r/RobotVacuums · Ecovacs T80 Omni or Eufy E25? E25 Omni usually has better navigation and avoids obstacles more reliably. T80 Omni has stronger suction and a more thorough mop system. Both self-empty and mop, but the T80’s mop wash/dry is a bit more advanced If object detection and reliability matter most, E25 is often recommended. Neither is perfect, but both are good mid-range combo robots. I’d lean Eufy E25 Omni for reliability and everyday use.

r/RobotVacuums · Ecovacs T80 Omni or Eufy E25? If mopping and object avoidance are priorities, the T80 Omni is the better pick over the E25. The E25 is fine for basic cleaning, but it’s not as strong overall. fwiw my mate and i usually double-check owner feedback on Redditrecs before buying, some links are affiliate and help fund the analysis

r/Roborock · Roborock Saros 10R and Eufy Omni e28 one week review I share most of your opinions about the e28. I just posted a review myself comparing it to the ecovacs T80 Omni which I feel does a better job. I know everyone is gung-ho on the roller mop design but I think a good spinning mop vac is better than a subpar roller mop. I’m sure we will eventually get a roller or track mop option from Roborock and I expect it will be one of the best performers as Roborock typically is.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy E25 quick review I agree it leaves too much water behind. There isn’t much in the grey water tank after a run. I have also been testing the T80 Omni and on the contrary, it leaves a lot less water behind and there is much more dirty water in the grey water tank.
r/RobotVacuums · Impressed with Deebot T80 Omni and comparison to Eufy E25 The x40 that I bought was refurbished and had wonky navigation so I sent it back, but bought a new l40 ultra and I really like it. The navigation is pretty good and object avoidance has been pretty solid too. Is it perfect? No. And the T80 is probably still a bit better at mopping. But it was good enough for me to realize that it wasn’t worth paying the extra money for the T80 or e28. So both of them got sent back and I kept the l40 ultra. As for the Mova v50, I have it sitting in its box still in my house as I decided I’m going to send it back for the fact that I don’t feel it’s worth me spending twice the price as the l40 ultra for what is likely marginal performance gains. Don’t get me wrong I am sure it is better, but I’ve come to the conclusion that the robot vac tech is just moving so quickly that spending money on a premium robot whose features will be dated in just a couple years wasn’t a good idea. So I’m happy with the performance of the l40 ultra and will be keeping that one.
r/RobotVacuums · Impressed with Deebot T80 Omni and comparison to Eufy E25 I’ve also been testing these 2 side by side. I also agree that the T80 Omni does a better job. However, I still don’t think it’s good enough for me to want to keep it. And I especially don’t trust ecovacs as a brand. While it works good now, it’s been said over and over that reliability is not ecovacs strong suit. I do believe roller mops are better performers but there are more option right on the horizon so I think it’s worth waiting if you don’t have an immediate need to buy one.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy E25 quick review What made you go X9 over t80? They seem to be very similar. I am testing the t80 and e28 in parallel and I agree with most of your points. I think the biggest downside you laid out was that it leaves a lot of water behind. I honestly thought it was a good thing at first but now realize it’s probably the opposite. I immediately noticed how much more t80 picks back up vs the e28. Are you returning the e25 and keeping the x9? Or is that what you’re ultimately still trying to decide? I keep going back and forth on which to keep and now I’m debating if I should also go x9 over t80… people in this sub do not seem to think highly of ecovacs which I feel is causing me some bias in my opinions.

r/RobotVacuums · Impressed with Deebot T80 Omni and comparison to Eufy E25 I am a couple days in of testing both robots as well (E28), bought during Prime Day, and absolutely share the sentiment as you. I was hesitant to purchase the T80 a day after the E28 due to the mostly negative reviews on here regarding ecovacs, but thought I owed it to myself to test it as well. The T80 mapped, vacuumed, and vac + mopped so far without getting stuck once. The E28, however, got stuck just now on its first vacuum 4 times by getting tangled in small wires in my office. Watching the E28 vacuum definitely felt like it was way more aggressive in trying to clean around table/chair legs and carpets so much that it pushed them around and scratched itself up in the process. The E28 also can't fit under our cabinets due to the LIDAR sensor sticking up, but the T80 could. The T80 also did seem to be a little quieter on Standard compared to E28 Turbo, but is significantly on "Quiet" compared to E28 "Quiet" mode. I also agree regarding the mapping and room separation is better on the T80 vs E25/28 app. The Eufy app made so many rooms it took me a while to edit and sort them out, whereas the Ecovacs map was pretty good off the bat, and the map is much easier to modify and edit than the Eufy app. I'm about to try mopping with the E28 soon as well for comparison, but it will have to do wonders to have us keep it at this rate.

r/RobotVacuums · Black Friday Week Tips/Recommendations from a Robot Tester. I know it isn’t Black Friday anymore but hoping for advice, regardless! We think we have a medium pile carpet, but borders on high pile. We got an EcoVacs Deebot T80 Omni robot vacuum and mop and it was dreadful. It got “stuck” on the carpet continuously and would shut down without doing more than one or two swipes. Never got one room to suction, no matter the settings or mods done. My husband finally removed the roller but when he did that, it couldn’t pull anything into it, so while it didn’t get stuck, it also didn’t suction. We were so sad. Are there any robot vacuums that will actually do an okay job at vacuuming on more plush carpets? We have a fluffy dog and I have long hair, so a brush that can handle hair and doesn’t tangle all the time is also needed. We’re afraid there’s no such thing. All the reviews for all the vacuums we’ve researched are done on hard floors or possibly a low pile/industrial carpet rug. Nothing like our home. Vacuum mops are fine as we have a small kitchen and front door area with laminate but otherwise our carpet is the main flooring.

r/RobotVacuums · Help me decide - yet another Dreame X50 vs Roborock Saros 10R Mind you I still just ordered an x50 because my deebot t80 omni is on its second warranty in 7 months. They're all junk. Most Chinese goods are no r&d because the lack of copyright laws lets them just copy other products. Cheap mass production, poor distribution pipeline. Robot vacuums are shit. Either go reliable but it's stupid as fuck and just bounces off the wall. Or get something smart and unreliable. That's why the 5-year warranty makes it worth it because if I'm always waiting for warranty at least I have 5 years.

r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations from a Robot Tester I didn’t like any options Costco had since they were all spinning mops. I’ve gone ahead and nabbed the T80 from Amazon since it was $599. Seemed comparable to the X8 for carpet and with long hair cats, I need that carpet performance.

r/RobotVacuums · Looking for a robot vacuum I have a roller mop model of your list, the ecovacs t80, and I’ve been using it for almost three months. I haven’t tried spinning mops so not sure about them, but I feel my roller mop has been great for mopping. I often have it clean up water stains at the bathroom door or some grease stains on the kitchen floor. It’s been working fine with no issues so far.

r/RobotVacuums · Ecovacs T50 Max Pro Omni vs Eufy Omni E25 I have to say that Ecovac's customer service was great for my returns, it was just annoying that I had to pack it back up each time (luckily, I noticed the stations weren't receiving power within 20 min of it being delivered), and I've seen a lot of good reviews on the T50 series. I'm 99% sure it was an internal power supply issue, and both units I got were within 15 numbers of each other, so it might have just been a bad batch. I almost upgraded to the T80, since it was cheaper than I had paid for the T50 with Prime Day Sales. I've been on this sub almost non-stop for the past 3 days debating on what to get, and going back and forth between several different ones.... finally just gave up and went with the L40 due to the price and generally high praise on the sub. The Eufy e25 seems to be pretty well liked too. The Eufy and Dreame subreddits might have more information for you as well, since they'll be more focused on the brands rather than robots in general.

r/RobotVacuums · Dreame L40 Ultra, Dreame X40 Ultra Complete or Mova P50 Pro Ultra (and perhaps Ecovacs T80)? my T80 stucks over a toilet, a door stopper, and nothing at all (facing closet door with a 100% path). Just avoid at all costs.

Le T80 Omni se bloque-t-il souvent ?

Est-il efficace sur les tapis et les poils d’animaux ?

Le T80 Omni vaut-il son prix ?

Same experience here. Bought the E25 and the T80 Omni and found the T80 to be much better in almost every regard. I didn’t have mapping issues that other reported though. Mopping is much better on the T80 than the E25
I had both the E25 and T80 Omni. For me, the T80 Omni was better in almost every regard. Returned the E25 even though it was $200 cheaper when I got it. (Paid $699 for the E25 vs. $899 for the T80) I wanted to like the E25 more since it was cheaper, but it just wasn’t as good for me.
In the US it was down to $799 for the 2nd to 4th day of prime day.
That's great, I'm glad its working out for you. At $699, I think it has a ton of value and is a great all-around robot. Just for me and my particular house, I preferred the T80. I wish I got the Prime deal for the T80 at $799 instead of $899, but didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning and repurchasing even though I was still in the return window.
I also think it’s just better designed, looking at the onboard dirty water tank, the catch seems much better and it seems to get less debris stuck in there vs flushing it to the base station.
I purchased the T80 and the Eufy E25. The T80 was better in almost every way for me; the E25 is not a bad robot, just not as good. Vacuum wars does not get their for free either.
Got stuck more than the T80 on metal chairs and bathroom rugs (T80 has yet to get stuck), mop leaves a ton of water behind and doesn’t remove stains as well, it feels a lot cheaper built, louder, etc. The E25 is not bad, but just feels like a downgrade overall for me with the T80. Some people report mapping issues with the T80 though, I didn’t have that and the map is perfect for my house.
I purchased both the Eufy E25 and T80 Omni. The T80 was superior in every way. My experience so far with the T80 has been excellent, but it’s primarily being used for tile floors.
If you have hard floors, the T80 Omni is in a class of its own over the others for mopping.
Yea, I don't feel any FOMO to be honest. The T80 Omni has been flawless and performs excellent. I understand the hesitation over brands, but I think every brand has great products and not so great products. This seems to be one of the good ones from Ecovacs, I'm brand agnostic, just very pleased with this specific product at it's price point. Why did you purchase the T80 Omni if you are biased against Ecovacs as a company?
