howdoesthisworkfuckr/RobotVacuums · Which roller mop for 1st robot vacuum? →2025-10-03
If noise is your priority, the Narwal Flow is by far the most quiet and pleasing sound to be around. The Aqua10 annoyed me greatly. Here is a comparison review I did of the two and I include a sound comparison. https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1nnmoi5/dreame_aqua_10_ultra_roller_vs_narwal_flow_ama/

Shinzakor/RobotVacuums · Had Enough- Dreame Aqua 10 ultra is going back - what should I get as a replacement? →2025-11-24
I was in a similar situation as you and tried the Flow after being dissapointed with the Aqua 10. The flow after multiple days of vacuuming didn’t clog once and the entire dust bin container was free of dust. The pre filter mechanism is really cool, bag had a lot of pet fur but only a tiny film of dust visible around the dust bin openings and none in the bin itself. Mapping was a lot faster than the Aqua 10. The map customization was worse than Dreame IMO but overall was able to program it in a similar way than I did with my old Dreame robots. Vacuuming took a similar amount of time to an old X40 on intensive carpet cleaning mode, around 2 hours 30 minutes for 800 square feet on the highest suction and intensive pathing setting. The robot didn’t get stuck on smart desk chairs like the Aqua 10 did, roller stayed clean with no hair tangles, and felt a lot more sturdy/well thought out overall. On medium pile crappy carpets it vacuumed well. No cat litter on hard floor, no random dust balls anywhere. My issue with the flow is the one Vacuum Wars ran into where I keep getting error 2017 clean tank not recognized. Currently returning it and getting a replacement. Spoke with their customer support and they gave me instructions to prime the pump but still had no success so just returning and hoping the next one doesn’t have the same problem. If it wasn’t for the pump priming issue, this robot would be near perfect in my opinion. With Dreame I would be setting the robot to mop every day so I’d manually fill the water every 1-2 days, adding a capful of detergent as part of this process isn’t really an issue, if it would actually detect the tank. Aqua however has the dust bin looking filthy after just one run, which completely defeats the purpose of the HEPA filter if it clogs and needs to be cleaned each day.

Educational_Coast520r/RobotVacuums · My Detailed Comparison: Mova V50 Ultra Complete vs. Narwal Flow →2025-09-03
Thanks for the comparison. Off-peak Charging can be set on my Narwal, so I assume Flow has that option as well. Also, Flow has a plumbing model, so it seems strange to count it among the advantages of Mova, which currently has no plumbing option. Unfortunately Flow's 3 year warranty seems to be only for initial purchasers. Avoiding garbage fluff balls is partly a trade-off for obstacle avoidance performance, but can you tell it not to avoid them?

Gunflint_RR2r/Lymow_Official · Dear Lymow: Neato vacuums had superior navigation over a decade ago →2026-07-02
I never had Neato, but I have a few Narwal Flows (1 and 2) that are extremely "smart". I do think outdoors is a much higher level of analysis, so i wouldn't rate indoor tech with outdoor. That being said, Lymow could upgrade their app. It's also obvious they need to do LIDAR as the tech has come a long way. I think some of the hardware choices have been suspect. The software is good, though it needs upgrades.

Thirtysixxr/RobotVacuums · Which roller mop for 1st robot vacuum? →2025-10-03
Leaking docks, issues with certain water types triggering the robot to not detect the tank is full. Vacuum wars had to fill his up with bottled water to get it to work. Dark carpet issues. It has the least known issues for sure but I still see the same ones cropping up with the flow

This is silly because the Flow is extremely quiet in its own right

We've got a narwal flow and it is one of my favorite things in my house. We have a routine that toddler helps clean up toys before bath and then after he's asleep I do a more thorough tidy of the house. Vacuum/ mop runs over night. It's so wonderful to wake up to clean floors. I got him to help cleaning up regularly by telling him if his toys are left out the vacuum will eat them so he's often prompting me to help clean them up at the end of the day.

Joeyjojo65r/Roborock · Roborock (Saros 10) — 2 Month Experience →2026-03-13
I'm not a fan of the spinning mop pads, not good for my old wood floors. I'm actually looking at saros 10 because of the vibrarise. I'm after the adaptalift chassis and I like how slim it is. If I could justify the price I'd love a narwal flow but not spending $2100 on a robotic vacuum. I'm just waiting on a sale, then I'm getting the saros 10 cause it ticks a lot of boxes for me.

Well the roller mops tend to clean better especially if you have grout lines in your lvp in your whole house is pretty much lvp does do a better job but the spinning mops definitely have their place the only reason I gave up my Z Ultra is because the velcro tape that holds the spinning mops started to come up after a year I don't think that glue can handle the heated mop washing well! But it did do fabulously but not as good as the flow but it could also get around certain objects and carpet better because it could lift up one mop and it never wet my carpet where is my flow did?? I guess everybody's experience is different!

I wouldn't call the Flow bulletproof either. It seems to struggle with dark carpeting as it doesn't have a traditional hardware carpet sensor.

For pet hair pickup and hard floors some good options to look into are the Roborock Qrevo Curv, Qrevo Edge, or Soros 10R. Any Roborock with the duodivide main brush does a really good job with pet hair without tangling. Narwal has a couple solid options for hard floors with tons of hair in the Narwal Freo Z ultra and Narwal Flow.

Avoiding a hairball is a plus especially running it on a schedule. Squeaking after four uses is not.

Careful-Ad-8704r/RobotVacuums · Want to return Eufy E28 for ECOVACS X8 Omni or Mova Z50 Ultra. Need advice :) →2025-06-20
It worked rather well, I had figured out how to use the app and they have made updates since, but certain details convinced me to send it back: the maintenance it requires: I put detergent, I left it in powerful drying and I did maintenance once a week and yet the station smelled bad. The noise too, it is very loud. Finally, I almost never used the spot cleaner. Also, I don’t think the vacuum uses the detergent, in several months the level has barely moved. And the fact that it doesn’t fit under my kitchen cabinets… I have the narwal since few days. For the moment, what can I say is the e28 was little more powerfull in vaccum and was faster to clean the house. Mop is better with the narwal Flow, but not a huge difference.

I consider it to be a pro because Mova is really quiet, literally like a cat and the Flow is a bit louder.
