LastPass

LastPass, packshot

r/PasswordManagers · Just got another breach email from LastPass, what is actually the most secure password manager right now?

the only way to be 100% is to host it yourself. I dont think any password manager is immune to attack. in this case it sounds like just their sales data was breached. that data has been breached a million times since the internet became publicly used. in this case last pass wasnt breached, klue was, and the atackers then used legitimate tokens to access data that klue had access to. keeper security is my choice. they have not been breached, there were some potential exploits discovered, but there was never an incident.

Why would you choose to continue using LastPass when it's notoriously horrible in terms of security and data protection, and is specifically not recommended for consumer use? It's time to switch to something that has a solid reputation, and is recommended. Bitwarden, 1Password, Proton Pass, Robo Form, and KeePass. Those are the PMs you should be choosing from.

    r/PasswordManagers · 1password o nordpass

There's no good reason to use LastPass. They've been breached twice, and caught storing some user data in plaintext. They've squandered their reputation, and should be avoided. Bitwarden, 1Password, KeePass, and *maybe* Proton Pass are the only options to consider.

r/PasswordManagers · Just got another breach email from LastPass, what is actually the most secure password manager right now?

None. Every password manager is at risk of being breached (even offline self–hosted password manager, although the risk is considerably less unless you become a target, they also have their own set of tradeoffs and challenges). The important thing to understand is that password managers are designed for possibility of bad actors getting everything the manager has and still not be able to get the contemts of ypur vault, as long as you and the password manager are following best practices for vault security (which is one of the ways - although not theost important way - LastPass failed and you should have abandoned them years ago). So, my recommendation is still Bitwarden for being open source,  and free (with a cheap premium tier, if you want some added bells and whistles) If you really want to get away from online password managers, then I would go with a Keepass variant like KeepassXC and KeepasDX (for mobile) and use Syncthing to keep the vault in sync across your devices.

    r/PasswordManagers · I Lastpass a viable option now?

No. LastPass sin isn't that they were breached but the way they handled it. Unless their is a complete changeover in leadership (ideally have them spun out from whatever private equity group owns them) I wouldn't trust them. Even if that happens I see no reason to switch to them when free, open source alternatives like Bitwarden, Proton Pass, and KeePass exist.

r/PasswordManagers · What is the best online password manager right now? Bitwarden, NordPass,1Password, etc?

Unless you're an unusual user, like with a billion dollars, which would make you a target... any of the known and respected apps will work just fine to protect your passwords. They all would take years of intensive computing to brute force break. You know the LastPass history, so scratch that shit. Then it just comes down to ease of use, features, and how supportive/reliable the company is. Personally, I'd rather take a beating that to deal with 1Password ever again (multiple issues, poor support). Some people don't care what it costs, but I do and that another reason to ditch 1P and a few others. That basically leaves Bitwarden as the one with no major detriments. Their UI isn't the best, and I've complained about that because i'm from a design background, but it's mature and it just works. And it's free or cheap (even with the recent doubling of fee, it half the cost). I'm currently using Apple Passwords and Bitwarden (free) together. And as soon as I gain a little more confidence in Apple's app I intend to delete Bitwarden. So far nothing comes close to Passwords for being smooth, reliable, and well integrated. In other words, I'm just tired of messing with all of them, they are not fun.

    r/PasswordManagers · I Lastpass a viable option now?

I was an early adopter of Lastpass and used it for several years. At the time, it was one of the few options available. Then, better tools appeared and I switched. Even ignoring the breaches (note the plural), their deflection PR-only response (forcing users to use a longer master password, essentially trying to blame users), and poor security practices (number of iterations too low and only upgrading new users, not existing users), I would not be using it today because there are so many better options.

r/PasswordManagers · Surprising drawbacks with NordPass

The measly price increase is hardly worth the stability, time, efforts to save $10. Do you though. If you find one with emergency backup, security based on your machine so if they get hacked like LastPass exposing encrypted passwords, where bitearden, keeper, etc have nothing but their word, the cleanliness of the interface, and ease across android, etc where many numerous complaints over the others having issues with android, to save pennies over a year, let me know how that is. After deep research, nothing could compare. I paid for a family plan for 1yr to allow myself to get in, have backups on backups, amd if I pass away, family can get in. Can more do it, no. If they do, they dont off secondary security for database exploits. Do what you want Do you want cheap, security, stability, etc. If your $19 dollars if worth your security, do what you will

    r/PasswordManagers · LastPass exasperates me

And to think I have been paying these guys for a decade for handing my passwords out while I thought they were protecting them. Thanks for your advice and that of the other contributors. I'm going to try bitWarden and 1password this weekend and change all passwords once settled in

    r/PasswordManagers · LastPass exasperates me

Hours before the deadline and my dreaded annual LastPass renewal, I transferred fairly seamlessly over to ProtonPass. Reason being I've had a proton email account already for years, I trust them, they get good reviews and their ux is generally good. Got the lifetime pass for $199. Haven't been disappointed after a couple of hours of use. First thing I did was to switch auto renewal off on LP but because I don't trust them I also tried to delete my credit card info, but they wouldn't let me. Exporting all info was easy but they passed it all into a readable PHP file in my Chrome browser, which annoyed me. Managed to get to a csv file, dragged it over into proton pass and it was all set up. Checked all the information seemed okay and then went in to delete my LP account. Again, all straightforward. Total transfer and delete operation took 15 minutes. I only hope closing down chrome browser with the PHP page passwords and sending the CSV file to my Mac bin and emptying it is sufficient protection. Now I have the massive task of sorting through up to a 1,000 data entries into folders and potentially updating every single password (since LP has probably compromised them. Thank you guys!)

r/PasswordManagers · Could LastPass gain your trust back?

I too was with LastPass and left when the free plan changed for the worse. I won't go back because: 1. Two data breaches. They're the only password manager to have had one let alone two. 2. Lack of communication. They took how many years to reveal these breaches? 3. The free plan is a POS. 4. I wouldn't give my money to a company that can't communicate to their customers. 5. Lack of MFA code integration with the main product. 6. There are superior products out there like the free version of Bitwarden or the powerful 1Password (not free.)

    r/PasswordManagers · bitwarden vs nordpass 2025

My first non-browser password manager was LastPass, which was an okay experience up until they started pay-walling features that used to be free. Oh, and their almost constant data breaches I then moved to Nordpass for 4ish years, which was okay. They retired the desktop client sometime last year which sucked as it was definitely the easier way to use it, the browser extension tended to be a bit temperamental, it became infinitely more temperamental after they shoved more features in to it due to the retirement of the desktop client. My main issue is their subscription renewal terms are quite annoying. I've been using Bitwarden for a month or so and it's been okay. The UI has some annoying quirks and definitely doesn't look as polished compared to others I've used. It's got some good additional features as well. Overall it's a good choice from what I've seen. Could definitely be better but it's certainly not the worst I've seen.

    r/PasswordManagers · Lastpass Renewal Experience

My suggestion: Export your LastPass vault, import it into Bitwarden, run them in parallel and see how it goes. I was also a LastPass user until the breach two or three years ago. I started with LastPass when the free plan was more generous devices you could use. I moved to the family plan because I wanted my wife to move off Google passwords. I suspect that there’s some hesitation to move off because of the time and familiarity with LastPass, I had that as well. Considering the breach I thought it prudent to get a backup of my LP vault. I then saw that Bitwarden had a means to import the LP vault and I could try it out in parallel with the free tier. After a few days I had no hesitation to switch over completely and I got my wife to move over as well.

r/PasswordManagers · Advice moving away from lastpass?

I just switched from LP to bitwarden a couple weeks ago, and TBH I find it a pain in the ass. It's always locking my vault. Also many times it won't fill apps, so I have to open it, search the app, copy the PW, switch back to the thing I'm trying to open, and paste. That's *six steps*. LP was a lot better about filling passwords and wasn't constantly locking my vault. Yes I know I can adjust the unlocked time on BW, but even so...

r/PasswordManagers · bitwarden vs proton pass: which autofill actually works?

I've been on BitWarden since the 2021 LastPass breach. It feels pretty similar to LastPass which made it easy to switch to. It's FOSS, which also appeals to me. That said, I've been eying Proton Pass lately. The three main reasons I'm thinking of leaving BitWarden are: 1. They've been getting involved more and more with venture capital / private equity recently, which concerns me about the long-term direction of the app in terms of QC, pricing, etc. Furthermore, their longtime CEO pivoted to an advisory role earlier this year, and his replacement specializes in mergers and acquisition. Too many smoke signs warning of a potential impending sale, and likely to an ownership group that doesn't share the same values. 2. Speaking of values, BitWarden removed values of "always free" and "inclusion" from its website earlier this year as well. Yeah, feels like the writing is on the wall. 3. From a simple use perspective, their web extension has had on and off issues the past few years, including a recent memory leak that was bad enough that it caused my browser to crash more than once. That leak has been fixed now, but their extension just hasn't been great generally for a while.

r/PasswordManagers · Just got another breach email from LastPass, what is actually the most secure password manager right now?

I just had my Lastpass annual renewal happen, and I also wanted to reconsider things because of the Klue breach. I didn't want to put in the work after the 2022 breach, but decided not to let it go again. I ended up asking lastpass support for callback and requested a refund. I got the refund. I only use Google Chrome, Android (again Chrome), and a Chromebook (so another Google Chrome), so I decided to just use Google password manager, but I did that after deciding to enable Google Advanced protection to really lock down my Google account. Google is one of the password manager options that had not yet had a security breach, and if you use Google advanced protection you achieve the highest level of security for your Google account and its free. But you'll end up wanting to buy at least 2 yubico keys which are not free. Also if you enable on-device encryption, this encrypts the password vault, so its the zero knowledge setup your asking for. Your passwords are always encrypted - you just have a choice of who manages the key ( Google or yourself ). So for me coming from Lastpass + Lastpass Authenticator + Lastpass vault secure notes -> Google password manager, Google Authenticator, enabled Google Advanced protection, enabled on-device encryption, enrolled my phone, chromebook and 2 yubico keys as hardware passkeys, and lastly use Joplin with encryption enabled and storing its database to Google drive ( this is where secure notes went ).

i remember having a very uncomfortable conversation with lastpass support in which they wanted me to verify who i was by mentioning a couple of recently added or modified urls within my database, of which alarm bells immediately went off. it turns out that they weren’t encrypting urls at that time (and this wasn’t early stage of their presence). for most people, it might not have mattered, but i had some urls with the username/password in https url format for easy of use. i pretty much immediately migrated away after that.

r/PasswordManagers · NordPass vs LastPass - quick comparison

Thanks for this NordPass vs LastPass comparison, although there's not much to compare, honestly. I think the winner is pretty obvious. I also agree with the people mentioning LastPass's history of data breaches. That was a big factor for me too. LastPass is a piece of shit in my opinion - outdated, questionable security track record, and poor communication with customers. I could go on, but that probably won't do anyone any favors (especially me lol). I switched to NordPass (used a code "prodeal") and haven't looked back since. Anyway, welcome to the club, OP, and good riddance.

Bitwarden is still probably the easy default if you want open source and don’t want to babysit anything, but I wouldn’t treat it as the only good answer. KeePassXC makes sense if you want local-first, Vaultwarden if you’re already comfortable self-hosting, and Psono is another one I’d put on the list if the self-hosted/team side matters. Coming from LastPass, almost any of those will feel less annoying.

Bitwarden is a solid choice if you want a simple open-source password manager for personal use. The free plan is strong, and moving from LastPass makes sense if you want something cleaner and less restrictive. For teams or enterprise use, I would also look at something like password vault for enterprises since it is built more for shared password management, access controls, approvals, and auditing. For personal use though, Bitwarden is a very practical starting point.

You are making a great move. LastPass is heavily restricted now, whereas Bitwarden is widely considered the best free, open-source password manager available. Why Bitwarden Beats LastPass 100% Free Multi-Device Sync: Unlike LastPass, Bitwarden lets you sync unlimited passwords across both your phone and computer simultaneously for free. Open Source & Secure: The code is completely public and audited by security pros, making it much safer than LastPass. Easy Migration: Bitwarden has a direct "Import from LastPass" tool that moves your vault over in minutes. Other Open-Source Alternatives Proton Pass: Newer, very sleek, and includes free email-masking aliases. KeePass: Completely offline and local. Great for tech experts, but has no built-in cloud syncing. The Bottom Line: Switch to Bitwarden. It gives you everything LastPass used to offer, completely for free, with vastly better security.🌐🌐

Yes. It is. Old boss got me on lastpass over a decade ago. Always had issues logging in to it. Then they made the change that free plan only allowed one device access. Stopped using it. Found bitwarden last year and moved everything off of web browser storage and Microsoft Authenticator. Organization options are a lot better. Auto fill is a bit of an issue sometimes, but workable.

    r/PasswordManagers · Leaving Safari + iCloud aliases - 1Password + addy.io or switch to Proton Pass?

I switched from LastPass (I know...) to Proton Pass a couple weeks ago and have been absolutely loving it. Simplelogin aliases are a breeze to setup with the basic/premium domains or even my own custom domains. When you go to set up a new account or enter your email with the extension running (or Android app in my mobile case) it asks you if you want to create an alias and you can customize it as well if you want. You can create an alias at the same time as you're signing up for something asking for an email for your account too so you don't have to do multiple things to create a new login and alias. The extension and android integration work much better than LastPass ever did for me on mobile, and just as good as what I was used to on desktop. I also ditched Authy for Ente Auth as I don't like keeping all my eggs in one basket (MFA tokens and Passwords in the same app)

r/PasswordManagers · Does anyone here still use LastPass? Or did you switch for good?

i think a lot of people left after the breaches, which is understandable. But I also know some teams that didn’t bother switching just because migrating hundreds of logins across employees can be a pain. At the end of the day most businesses still need some kind of centralized password manager, especially if a small team is sharing accounts. Things like encrypted vaults, password generators, secure sharing, and autofill across devices are way better than keeping passwords in spreadsheets. For small businesses I still see tools like LastPass used pretty often since it has admin controls, password sharing, syncing, and dark web monitoring in one place. That’s also why it still pops up on G2 lists for best password managers for small businesses. For personal use it’s mostly preference, but for SMB teams the management side usually matters more.

I think it really comes down to how you manage your overall account security and what features matter most. For me, a big benefit of using a password manager like LastPass is the encrypted vault that securely stores and autofills passwords across all your devices - its super handy not having to remember dozens of logins and it syncs seamlessly. I also appreciate tools that offer password sharing, darkweb monitoring, and automatic form fill, which can simplify daily browsing and improve security hygiene. That said, I totally get why some people moved away after past incidents or in favor of other functionality - and whether you stick with LastPass or switch to something like Bitwarden or 1Password often comes down to how comfortable you are with the trust model and overall feature set.

Apple doesn't take the csv, Chrome won't take a csv larger than 3000 passwords, Bitwarden had half of my passwords empty and wouldn't recognize the site I was on to fill it in. Left after the 2022 breach and never looked back. The breach itself was bad, but what really got me was how they handled the communication — downplaying it at first, then slowly revealing how much was actually compromised over months. Switched to Bitwarden initially since it was the easiest migration path and open source. Have since tried 1Password and a few others. Honestly, for most people the differences between the top-tier options are marginal — they all handle the core job well. The bigger lesson for me was doing the comparison properly rather than just going with whatever's popular. There are some solid breakdowns out there that compare the security architecture, not just features. No scenario where I'd go back to LastPass. Trust is hard to rebuild after something like that.

I'm still using LastPass and have not had issues. It remains feature rich with functionality I use, and it is not a trivial effort for me to migrate. The company has taken steps to mitigate risks from prior mistakes. For my own risk management, I have a couple of apps chosen that I'd migrate to. However, in monitoring and reading feedback on LastPass and their competition, there are ample complaints, issues, pros, and cons with all available options. Second, the Passkey support is all over the place with these apps and with overall adoption. The Passkey adoption could force major change, but the complexity for the average user remains quite high. At some point, these broader environmental forces will evolve and could force all hands (apps, users, PW Manager vendors) to change.

There is no perfect password manager. It's going to be the password manager that has the features and gui you work and tthe price that you are willing to pay for. There aren't too many competitor for Bitwarden for free tier. There is proton, but various post indicate that it's less baked than Bitwarden at this time. You may find that some of the items didn't export properly. You can store things like your passport in last pass and some of them may not export properly. Your password item should work. The other thing to consider is that you will need to relearn how to use the new password manager. Change your mindset to learn how the other PW do things. If you feel that it must work like Last Pass then you should stay with last pass.

    r/PasswordManagers · LastPass exasperates me

LastPass has had multiple leaks over the last few years. Entire customer password databases were stolen due to poor security, poor process control, and poor management. Not just once - multiple times. They are your worst possible choice next to storing passwords in an Excel sheet. The info stolen was encrypted with the users master password so it’s not immediately useful to the hackers, but as time goes on and compute power increases, there will come a time when that info can be decrypted. You need to migrate to a new password manager and update all your passwords ASAP. Something like 1Password, Bitwarden, or ProtonPass.

    r/PasswordManagers · I Lastpass a viable option now?

Nope! Avoid avoid avoid! Not only have they had breaches, but they will routinely block you from your own account. They do not have a phone line with any support, and to even get to a human chat, you have to login. You will find you can't even get to the human to tell them your login is blocked due to them not sending two factor codes, working with lastpass is constant purgatory.

r/PasswordManagers · Recommendations switching from Lastpass

Are you dependent on it being cloud based? Both Keepass and Enpass are good options for the ultimate in security: a local password database. There are various ways to sync to other devices if necessary. I had LassPass and their breach scared me away from cloud based PMs.

r/PasswordManagers · Could LastPass gain your trust back?

Horrible product. They've just not kept up. The amount of frustration they add to my life is not worth it. I'm switching to another paid password service after 10 years. I hate to do it, but it's clear these guys are staying on top of their customer UX.

r/PasswordManagers · Just moved from LastPass to 1Password & love the change

I think I'm going to join you. I'm so f\*\*king frustrated with LastPass. It takes so much effort to re-login to it and when I do, it says my vault is empty, so I have to f\*\*k around to try to get back to my vault. It won't fill in my passwords for me for a while. I have to leave the add-in, login to the site, go to the vault to find the password I need and copy/paste it into the site i'm logging into. So frustrating. A password manager should be there when you need it and not add extra stress to my life. I'm pretty much done with it and look forward to a better password manager.

    r/PasswordManagers · I Lastpass a viable option now?

Thanks for the feedback. Not using a password manager right now but am looking at using Bitwarden for our 3 computers. I was just curious if Lastpass had cleaned it up since a few years ago they were very prevalent. As has been noted in comments, a big reason nobody is recommending them is not just the breach but really bad follow up. That makes sense, stuff will happen, the real test is how that is handled. Thanks everyone.

honestly i'd stay away from lastpass. they had multiple breaches and were pretty sketchy about how they handled it. trust is hard to rebuild in security. if you're looking at alternatives, Password Manager by 2Stable is solid if you're on apple devices. has everything built in including 2FA codes, works great with the ecosystem. free for 2 accounts too. what platform are you mainly using?

Lastpass is POS. I'm forced to use it because my organization is too lazy to switch password managers. There's a crappy bug in Edge browser where the Lastpass extension hangs and you have to reinstall it every time.

    r/PasswordManagers · I Lastpass a viable option now?

I don’t even know if I care that they were breached. Their software just sucks. We use last pass at work, so I get access to a free family account (I don’t use it). I still pay for 1Password Family account cause I’d rather pay than use last pass.

    r/PasswordManagers · I Lastpass a viable option now?

LastGasp keeps stumbling. The problem is no that they have been breached. The problem is they cannot (or will not) learn from their mistakes. Sure, any software offering can have errors in it: the important measure is whether they correct the error and take steps so that error (or a related problem) does not recur. LP has not done that.

I used to use them but because of multiple breaches, none of which they handled adequately, I dipped out years ago. I would not trust them myself regardless of what they say. They were caught being dishonest too many times.

r/PasswordManagers · Could LastPass gain your trust back?

Meh. I think the tell a reasonable story (even if it is "Branded Content By LastPass" = ad as u/MrZibbles observed). Sure they deserved to lose everyone's trust a few years back, but how long do you hold that against them when they have the same certs as the other players? I don't know the right answer. If open source were not important to me I might give them a look along with OnePass (although no doubt OnePass has a better reputation). For me open source is non-negotiable, which limits the space primarily to bitwarden and protonpass

    r/PasswordManagers · Why not keePass?

I'll walk back some comments on Keepass.. I didn't realize that Keepass can use a front end like Strongbox... So.. Ioaded Strongbox and it's better than Keepass appearance wise. Still.. not the best UI, I'd still rate over Bitwarden. It does have some nice features, it brought over ALL 1PW attachments (where BW fails) and it even has tags and brought them over as well. And.. it has expiration dates! Feature for feature, from a cursory 30 minute trial, it blows Bitwarden away. All in all not a bad experience, the UI could use some lipstick. It show everything in a "list view" where I kept looking for something a little different. Though they are a mess from a company perspective, I did like the LastPass "card view". I think Dashlane does similar. All said, not bad...

r/PasswordManagers · What Password Manager Is Better In Your Opinion 1Password, Bitwarden, LastPass, Dashlane, Or Proton Pass And Why?

I'm in a similar boat. I love 1Password, but I like having an exit plan if pricing jumps. For free options, Bitwarden's been the most solid for me so far: it's open source, has a legit free forever tier with unlimited passwords and devices, and importing from 1Password via CSV is straightforward. If you ever end up running a small team or business, LastPass is worth a look too, they've rebuilt a lot of their security stack since the breach, and G2 keeps ranking them a top password manager with especially strong marks for small-business usability, ROI, and secure sharing. So they've definitely made a change for the better.

r/PasswordManagers · I recommend everyone to take a back up of everything in Lastpass right now and close it asap

I know that there are lots of people who around here who treat self-hosting as the end all and be all of self reliance, but it isn’t for everyone. And unless one those people commit to helping you though the process and are willing to continue to provide you support as you run into trouble down the road it is not for you. Instead find a password management service that won’t lock you out of your data if the service becomes unavailable and where you are a paying customer so you get support. My biased, but sincere, recommendation is 1Password (I used to work for them, and I have an interest in its continued success), but there are others. Perhaps even LastPass (which I personally despise for any number of reasons) offers apps you run on your own devices that keep a local copy your data. Normally, I would never recommend LastPass to anyone, but as you are already using them, your best bet might be to just ask them whether there is a set up in which your data is backed up on your device..

I’ve used NordPass and 1Password too, both have their strengths. If you’re exploring alternatives, LastPass is another one that worked well for me especially with autofill across devices. Sometimes it’s just about which one feels smoothest for your own workflow OP.

r/PasswordManagers · Move away from LastPass?

Be careful with LastPass. A lot of users have discovered just how unreliable their support and security practices really are — often too late. Whether you’re having login issues, lost access, or just trying to get help, don’t expect much. At this point, it’s worth reconsidering using their service at all.

    r/PasswordManagers · Lastpass Renewal Experience

Ditto - I did exactly the same last year (lastpass -> bitwarden) and am much happier. Lastpass was getting buggy and riskier and one had to pay for the privilege. Bitwarden is great and, as it allows/supports self-hosting, I am probably going to migrate to self-hosting when I find time to get it working.

r/PasswordManagers · Leaving LastPass. Using Apple Passwords + Bitwarden as Backup/Shared Vault – My Hybrid Setup

I have used LastPass , Proton Pass, Apple password and now1Password. I left last past years ago when they had their breach. I tried Proton Pass and it’s pretty decent, but at the time it didn’t fill credit cards although it does now. I tried Apple passwords and it was pretty good but moved onto Bitwarden as I don’t want to be locked into any ecosystem if I ever need to leave Apple. I recently left Bitwarden 1Password as it has a better phone features and my Bitwarden chrome extension took ages to load and kept on freezing. Bitwarden is still good. I was having some issues with access in the family vaults.

r/PasswordManagers · NordPass Review (Pros/Cons), and comparisons with LastPass

I’ve been using 1Password since this post for the last year and it’s fantastic. UI is excellent, support has been fast and helpful when needed (mostly contacted then when exploring features), app is updated regularly with newsletter summarizing new features. Password sharing works great also; I remember they’re being a few minutes or even an hour delay with LastPass. With 1Password shared “vault” system, sharing is immediate. 1Password also has some nice keyboard shortcuts that work well, and nice search features like tags and keywords, so you don’t have to type in the exact website you’re looking for when searching the desktop application.

r/PasswordManagers · Advice moving away from lastpass?

Yeah ice heard good things. I'm trying out Bitwardeb first to see how it goes. If not I'll upgrade. Someone mentioned sometimes Bitwardeb doesn't auto populate or prompt to fill in, so I hope 1password is better. Last pass used to be super annoying like this. Not working sometimes and forcing popups when not necessary

r/PasswordManagers · Could LastPass gain your trust back?

Nope Lastpass lost my trust before the big breach. I was a premium user and was not able to access my account. Tech Support was no help and gave me canned responses until I called them out on Twitter. At that point they admitted that something had corrupted my account. After 2 weeks of no access I switched to Dashlane and since then to Bitwarden. Had to block them on my debit account as I was not able to log in even to cancel the account. They had an offline backup tool that was able to login and download my vault.
