Eufy S2 Omni

r/RobotVacuums · A Sneak Peek of The Eufy Omni S2 Robot Vacuum! Welcome To The Future of Robot Vacuum Technology! Part 2 of 2 Not at this time, but it is currently being tested and if all goes well it will be added in subsequent firmware versions. So, there’s a good possibility, but subject to change of course !
r/RobotVacuums · A Sneak Peek of The Eufy Omni S2 Robot Vacuum! Welcome To The Future of Robot Vacuum Technology! Part 2 of 2 Beta testing has opened a line of communication with the engineering team and myself and others have been able to upload hundreds of hours of logs, videos, feedback etc to help make these refinements. I’m encouraged from all of my interactions they are working hard to get it right.
r/RobotVacuums · A Sneak Peek of The Eufy Omni S2 Robot Vacuum! Welcome To The Future of Robot Vacuum Technology! Part 2 of 2 I did confirm with Eufy you can create up to 5 maps.
r/RobotVacuums · A Sneak Peek Of The Eufy Omni S2 Robot Vacuum! Welcome to the Future Of Robot Vacuum Technology! Part 1 of 2 I will be doing some more testing of the new firmware and keep everyone updated. There is also a launch firmware update expected as well that should have even more improvements before the S2 ships. I haven’t had enough time to test the firmware update from today to make an informed decision but will keep updating here as much as I can.
r/RobotVacuums · A Sneak Peek of The Eufy Omni S2 Robot Vacuum! Welcome To The Future of Robot Vacuum Technology! Part 2 of 2 I think if you’re in the market for a robovac in this price range it has some very good upgrades over the S1 Pro. There’s a lot less maintenance, better suction power, and ability to climb on to high pile rugs and carpet with the S2. So some of those items may be worth the upgrade for you depending on your situation. I had personally planned to buy the S2 when it launched prior to becoming a beta tester. I’ve had a very good experience with the S1 Pro and think the roller mop system is the best for my situation.
r/RobotVacuums · A Sneak Peek Of The Eufy Omni S2 Robot Vacuum! Welcome to the Future Of Robot Vacuum Technology! Part 1 of 2 Yes, there is auto refill capability and I have an auto refill kit on hand. However it’s still in the box and I haven’t hooked it up. I need an electrician to add an outlet where I want to permanently install it and haven’t done that yet. And yes, I originally posted part 2 and noticed it didn’t contain the pictures I uploaded so I did delete it. Here’s part 2 https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/s/Kk3EymHrWo
r/RobotVacuums · A Sneak Peek of The Eufy Omni S2 Robot Vacuum! Welcome To The Future of Robot Vacuum Technology! Part 2 of 2 I have 2 and it still gives me the option to create another map. I’m not sure of the maximum. Let me see if I can get an answer for you but I believe 5 will be doable !
r/RobotVacuums · A Sneak Peek of The Eufy Omni S2 Robot Vacuum! Welcome To The Future of Robot Vacuum Technology! Part 2 of 2 I really do believe it would be great for that purpose. The brush does not clog and the air filtration does not clog either. You could set up a daily zone cleaning of the litter box area to maintain it. I would probably recommend 2x cleaning mode to ensure you get it all picked up. I would also recommend daily usage to keep the cat hair swept up. I don’t own pets but my wife and daughter have longer hair. I constantly pulled hair out of the ends of the S1 Pro on a weekly basis. I’ve never had to pull a strand of hair out of the S2 Duo Spiral brush. It’s that good at anti tangle. I hope this helps.
r/RobotVacuums · A Sneak Peek of The Eufy Omni S2 Robot Vacuum! Welcome To The Future of Robot Vacuum Technology! Part 2 of 2 I will be conducting more testing going forward and will try to conduct some tests similar to what you mentioned. The pictures you see are the tallest carpet I have and the S2 does a good job pulling debris out of it. I know I have seen some mixed reviews of carpet cleaning so far, but I do truly believe the S2 carpet cleaning improved over the S1 Pro while being quieter at the same time.
r/RobotVacuums · A Sneak Peek Of The Eufy Omni S2 Robot Vacuum! Welcome to the Future Of Robot Vacuum Technology! Part 1 of 2 Check out my Part 2 of 2. I actually have a photo of the dust bin after I cleaned carpet with the S2 last night. It pulled a lot of hair and debris out of the carpet. I ran it on Max suction power and I would say it's definitely improved over the S1. [A Sneak Peek of The Eufy Omni S2 Robot Vacuum! Welcome To The Future of Robot Vacuum Technology! Part 2 of 2 : r/RobotVacuums](https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1qdpu2v/a_sneak_peek_of_the_eufy_omni_s2_robot_vacuum/)
r/RobotVacuums · A Sneak Peek of The Eufy Omni S2 Robot Vacuum! Welcome To The Future of Robot Vacuum Technology! Part 2 of 2 No noticeable moisture pulled in to the vacuum dust bin. The S2 doesn’t use a huge amount of water and dries quickly just like the S1 Pro. So, I’ve never noticed moisture buildup. I’m working on an edge cleaning video I hopefully will have posted in the next few days. I know a lot of people are wondering if it’s improved.
r/RobotVacuums · A Sneak Peek of The Eufy Omni S2 Robot Vacuum! Welcome To The Future of Robot Vacuum Technology! Part 2 of 2 If your question is regarding a large amount of pooled water on the flooring: Yes, the S2 will suck it in to the vacuum bin. However, there is a feature called “Automatic Mess Detection” that is supposed to lift the vacuum roller brush and side sweeping brush to prevent this. At the current time Eufy told me it only recognizes ketchup and coffee but more liquids will be added eventually. However, in my testing the robot failed my ketchup test on the floor and still sucked some of it in to the vacuum brush. I reported this to eufy and they mentioned it’s a lab function right mow meaning it’s easier reproduced in a lab and is still being worked on. I know they also mentioned it’s a lower priority because they are really focused on edge cleaning right now, but it’s actively being worked on. I’ve never had mop auto wash clog at the S2 base station. It uses an onboard dirty water tank that has a screen filter inside. The debris is scraped off the roller brush in real time and is trapped in this dirty water reservoir. It has fine particulate filters as well. So, this extraction method helps to not clog at the base station. One thing to note is the dirty water reservoir and filter will need to be cleaned on a regular basis. I would suggest every 2 weeks to keep the filter inside the tank from clogging and to keep smells down. Maintenance on the machine is literally 10-15 minutes every 2-3 weeks depending on how dirty your environment is. A very simple process !
r/RobotVacuums · New Eufy S2 Omni Robot Vacuum Just Came ! I would also recommend to report this and hopefully the app developer can add this feature after receiving multiple reports !
r/RobotVacuums · New Eufy S2 Omni Robot Vacuum Just Came ! Oh that’s a great question and I mentioned this to Eufy months ago…. What I figured out is if I set up the scheduled cleaning via “Common Tasks” vs going to “Settings” and then “Schedules” I was able to select AI cleaning by using the Common Tasks method and these can be saved. Let me know if you have questions about that process and I can make a video if needed. That’s a great questions and like I say I reported this as an app issue probably last year or early part of 2026. https://preview.redd.it/c9gssucibs7h1.jpeg?width=1206&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4f3272e93898ccb03acc25d3e5b3e54f5bbf68cd
r/RobotVacuums · New Eufy S2 Omni Robot Vacuum Just Came ! There’s no mop only mode. Unfortunately that is something everyone is hoping to see added. I know they added it to the E25/28 so there’s hope but I don’t know if the S2 will ever have it.
r/RobotVacuums · New Eufy S2 Omni Robot Vacuum Just Came ! That’s why I asked ! I was actually a beta tester on this unit and eufy was okay with me disclosing this in my initial write up back in January before they decided to revise a few things. The air filtration is the best on the market currently in robot vacuums !

r/RobotVacuums · A Sneak Peek Of The Eufy Omni S2 Robot Vacuum! Welcome to the Future Of Robot Vacuum Technology! Part 1 of 2 Check out my Part 2 of 2 here and you can see my thoughts on edge cleaning. Eufy is still working on edge cleaning and it is getting better with each update. A firmware update was sent out this morning and from what I've seen so far the edge cleaning is improved over the previous firmware. However, they will have a final update before launch that should help improve everything! [A Sneak Peek of The Eufy Omni S2 Robot Vacuum! Welcome To The Future of Robot Vacuum Technology! r/RobotVacuums · A Sneak Peek of The Eufy Omni S2 Robot Vacuum! Welcome To The Future of Robot Vacuum Technology! Part 2 of 2 That’s something that was discussed early on in testing and I don’t believe they have any plans to do so as it’s not a listed feature.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy S2 Robot Vacuum I wonder if you have a faulty unit. I had the original S2 prior to the recall and didn’t have any of the issues you describe. For me, the edge cleaning wasn’t particularly great, but otherwise, things like object avoidance worked well. I’ve just received the replacement unit today so will test it out, send hopefully have an improved experience.

r/RobotVacuums · A Sneak Peek of The Eufy Omni S2 Robot Vacuum! Welcome To The Future of Robot Vacuum Technology! Part 2 of 2 Thanks so much for the detailed response. I think the maintenance that you’ve outlined is pretty realistic for any robot. I’m going to buy the auto refill and empty kit, so that should cut back on the number of times I have to tend to it. I’m just going to set a reminder to clean the tank and dock every two weeks. I’ve had to do that every few days with the Roomba so I’ll be happy for a solid week of no maintenance. Lastly, do you notice the robot pulling moisture into the bin during normal use? Such as just a regular mop and vacuum cleaning with no spills..

r/RobotVacuums · My Review of the new eufy E25 S2 could cost a lot more.. It targets a different group of people thats willing to spend that much for the robots. People that are mainstream looking for value and performance at the mid level, would probably find the e25/e28 as the best Robovac at the time being.

r/RobotVacuums · Skeptical after Vacuum Wars rankings. Best robot mop if budget isn’t an issue? The Eufy s2 only scored a 2.80 in the mopping score. The Narwal flow 2 also scored pretty poorly at 2.66 (however. apparently there was a software update that was not installed prior to testing). I was in a very similar situation to you where I was looking for the absolute best mopping robot with no budget (check my prior posts). I have a mostly tile home with a kitchen that easily shows stains. I settled on the Mova z60 ultra. I believe it is third on vacuum wars (3.66) behind the T90 pro Omni (3.90). Since everyone is recommending the flow 2 I’ll just tell you why I picked this over the flow. Compared to the flow 2 The Z60 has a higher downward pressure (12N vs 17N I believe) and it rotates the mop 30rpm faster. The flow 2 mops with 60 degrees hot water but once the water actually reaches the floor I believe it would be cold anyway. Whilst specs are not everything my experience with the z60 has been very good. Compared to my old Z50 which has the same track mop as the flow 2 with higher pressure (18N) and 30 degree mopping the Z60 performs significantly better. Maybe the roller (instead of track) mop is just more effective at removing stains? Whilst I may be inherently biased towards the Z60, my decision was primarily based upon reviews and experiences with the Mova Z50. If I were you I would get either a z60 ultra (or the newer z70 ultra) or the T90 pro Omni. If you live in a country with good consumer protection laws I wouldn’t bother researching too much as it drove me absolutely crazy sorting through all of the paid reviews. Just try one of them out.

r/RobotVacuums · Help me pick a robot vacuum with roller mop (Eufy S2 Omni, Ecovacs T9 Pro Omni, Ecovacs X12 Omnicyclone, or Dreame Aqua 10 Ultra) I currently have three of the four and did briefly own the Aqua 10 before it began leaking. The Eufy S2 and Ecovacs X12 both have serious firmware issues right now. The S2 doesn't like to extend its mop roller and also doesn't identify pet waste or liquid spills as shown in the marketing. There's no mop only mode and it will suck anything liquid up into its main brush. I also find the transforming noise of the wheels highly annoying and it's not even on sale as $1300 is its typical price. The X12 is a good value, but there are serious navigation issues and I've had it move its base station on the map into other rooms causing lots of directional issues. I'm still reviewing it, but it's a no go for me. The T90 is an excellent value and I don't currently have any issues with it other than it does have a very small filter and dust bin as you mentioned. The Roborock Curv 2 Flow is my current favorite roller, with the MOVA Z60 as a very distant runner-up.

r/UninfluencedReviews · Is there a robot vacuum and mop combo that doesn't require constant maintenance? A mop combo makes the most sense when it blends into your normal routine. With my eufy S2, the whole process feels pretty low-stress day to day, especially when the floors keep looking fresh with so little effort.

r/BuyItForLife · Is an all-in-one robot vacuum and mop with auto-empty station really worth the hype? For us, the eufy S2 definitely picked up daily crumbs and light dirt, but once a week I still have to roll up my sleeves for the deeper gunk in corners, so I’m sorta on the fence about the “all-in-one” being totally worth it.

r/homeautomation · Why do robot vacuums still need so much hands-on effort? (Expectation vs. Reality) In my house, the biggest limiter was just the random stuff on the floor—once I started picking up before runs, the eufy S2 actually does a lot more on its own.

r/RobotVacuums · A Sneak Peek of The Eufy Omni S2 Robot Vacuum! Welcome To The Future of Robot Vacuum Technology! Part 2 of 2 Thank you for sharing this valuable information. I have been using the S1 for several months and am overall pleased with it, but carpet cleaning in my opinion has been a bit underwhelming. Higher suction, of course, would be a welcome addition, and I'm hopeful the duo brush in the S2 as well equates to a bit more agitation of my low pile carpet to get deeper down results. One item of note that I would VERY much like to see with this device is the ability for voice command (in my case Alexa) to 'order' the S2 to clean a particular room 'on the fly.' I enjoyed that ability on my previous Neato vac, and it beats hauling out the phone and navigating the map by a mile. Please let the company know this is a highly desired option.

r/RobotVacuums · Thoughts on the Eufy E25? 100% agree. The e25 hits a sweet spot and I haven't felt the need to spend any more for a higher end machine, diminishing returns indeed. Even the upcoming S2 has minimal appeal for me yet it costs double what the e25 did. Only the multicyclonic dustbin would be nice, because the filter on my e25 does clog itself up really quickly. Forgot to mention that.

I find it worrying how many shortcomings still need to be fixed (assuming it’s even possible) just a few days before the release. And to think the launch was initially planned for October it would have been a disaster considering where the product still is three months later. I regret the brand’s lack of transparency: announcing a « logistical issue » to justify the delay when it’s clearly not ready. They would have been better off sticking to a spring release, as they had announced on the UK website. Personally, I’m no longer really sure I want to buy it.
Ok, if you could discuss it with the engineer, as was done for the mop only feature. I don’t think I’m the only one interested, especially since competitors offer it.
It’s true that they seem to want to do things properly. I hope it pays off
