-Bot Filter: Test how fast the on-board filter gets compacted with dust and hinders performance. You could do this synthetically with a dust substitute like flour. Everyone seems to test the robots near-new performance, few show the performance decay after 3/6/12 months of use, even simulated. I've had some bots that are incredible the first month, but drop off very hard even with new parts being swapped. Some get compacted filters after a couple cleans. - User Serviceability Testing: Analysis of availability of parts, manuals, instructions, and takedown procedure. Example: iRobot (prior gens, not sure of newer) is modularized and very user serviceable, a few screws and most parts are swapped. EcoVacs has one of the worst design paradigms for this, with some high wear parts being the first to go on the robot before 50 screws and a bunch of snap clips. - Analyze for potential future issues with design. This is something you'll get a feel for, but things like unsealed roller ends (Roomba), unsealed drivetrains/gearboxes (EcoVac), unshielded LIDAR arrays (Eufy X10, fixed going forward) and so much more are high failure potential. - Air Quality of System: How much dust is being spewed out by both the dock and the bot. I've seen some bots have surprisingly poor filtration. - App Features: Things like being able to see a photo of the obstacle detected and do localized retraining (ignore this, etc.) -- something iRobot allows for detected objects. Opposite side of the spectrum is Eufy, who removed this feature after the Eufy data leak. - App UI: Is it loaded with ads (the foreign companies seem to love this)? Does the map update every run or on specific runs? Can older maps be loaded from history (iRobot has great map control for the user). Does everything cease to function without internet? Some are okay as they store schedules locally, others go completely dumb/stop working.

r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 So glad at least one Manufacturer is FINALLY going to streamline the naming so that consumers have some idea what they're getting. I'm a very happy C20 owner and will stick with that for now - my budget ceiling was $400 which is why I didn't get an X10 last November, even though I considered it - but it's good to see that Eufy is consolodating their offerings, which will make it so much easier to choose a model next time we need to upgrade (we have 3 units in different parts of the house which are blocked by the layout of stairs/doors etc). One feature I am REALLY hoping will be added soon is the ability to deactivate the roller for certain kinds of rugs - they seem to detect the different surfaces well now, but for softer area rugs and things like Ruggables it would be fantastic if the roller can be turned off for those and only suction used. Here's hoping that's on a future feature list for the app soon!

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 pro omni vs Roborock q revo s (also the Roomba combo j9 and the Deebot t30s Just today posted my experiences with both of these. Ultimately I had technical issues with the Eufy which meant that I've switched to the Roborock. See my post here for more info: [https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1fla0f2/eufy\_x10\_pro\_omni\_roborock\_qrevo\_s/](https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1fla0f2/eufy_x10_pro_omni_roborock_qrevo_s/) However, you specifically mention the vacuuming. I don't have cats but I have seen no decreased performance in the Roborock vs the Eufy. In fact I'd say the Roborock seems to have improved vacuuming despite a lower suction rating (the rubber brush maybe??). There's really not much between them though in my experience. Roborock currently £520 vs Eufy at £679 in the UK (I'd bought my Eufy at £600).
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours I didn't have much of an issue with performance but it was the navigation and getting stuck issue that stood out for me with this machine. I sent two back for the same reason. I switched to a roborock qrevo s which has marginally less stated features but actually effectively and efficiently navigates itself around.

r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 Does it have better real word vacuum performance than the x10? My biggest issue with the X10 was it's mediocre vacuum pickup performance on hard floors.
r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 What about hard floors? Can it pick up small debris like cat litter in a single pass? My X10 struggled to pick up cat litter even with a clean filter and new brush guard. Speaking of the brush guard, is it more durable than the thin rubber on the X10?
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Check Rtings and the other reviewers I listed, they are pretty good resources. It really is hard to pick a robo vac especially out of the Roborock and Dreame offerings since they have so many Variants and Sub-Variants that it can make your head spin. Only the MaxV and Master variants from Roborock have camera based object avoidance, it seems like almost all the vacuums from Dreame from the L10s and above have camera based object avoidance. Right now the L10S Ultra is at a really good price of like $400 and based on the reviews I have seen its got basically the same features as the Eufy X10 with probably slightly worse object avoidance, but based on Rtings's review, it will actually be able to clean your hard floors unlike the X10. For me object avoidance was a key feature which is what really pushed me towards the X10 and at the time it really was the best at object avoidance. However now, with the new Roborock and dreame models, they are scoring just as good now albeit they are more expensive. It really is a bummer because the Eufy X10 on paper is an amazing value for the money, if only it actually could perform on hard floors. I hope Eufy does something to update this vacuum other than releasing the X11 eventually.
r/MOVA_robotvacuum · MOVA V50 Ultra vs Dreame X50 Ultra for the same price? V50 > X50. They are basically identical but the v50 has slightly better QOL features such as UV water disinfection which probably doesn't do much. Unless you absolutely need features such as threshold climbing and retracting lidar, I would just save my money and get the x40 certified refurb from dreame's eBay store https://www.ebay.com/itm/358554971565 Cleans as well, but isn't plagued by the bad battery life issues of the 50 series robots from dreame and Mova. Obstacle avoidance is about equal as well. I had two of them as a replacement for my Eufy x10s which I returned due to poor cleaning performance and navigation, they were significantly better and a great value for money in 2026
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Yeah well out of the price range. I believe the E30 ultra is equivalent to the Dreame l10S. It's a good performer, better suction than the Eufy X10, worse object avoidance though, equal mopping performance. I would say it's a well rounded vacuum, good at most things but not exceptional but good value for money. https://www.rtings.com/robot-vacuum/reviews/dreame/l10s-ultra I would compare the price of the l10S ultra and E30 ultra in your region. Purchase through a retailer like Amazon and avoid buying through the Mova/Dreame webstore as retailers have better return policies. There is also the Roborock Qrevo S: https://www.rtings.com/robot-vacuum/reviews/roborock/qrevo-s It has better vacuuming performance than the Dreame l10S ultra and Mova E30 but it comes at the cost of having a very primitive object avoidance system. If object avoidance doesn't matter much to you and you can keep cords and socks off the floor when you run your robot, I would get the QRevo S for its cleaning performance.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Yeah I warranty returned mine. Could be I had defective units but doubt two are defective. Also the brush guard material is really bad, it really shouldn't be a consumable item but the rubber gets mangled so quickly and then performance drops off a cliff.
r/Dreame_Tech · L40 Ultra poor performance My X40 thinks my rubber anti fatigue mats are cliffs and gets stuck on them. Good luck getting customer support to respond. My Eufy x10 could handle these mats just fine but this $1000-$1500 robot freaks out.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Yeah, generally doesn't have an issue traversing thresholds. I have a ~1/4" threshold that it is able to traverse.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Could be a bad batch or you aren't noticing that yours isn't doing anything. The reason I didn't return mine when I had a chance was that I was blinded by all the other good features of the vacuum that I neglected to pay attention to how much the x10 is actually picking up. Still going to put in a warranty claim and if Eufy replaces mine, I'll update my review.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours The dreame l10S ultra gen 1 and even the roborock Qrevo perform significantly better for the money. The only aspect they are inferior in is object avoidance but they are able to actually clean your home unlike the eufy and their app integration is significantly better. They are also roughly the same price and the l10S is actually cheaper than the x10 right now. There are a few people on here saying their x10 has been good, im curious if they could replicate my test with cat litter and see what results they get. There could be a chance both of mine are defective.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Good to hear that its working well for you. I have tried the robots on standard suction and it results in both of my x10s just pushing debris around. In general ive found the mopping to be great on the x10 along with the obstacle avoidance. In my experience the hair tanglement isnt horrible on mine. Wonder how yours will hold up. I was ecstatic like you when I first got it, and it stopped me from returning it but I should have paid closer attention to the performance of my x10 when I first bought it. Im going to try a warranty claim with mine and see if I can get both of mine replaced. Seems like the newer built X10s are better or atleast people are reporting they are better.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Interesting, mine was just pushing debris around in my kitchen today. I wonder if Eufy has done a hardware revision since I purchased mine.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Thank you. The cat litter test was done with a practically new filter. Eufy claims these parts should last 120 cleaning hours but they don't even last a few hours without clogging. My Wyze has no suction issues and I replace it's filter every other month. I also believe that the eufy filter is not part of a sealed HEPA system. Rtings tested both the Eufy x10 and Wyze robot vacuum. The Wyze is an actual sealed HEPA system, Eufy is not.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Just looking at Rtings, and the various reviews. The l10S looks like a good value right now at $400. There seems to be general consensus on the performance of the QRevo and Dreame between rtings and the various other reviewers, the x10 didn't have such a consensus with some reviewers raving over its performance and others pointing out its lack of suction/crevice pick up.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Dreame L10S Ultra first generation is on sale for like $400 on Amazon right now. I would say that is pretty much equal in features with the X10 and it scores better in Rtings testing versues the X10. The L10S Ultra 2nd Gen is also on sale and I think its the same price as the X10 right now. The RoboRock Qrevo S is also a good contender with even better cleaning performance than the L10s Ultra Gen 1 but the Qrevo S lacks a camera so its object avoidance may not be as good but still good enough for most people. Can't speak to the performance of the L10s ultra gen 2 but it has some good updates over the first generation like hot water mop washing.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours The Qrevo will be the much better product when it comes to actually cleaning your floors. Rtings testing shows much better performance from it. The only thing the x10 may have over it is object avoidance since the Eufy has a camera.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Yeah ive had the robot randomly resume cleaning during DnD mode a few times. This product looks good on paper but in practice its just really unrefined and half baked.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours I was pretty impressed by its performance for the money. It outperforms my X10 on carpet and hardfloors and is a trooper in the garage. If they sold a model with similar performance, mopping, auto emptying and object avoidance, I would buy one for sure. Bought mine when it was on sale at Walmart for like $100
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Same issues. The x10 on its own isn't sold in my area so when I'm referring to the x10, I'm referring to the Eufy x10 Pro Omni. I think the "Onni" refers to the base station.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours From what I've been seeing, they have similar if not identical vacuum systems. The x10 and Omni score similarly in the instrumented/controlled testing which implies they have similar systems.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Definitely not the x10. I have vinyl floors downstairs and the robot doesn't pick anything up.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours My floors are Vinyl/LVP/LVT downstairs. It still performs poorly.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Cancel it. I was trying to rationalize keeping mine because the object avoidance and mopping was so good but those features really don't matter if it cant actually vacuum my floors.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Yeah it runs right over some cords but then refuses to get close to my baseboards in some areas. Its pathing logic makes zero sense to me.

r/eufy · I've had my Eufy X10 pro Omni over a year, not once have I had to empty the dust bag It's kind of a mixed bag. I didn't change mine until like 6 months in because I thought it would advise me when it's full, but it doesn't really do that. The only time I've gotten a notification that said it was either full or blocked, was when there was an actual blockage on the vacuum not letting the station suck out the contents. I opened up the 6 month old bag and it had a giant compacted hairball and dust (2 cats here). So I decided to change it out about once every 2 or 3 months. Once the 3 months was up, I decided to rip the bag open to compare it to the 6 month bag and they looked and felt pretty much Identical. The 6 month bag was a bit heavier though. Apparently we're supposed to be changing these things out like every month officially lol
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy e28: One month review I currently have the X10 Pro Omni and have 2 cats, but I have to de-tangle it almost every couple of days because the hair/fur starts balling up around the brush despite having it on max suction and self emptying every 15 minutes (and it has that "Anti-tangle comb" where it spins the brush backwards to capture the hairs supposedly). I saw the E25/28 had new rollers that seem to actually NOT tangle. How has your experience been regarding that?

r/Roborock · Returning my Qrevo Curv After 2 Weeks Of USE, 50 Sessions + - Honest Review I was able to order this unit in September before it opened to the public on the official store. After having had the shark matrix, eufy x10 pro omni, samsung bespoke jet bot ai and qrevo master all since the summer I finally got a curv and its the best by far. The adaptilift allows it to cross thick mats and transitions that would hang up every other robot I've ever had. This mops far better than the others and even that giant jet bot ai couldn't mop as well. It and the eufy would lose their mops while vacuuming then show an error forcing me to trace their paths to find them. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but the qrevo curv is the best robot I've ever owned hands down. Roborock has released two firmware updates in the time I've had it. I'm actually thinking about buying a 2nd one and splitting the house between them.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Having the same experience with the Eufy X10 Pro Omni this week, it just does -not- have enough suction/bristle action to pick up, in my case, small particles like sand/kitchen salt. Sure it'll pick up most of it, but its leaving/scattering around at least 10-20% of those smaller particles it runs over. In vacuumwars review the front brush action is mentioned as not functioning great, and that's subsequently regarded as being nitpicky. I thought, thatll be fine for me then. But its not. Navigation/app/user experience/object avoidance and mopping work all really great, so much that I feel sorry to say that if a vacuum doesn't vacuum right, then I'll be returning it anyway.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours So I echanged the x10 for an L10s ultra heat which just finished mapping my room, can confirm a better pickup in the salt test and fine sand near the doors from outside

r/RobotVacuums · Which one to choose? Waiting for Black Friday deals If you care about excellent obstacle avoidance, think Eufy, Dreame, or Narwal. Hot water is for cleaning the mops, not for cleaning the floor, and reviewers have said that it doesn't seem to make a difference. It's also another thing to break so I wouldn't buy something based on that "feature." I would stay away from ecovacs, based on reviews. Eufy x10 pro omni is great if you don't have much carpet (it is weaker on carpet pickup for shallow and deep pickup) but is otherwise a high performer. The master probably isn't worth 300 more than the qrevo S, but you do get side brush and side mop, which may be worth it for some people. If you are thinking of L40, perhaps consider X40 since its navigation may be better.
r/RobotVacuums · Which one to choose? Waiting for Black Friday deals If your main concern is mopping, the Qrevo MaxV is probably a bit better. VacuumWars rates it #7 for best mopping, and the Eufy X10 pro omni is not in the top 10. That doesn't mean that the eufy isn't close behind, though. I wasn't able to find the mopping score for it on VacuumWars.

r/eufy · I've had my Eufy X10 pro Omni over a year, not once have I had to empty the dust bag So… Funny story. I had mine for almost 2 months. I didn’t understand why I had to keep emptying the vacuum itself and the bag was empty. I also kept getting voltage warnings. I replaced it at Best Buy. I learned afterwards I had never once heard it do its loud passing the dust into the vacuum bag. So my first one was entirely defective. Maybe yours is too. Does it make super loud noise when it goes back to base to empty itself?

r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations from a Robot Tester Heya, fellow RTINGS employee not-Justin here; Hmm, in regards to the models on your short list, I'd say the Ecovacs X8 Pro is a very good all-rounder: we haven't published the full review for that model (yet), but it does offer a good blend of debris pickup performance on bare floors and rugs, great navigation, and a fantastic roller mop system. That said, real-time hazard avoidance performance isn't stellar. Since you don't have pets, its mediocre hair-cleaning performance shouldn't be a massive deal. As for your other questions: 1 & 2. We've only really run one roller-mop unit through our test bench (that being the aforementioned Ecovacs DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI), but I will say that we were extremely impressed with its stain-clearing performance. That said, it's hard for us to generalize the performance of this kind of design when we're working with such a limited sample size. After all, we've seen a lot of variability in performance for spin-mop models too: the best (Roborock Saros 10R) are very good at dealing with stains, while others, like the eufy X10 Pro Omni, really struggle. We haven't found *that* much to complain about in terms of maintenance in regards to spin mops either; most of the mid-range to high-end models we've tested have pretty effective auto-wash and dry functions though you'll still need to clean a washplate every now and then. 3. Across those price categories, the biggest differences you'll see are better obstacle detection and avoidance performance. Hardware-wise, you'll likely see structured light sensors being replaced by RGB color cameras, though that's not universal across the board. Unfortunately, actual debris pickup performance is more of a wash across different price categories. Docks can generally get a little nicer too: one of the more common features you'll see on higher-end docks is hot water jets for better mop pad cleaning, though I wouldn't say dock *reliability* increases with MSRP (not that that's something we test for).

r/RobotVacuums · My experience with the Eufy X10 Pro Omni so far I think this room is just the perfect space for a disaster for this unit - The carpet is spaced so perfectly from the wall that this thing gets stuck. I set that room to vacuum only and it seems to have fixed it. Some other quirks were extremely loud bouts of vacuuming, it seemed like sometimes it would just barely mis-align to the dock and the resulting mop cleaning was quite loud. All of the issues I've had, googling turns up multiple people who had the same issues. I have 15 days to return it without any questions asked to BestBuy - I'm going to run it through some paces a few times and see if I can find a route and process that excels, if not, it goes back and I get the broom back out.
r/RobotVacuums · My experience with the Eufy X10 Pro Omni so far My entertainment center is of course the perfect height for the frame to fit under. But not enough clearance for the slightly taller lidar sensor on top. So if I set my carpeted room as no-go, it starts in the living room and gets stuck immediately. 4x in a row now. Did I miss some critical status mapping step? I’d assume it would “think” well fuck I can’t move there. I’ll just move in a slightly different adjacent path” but no it precisely gets stuck in the same spot over and over

r/RobotVacuums · My experience with the Eufy X10 Pro Omni so far You might want to engage Eufy support, or possibly just return it. But before you do: have you tried deleting the maps and remapping your home? Sometimes that fixes weird glitches like this.
r/RobotVacuums · Looking for feedback on Ecovacs deebot X8 pro omni vs Eufy S1 omni pro vs Eureka J20 robot vacuum mops I've had a Eufy S1 Pro since October, and am quite happy with it so far. Observations on using it: * The mop is excellent. I've used it to clean up actual spills and pet accidents (after soaking up excess liquid with paper towels in the latter case). The mop is definitely the banner feature for this robot. * It is also good at obstacle avoidance, which was important for us as we have a dog. It's only had a few incidents with cords and a small plastic bag in all the time since we've had it. * Edge vacuuming is OK. Corner vacuuming is less good; not up to what robots with extending side brushes can do, but better than a typical robot. Mopping edges leaves about a half-inch unmopped border, which you'll have to touch up manually every so often; ditto with corners. * Carpet vacuuming is OK, but not class-leading by any stretch. The brush roller should prevent actual hair tangles, but it does tend to collect hair on the axle ends (which it's designed to handle; there's space for hair to collect). You'll need to clear out the hair from the main brush and the two side brushes every so often. I don't have experience with as many pets as you have; if there were a place where you might find this robot lacking, it's here. * Maintenance of the onboard dirty water tank will take a little extra time. There's an internal screen to separate out debris from the dirty water which will need frequent cleaning. I do mine once a week, but I could probably space it out more if I wanted to. (I mop twice a week plus one-off jobs.) * The app is pretty good. No frills, but simple, and it does the main things it needs to do: mapping, scheduling, basic map editing, no-go zones and virtual walls, that sort of thing. It also has reminders for many periodic maintenance tasks. * There are directions for setting up Alexa, but I haven't tried it. There's a S1 non-Pro as well, which is a little cheaper usually. It doesn't have the ozone generator for disinfecting the water, can't be hooked up to plumbing, and uses the slightly worse navigation and obstacle avoidance from the Eufy X10. It's worth looking into whether the extra features in the Pro are worth the cost to you. Finally, I don't have direct experience with the Ecovacs or Eureka, but reviews of those two have not been great. Check out Vacuum Wars on the Eureka, and Just A Dad on the Ecovacs.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Picks up small debris well for me on Turbo + cleaning intensity as deep + Walter level medium. Haven’t used Max yet. My scheduled use is kitchen floor every night and entire floor twice a week. Rest is as per need. In the morning the kitchen floor is super clean (it has light colored tiles). So that’s where my feedback is coming from. On more thing: I read in the manual that it is suggested to run vaccum and mop as a separate cycle for optimal results. Going to try this one soon to see if it makes any difference.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours There could be a possibility of hardware revision. Mine is just 40 days old. I haven’t tested anything else. While researching I concluded that Eufy has superior mopping comparatively and went with my gut. I am super impressed with its obstacle avoidance as well.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Surprisingly, I have a great experience. Moping is solid. Vaccum is great as well. As far as I am concerned, this is not a deep cleaning device as it can’t have that capability. I am super happy with what it offers. My issue is the loud noise it makes. It’s horrible. But as a work around I have scheduled it for 2 am when I am in deep sleep. So all good so far.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours That crazy mine works very well. No issues. I dump and refill daily and I check the filters and brushes weekly. Mine doesn’t get hair stuck in the brush, mine avoids obstacles. I have never once woken up in the morning to cords pulled out or the robot lost. I cleans under my tables and around the chairs. I’m sorry your robot had issues but if I had to but the X10 again I would, great investment. Their customer service is shit.

r/homeassistant · What’s the best robot vacuum for pet hair that actually works?? Golden retriever owner here. Skip anything with bristle brushes, you'll be cutting hair off weekly. Rubber rollers are the real deal. For $400-600 on hardwood + rugs, get the **Eufy X10 Pro Omni**. Self-empties so you don't touch fur for weeks, rubber brushes, lifts the mop on rugs. Around $500. The **Dreame L50 Ultra** is better but runs $850. Not worth stretching if you're happy with "good enough." Just don't buy anything without a self-empty bin. You'll regret it daily. [](https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1p73fgr/which_robot_to_choose_eufy_x10_pro_omni_or/)That $450 price for the x10 is really good, but with pets and kids, I’d seriously consider returning it for the dreame x40 ultra. Too bad you can’t get the mova p10 there since it’s usually the go-to for pet hair, but the x40 is a solid alternative. The obstacle avoidance and extendable side-brush just handle cluttered homes better than the eufy. For a $150 difference, it’s worth the swap IMO

r/eufy · I've had my Eufy X10 pro Omni over a year, not once have I had to empty the dust bag Sadly the X10 is a rather poor vacuum I’ve found. Ours has been in use for over a year now. We got it because it was highly recommended by Vacuum Wars. The X10 is a semi-decent allrounder, but my almost 8 year old Ecovacs Deebot does so, so much better just cleaning up dust. It pulls up buckets of dust and sand in a single sweep where the X10 has to pass 4 times for the same result. Not keen on getting another Eufy if this one kicks the bucket tbh.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Pro Omni for £329, worth it? I went for the Saros 10, its alot better. The Eufy was ok, but it doesn't do mutli floor cleaning well (mopping) It will just wet the mop at the dock then drag a wet mop around. it doesn't properly lift the mop so for me wasn't good! It would also get lost regularly and couldn't find the base. There were days i would find the battery died as it kept searching for dock until it died. Also it doesn't work with Home Assistant which was a deal breaker in itself for me.

r/RobotVacuums · Black Friday Week Tips/Recommendations from a Robot Tester. Thank you, you are amazing!! I have tried my best to keep this post short... I'm not very good at that, so thanks for your patience 😅 I've heard such mixed things it's impossible to tell. Even among trusted places, one will say "this did a fantastic job with obstacle avoidance" and another will say "obstacle avoidance was terrible". At this point I feel like I’m drowning in research and going in circles. --- Slightly more general questions: - Obstacle avoidance (or navigation--still not 100% sure of the difference) * I live in a very small apartment and may be adopting a cat/kitten soon. A lot of my furniture expands or moves, so room layout isn’t static. How does that affect which features I should prioritize? * I’m realistically a bit messy. I know I'll need to be good about picking up, but will I hear alerts or weird sounds if I miss something and the vacuum gets stuck? - Hair tangles: Why don’t I see long-hair performance data on your site? (Possibly brain fog from research overload.) - Costco model confusion: Costco often sells rebranded or modified models. How do you find compatible consumables and reliable reviews for those versions? --- As far as my specific situation... Space: - 563 sq ft, laminate flooring, may add washable area rugs later - Furniture is moveable/expandable Cleaning Needs: - Likely cat/kitten adoption - Heavy dust buildup and long human hair - Mopping is optional — vacuuming is the priority - Goal: avoid dust bunnies + clumps on the floor; I don't expect perfection, just help keeping up so I'm not walking in nasty Budget: Preferably $500 or less, willing to stretch slightly if it's worth it Other Considerations: - Wi-Fi limitation: * Managed apartment Wi-Fi--can’t tell if 2.4 GHz is available * Any workarounds or brands that handle it better if it's a combined 2.4/5 GHz? * I need to be able to return if Wi-Fi setup fails * I’m tech-capable & willing to troubleshoot myself, but bad at dealing with customer service hassle Models I've been looking at: - Roomba j7+ - had essentially decided until I found out about the recent iRobot situation - Dreame L40 Ultra - anti-tangle and great obstacle avoidance, from what I heard, but customer service concerns worry me * Why do you recommend L10s Ultra/Pro Ultra and not L40? - Narwal Freo X Ultra — love the anti-tangle + Costco availability - SwitchBot K10+ Pro or K11+ - compact size good for small tight spaces - MOVA P10 Pro Ultra - If I remember right, this is essentially the same thing as Dreame L40 Ultra? Not sure. Again, customer service uncertainty - Eufy X10 Pro Omni - at least, I *was* looking at this. At least one place, maybe more, mentioned *good* obstacle avoidance... Any advice would be *much* appreciated! Thanks so much again!

r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations from a Robot Tester Oh interesting! This does make a lot of sense for the X10, and I know there's a feature on the S1 Pro called "Height detection sensitivity" which you can set in different modes. The free mode allowed it to move without issues under a TV stand with a 10 cm (3.9") clearance in our maneuverability test, however in the medium and safe modes it would not go under it. This robot doesn't have a spinning LIDAR on the top of it, though. That being said, the X10 at the time we tested it was very clumsy with its navigation even without overhangs. These are all great suggestions! I've sent this message over to our test devs. Some of the things you've mentioned are already on our radar, and we do cover a few things you've mentioned already so it's good to see we are aligned!
r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations from a Robot Tester Dual rollers are better for pet hair handling in general, but still risk getting long hair caught in the edges of the rollers. They are super easy to clean though, and usually only takes about 2-3 minutes. I mean, the S8 Max V has blades and that really didn't make much of a difference either. To be fair, we do push the robots to their limits with 2.5g of hair in a 4-inch wide strip over 3 feet long which way more than you'd expect in real life. The Tri-cut brush on the MOVA P50 we tested also got stuck. The only system that worked really well was actually on the Eufy X10 Pro omni. It has a comb and a hair cutter, and runs a specific hair cleaning cycle while on the dock which left it impressively clean. Unfortunately, that doesn't make up for its pickup performance issues. Let me know your feedback once you get it! As I said, I haven't tested it so that would be great insight for me!

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy x10 pro omni, short review I've had the Eufy X10 Pro Omni for about a year now, and it's been a major letdown. It does a poor job with hair, and the default suction barely picks up anything. I tried increasing the suction to reduce the constant hair tangling, but the tangles still happened, and now it takes 10 times longer to clean the house. What used to be a passive cleaning job while we were out has turned into an hours-long session that runs during peak time when everyone’s home, which completely defeats the purpose. To make matters worse, we have to manually send it back to the dock almost every day because it gets lost or can't find the base. The app and software are the only bright spots, but even that feels like a trap now. After one of the recent updates, performance dropped off a cliff. It honestly feels like they broke it to push people into upgrading or replacing it. What really stings is that my cheap Shark vacuum handled hair way better. The app was garbage and felt years behind Eufy's, but at least it got the job done.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy x10 pro omni, short review I had my X10 for a little over a year and overall I was alright with it, but I did notice the issues you mentioned. The software, specifically, is trash and remained trash up until it died. From firmware breaking mopping usage to maps "magically" expanding zones on its own, while failing to go to a previously occupied spot after the obstacle was removed (ex. left a laundry basket on the floor when it mapped, moved the basket and it would "see" that it was no longer there, but never actually vacuum that space.) The room dividing was equally useless and it never let me actually divide what I needed to. The amount of times I had to re-create my whole schedule because I had to merge and try dividing a room is impossible to keep track of. The mopping was ok when the firmware didn't completely cripple the water output. I went to the Mova P50 Pro Ultra and it's a night and day difference. Vacuuming leaves my floors spotless and mopped actually applies an even coating of water. The app is fantastic, and it mapped my house almost perfectly the very first time and even called rooms by their proper names. The room it did combine incorrectly, I was able to divide without issue, unlike the X10. Basically, at the time the X10 was good. Seeing how good the P50 is though, for about the same price, there's zero reason to go with the X10.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Still great so far. I have no complaints. It actually exceeds my expectation. That been said, maybe other robots are just as good, but I didn't have chance to try others. I want to mention that I run the X10 daily on schedules, and it has never been stuck even for once, isnt that amazing? The navigation and obstacle avoidance is truly amazing. It is almost a true set and go experience. I say almost because the limiting factor is actually the capacity of the water tank, I have to fill the water daily with heavy daily usage. I also clean the dustbin and filter to ensure maxium vaccume performance.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours hi thanks for the reply. i am still happy with the X10 for the 2nd day. it finally cleaned all areas of my 2800 sqft one-story house ( no carpet or area rugs thoughout tht house) and i am more than happy with the cleaning result as my floor has was pretty filthy, lol. That being said, but I did diligently clean the dustbin, filter, roller, and dustbin guard twice thoughout the long day of cleaning. what I found is that that "screen door" like mashed pre-filter is VERY EASY to get clogged with grime and dirt, and I would imagine it will totally block the airflow at one point. You have pointed this out already in your detailed review. Now i am almost 80% sure this is the culprit to the low suction reported by multiple users. Now, i am inclined to think this pre-filter is not really needed. My old S5 didnt have it and it had no issues. I will keep clean out prefilter once a while and hopefully wont experience the low suction issue.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours hi i want to report that i have received the X10 this afternoon and set it up playing with it all night. I am actually extremely pleased with it! Well my last robo cleaner was a 4 years old Roborock S5, so it was not a high bar to clear. This is WAY better than the S5 though. the vacuum has been great on my hardwood and tile flooring, it picks up everything, and by the way, I only used standardn suction power, didn't bother with Turbo or Max, do you think that may contribute to the issues you have? Standard suction worked perfectly for me so far. but then again I have only had this for like 10 hours. additionally, the mapping was fast and accurate, the mopping is FANTASTIC! The hair tanglement is real though, there was A LOT my wife's hair tangled on the roller after it cleaned master bedroom and master bath, so I had to manually remove it. but everything else is great so far. i am expecting the performance to go down as the filer will become clogged and the door seal become deteriorated as you experienced. but so far I am loving it. My Qrevo Plus will arrive in a few days, I will compair the two soon. Man how robo cleaners have advanced in just a few years, this is night and day difference than my S5! My wife was even more pleased than i am!
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours thank you sir! for the honest detailed review. I have ordered both X10 Pro Omni and Roborock Qrevo Plus 2 days ago for very similar price: $550 and $520. I was told that Eufy X10 is not reliable in my deep research. I think I will test both of these Robos and return the Eufy.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours French here sorry for my english. Got an eufy x10 from 1 month now. I use it only on hard floor and don't notice any issue regarding vacuum. It misses sometimes little thing as my old roborock so I'm not surprised or dispointed. Mopping is good! Yesterday I had a little dried pumpkin dirt in my kitchen and after 2 passes of mopping no more dirt. It's probably not the best, no doubt that high end roborock beat it but I had it for 550$ and this is for me a great robot for this price.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Maybe they changed something on the robot, because I've had mine for 2.5 months now. It has run for 63 hours, and no issue with it. I have hard floor everywhere, 508 sqft. I have 2 big dogs and 1 cat.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Pro Omni Review 1. You can either do this via the zone feature (along the top in the main menu is home, room, zone) or you can place it where you want it to clean and press the left button and it'll clean a 1.5x1.5m area then go home. 2. Yes, it's an overly chatty robot that tells you everything.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Thanks for the update! I just ordered the x10 and am having second thoughts reading these reviews. But we’re coming from a dumb Shark that just randomly bounced around, so our bar isn’t that high either. Please update us after you try the QRevo. We looked at that too, but went with the x10 specifically for the object avoidance since we have kids and pets leaving things around.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours I have had an X10 since launch. I did not read the review word for word, but appreciate the time and energy that went into it. I have not had the same experience myself. Suction is slightly better than my Roborock, cable ID capability is impressive. I have had it run over a cable once and never had it misidentify one. The circular pattern in the images above, I have not seen that myself. Sure there are things it misses. For example, mine struggles with small paper scraps. I also would like to see a product that can get under cabinets a little better, but overall the edge hugging function works really well for me. I will add that my home is predominantly hard flooring, but I do have some carpet. The bottom line of it is performance and experience with products is not always going to be consistent across a user base.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Yeah, it's probably stupid me not noticing mine isn't doing anything. I always end up in the placebo control group...
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Wow, you guys are on a mission. The time you two are spending on this sub trying to sway people from buying this robovac (and go for some other brand) is astonishing. Your dedication is really admirable! I must have been really lucky because I've had my X10 for about two months now and it has performed very satisfactory up until now. It picks up about everything in it's path and has very thorough navigation, including climbing ramps. Maybe the trick here was to set some smart virtual barriers around it in stead of some carton boxes... Only quirk was a connection loss after a firmware update, forcing me to do a reset, causing me to lose the mappings. That only happened once though. I'm happy with it, maybe you had a bad batch or something?

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours I find the X-10 to be quite good, not the forever-vacuum I was hoping for but good enough until a clearly better option is out there that isn’t $2000. My only complaint is the motors that drive the wheels are quite noisy, louder and more distracting than the sound of the vacuum.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours I got mine when it was first released. I got it with the 200 off if you buy the voucher for 1. The only time I had suction issues was when that "hepa" filter caked in fine dust. I just checked mine now and it looks dirtier than your pics but still is sucking up dirt. This is interesting. I'll get some pics
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours interesting, it's strange as I don't seem to have that suction issue.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours I'm in France, and the L10s plus (no autocleaning) is at 335eu, but the L10s pro gen 2 with autocleaning is at 299. Much cheaper than what I was currently eyeing: The L10s ultra gen 2, is at 550eu, same price as x10 pro omni.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours I 100% agree with you. I bought the x10 basis all the online reviews and this group but I haven’t been satisfied with it at all. Should have gone for roborock!

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours This mirrors my experience with X10 as well. Some additional things to mention: 1- Because you have to use Max suction, the robot is extremely noisy. It is even noisier in standard mode compared to a Roborock or Dreame. Considering you have to run this all day long in a large house due to bad battery performance, hearing noise all day adds up. 2- The app itself has bugs and lacks some of the good features other bots have. For instance, It started resuming a task after recharging without the dustbin and filter installed (I was washing them). They simply forgot to add a check in the code, which shows how untested the product is. I submitted a bug and they since fixed this issue, but it is disappointing at this price range. Other issues I have found is the lack of “carpet first, mop later” setting and the bot ignoring DND hours (it only stops auto emptying during DND mode, but will resume vacuuming in the middle of the night. Did I tell you that it is noisy?)
r/Roborock · Returning my Qrevo Curv After 2 Weeks Of USE, 50 Sessions + - Honest Review Independent reviews show maybe 2% vacuum improvement, which was in line with my experience. I have no pets, maybe that is a factor? Qrevo Pro and Master are both much better than Eufy X10, which even struggles on hard floor. As a privacy professional, I don’t like Roborock’s privacy policy, so I will never turn on a live camera feature even if I had pets. Same with the voice command.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Pro Omni Review So far, so good. Sometimes it will find a loose sock or shirt, but that’s happened ~5-6 times. I run it everyday. The dirty water reservoir really gets nasty, but it is dirty water after all. I’ve kept up with general maintenance and there is no abnormal wear or tear. I’ve had to put up a no go zone for one of my bathrooms as there are floor mats it finds and will drag along. I don’t think that’s the robot’s fault, just the mats move around easily. As for the app, it’s super convenient and makes it really easy to manage zones/scheduling.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Pro Omni Review Hey, just a quick follow up on that brush: it's totally worth it ! I got way less hair stuck after a cleaning, and it was only on each ends of the brush. What's so better now is that you can pop off those ends to remove the hair instead of having to cut the hair. I'm so glad you notified me about that, thanks again !

r/RobotVacuums · NEW #1 on the Vacuum Wars Top 20 Best Robot Vacuum List - And Other Updates!! would the dreame x40 be worth it over L20? its 500eur more expensive in my country. I mostly have hardwood floors, and want good mopping and good suction (I bought eufy x10 pro omni for my parents, and tested it in my house where i also have a labrador dog, and it left some hair on the floor - single hairs, not bunched up together). So im tempted to try dreame, and idk what model would be good for my needs.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Pro Omni Review It makes us feel like it's a sometimes-naughty pet that we adore. We went for a day-trip yesterday and realized we needed to "Bumble-proof" the house before leaving home. I often find myself watching it in amusement as it repeatedly tries to find a way past a barrier to an area it has been able access previously. Like a pet, it sometimes gets underfoot and we have to shoo it away. While it's not able to reach all corners, it makes it possible for us to walk barefoot around the house and not experience the discomfort of crumbly bits under our feet. It doesn't capture all of the tumblefloof from our cat, but it gets most of it. It's a huge help.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Pro Omni Review I keep getting the "insufficient water level in the clean water tank" error. Just contacted Eufy customer support about it. Another problem is that the robot keeps getting stuck on the door stopper and under some furniture that have metal frame. It goes over the metal stand and gets stuck.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Pro Omni Review Hello, need help to know more of this robo. 1- Does it do spot clean ? As in ask the robot to clean a partucular spot, and if so how. I have the same robo but unable to locate the spot clean feature in the app. 2- does it have a voice module which we can activate in the app so that it tells on the status of the clean or any issues.

I should note there there were a few models like the Eufy X10 which were inconsistent per run, like I have seen it use 3 grams of water, and almost no water at different times. However after running it several times the low water usage seemed to be much more common so I used those numbers for it. Its too bad, if they could fix this water issue on the X10 it would be one of the best robots out there.
