r/RobotVacuums · Which roller mop for 1st robot vacuum? If noise is your priority, the Narwal Flow is by far the most quiet and pleasing sound to be around. The Aqua10 annoyed me greatly. Here is a comparison review I did of the two and I include a sound comparison. r/RobotVacuums · Had Enough- Dreame Aqua 10 ultra is going back - what should I get as a replacement? I was in a similar situation as you and tried the Flow after being dissapointed with the Aqua 10. The flow after multiple days of vacuuming didn’t clog once and the entire dust bin container was free of dust. The pre filter mechanism is really cool, bag had a lot of pet fur but only a tiny film of dust visible around the dust bin openings and none in the bin itself. Mapping was a lot faster than the Aqua 10. The map customization was worse than Dreame IMO but overall was able to program it in a similar way than I did with my old Dreame robots. Vacuuming took a similar amount of time to an old X40 on intensive carpet cleaning mode, around 2 hours 30 minutes for 800 square feet on the highest suction and intensive pathing setting. The robot didn’t get stuck on smart desk chairs like the Aqua 10 did, roller stayed clean with no hair tangles, and felt a lot more sturdy/well thought out overall. On medium pile crappy carpets it vacuumed well. No cat litter on hard floor, no random dust balls anywhere. My issue with the flow is the one Vacuum Wars ran into where I keep getting error 2017 clean tank not recognized. Currently returning it and getting a replacement. Spoke with their customer support and they gave me instructions to prime the pump but still had no success so just returning and hoping the next one doesn’t have the same problem. If it wasn’t for the pump priming issue, this robot would be near perfect in my opinion. With Dreame I would be setting the robot to mop every day so I’d manually fill the water every 1-2 days, adding a capful of detergent as part of this process isn’t really an issue, if it would actually detect the tank. Aqua however has the dust bin looking filthy after just one run, which completely defeats the purpose of the HEPA filter if it clogs and needs to be cleaned each day.

r/RobotVacuums · My Detailed Comparison: Mova V50 Ultra Complete vs. Narwal Flow Thanks for the comparison. Off-peak Charging can be set on my Narwal, so I assume Flow has that option as well. Also, Flow has a plumbing model, so it seems strange to count it among the advantages of Mova, which currently has no plumbing option. Unfortunately Flow's 3 year warranty seems to be only for initial purchasers. Avoiding garbage fluff balls is partly a trade-off for obstacle avoidance performance, but can you tell it not to avoid them?
r/RobotVacuums · My Detailed Comparison: Mova V50 Ultra Complete vs. Narwal Flow On my Narwal Freo X Plus, Off-peak Charging is in Settings>General. But from what I saw in youtube video, Flow didn't seem to be in the same place. The dreame plumbing options don't seem to fit the V50. https://www.reddit.com/r/MOVA_robotvacuum/comments/1n0x0rp/mova_x50_ultra_with_refill_drainage_from_the Whether Flow will mop again in Freo mode depends on how dirty the mop (and possibly the water in the sewage tank) is when the robot returns to the station to clean. If most of the dirt you want removed is not removed the first time, the mopping of that area should end at that time.It may be better if you reduce the interval between mop rewashes.
r/RobotVacuums · My Detailed Comparison: Mova V50 Ultra Complete vs. Narwal Flow I would be surprised if Off-peak Charging is no more. That would be a shame. On Narwal's site, the plumbing models are not available for us to order right now; the plumbing options for the Freo Z may unofficially apply to the Flow as well, but I don't know. I have not heard of a plumbing option that fits the Mova V50, are you sure about that? Well, as long as it is not available at this time, this is a draw. As for obstacle avoidance, ideally the robot would clean objects that the user specifies without avoiding them. That may change someday if you continue to specify ignore.

r/RobotVacuums · Which roller mop for 1st robot vacuum? Leaking docks, issues with certain water types triggering the robot to not detect the tank is full. Vacuum wars had to fill his up with bottled water to get it to work. Dark carpet issues. It has the least known issues for sure but I still see the same ones cropping up with the flow
r/RobotVacuums · Which roller mop for 1st robot vacuum? It happened to two of his robots so that’s not just one defective unit. But you can search the narwal sub Reddit, other users have noted the base station not detecting water despite being full.
r/RobotVacuums · Which roller mop for 1st robot vacuum? I wouldn’t get any of these first generation of Roller mops. Z60, Aqua 10, and Narwal flow all have consistent issues. And so does the Eufy S1 pro.
r/RobotVacuums · Track Mops vs Roller Mops vs Spinning Pads: Are the New ‘Real-Time Cleaning’ Robots Worth It? I disagree. Pressure per cm² isn’t the only thing that matters, and honestly, it’s not even the biggest factor in how well a mop cleans. If that logic held, we’d all wipe up messes with one finger instead of our using our whole hand. A roller concentrating force on a tiny strip doesn’t automatically equal better scrubbing. Friction speed and coverage matter just as much. A narrow roller has less surface making contact with the floor, which means it’s doing less actual work per pass. And because such a small area is carrying the load, it clogs and smears dirt faster than a track mop unless it’s constantly washed. That’s a trade-off, not an advantage. On top of that, robots don’t all apply the same pressure just because they weigh the same. Some designs use springs or motorized pressing arms to increase downward force. So the idea that rollers are capped at “maximum pressure” because of robot weight isn’t right either. Cleaning is a balance of multiple factors — pressure, speed, contact area, water usage and dirt tolerance — not just pressure per square centimeter. Reducing it to “roller = best because tiny area = more pressure” oversimplifies things to the point of being misleading. > I have Eufy E25 and one tank lasts 12 days for me. It literally sips water. I appreciate the anecdote but it doesn't mean much without context. How often do you mop? How big is your space? How much of it is hard flooring? At the end of the day every robot is different in its water usage even between brands. Narwal flow has some of the best mopping on the market and they notoriously use a ton of water. Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track reviewers report that vacuum uses nearly half a tank of water for one cleaning of a <1000 sq foot apartment. Generally speaking most rollers and track mops on the market chug through water much faster than spinning mops. In future though there is a difference between misinformation and you having a different opinion.

r/RobotVacuums · Big Deal Day Recommendations by Price Band - These are the robots I'd buy I'd only consider the Saros and Flow from this list. You're going to need to learn to sweep the floor of toys before running your robot. Your robot will avoid the toys, but in doing so, it'll also avoid a lot of your floor.
r/RobotVacuums · I'm a robot reporter, here's my Black Friday recommendations by price band so, the area rugs have to be tacked down really well. Like, a ruggable is fine for most robots, but if the edges of your rug curl at all, your robot is going to get stuck. For the vinyl plank, they tend to have these line impressions that run the length of the plank. Almost like wood. For those instances, I think a roller would work best, going w the grain. So, I say go w the Flow. My issue about moving robots between floors is that you're losing the most important thing about a robot: autonomy. You have to shuttle it between floors. But lets say you were going w two robots, I'd grab a Eureka J15 for the carpet.
r/RobotVacuums · I'm a robot reporter, here's my Black Friday recommendations by price band I mean, the big difference between the two is the roller. I don't think its missing, they're just different. The 10R was better at nav, and I think allocated water/managed water better than the flow. BUT... the flow has a better mop, 10r is a better vacuum.
r/RobotVacuums · I'm a robot reporter, here's my Black Friday recommendations by price band While I don't agree that roller mops are the new sliced bread, I'm a huge fan of the 3i S10 Ultra (see above). If that doesn't do it for you, my backup would be the Narwal Flow.
r/RobotVacuums · Big Deal Day Recommendations by Price Band - These are the robots I'd buy The flow is a better mop, but a less effective vacuum, particularly for long hair.
r/RobotVacuums · Big Deal Day Recommendations by Price Band - These are the robots I'd buy robots are ALWAYS on sale for any holiday. So if you see what you want now, buy it. If the model you want isn't on sale, wait. Yeah, I think the discounts may go deeper for Black Friday, but not much, in all honesty, and the difference is 2 months of usage, so its a wash. The high end models I'd recommend (Saros, 3i S10, Flow) are all on sale tomorrow.
r/RobotVacuums · Big Deal Day Recommendations by Price Band - These are the robots I'd buy Flow. I think there IS a big difference between them, and if you have the coins to go to a Flow, I would.
r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Deals That's a tough one for both levels together. I actually don't think any of the selections you made would fit in that budget if you were to get two of them. I'd rather see you get one pretty good robot then two kind of bleh.ones

r/toddlers · Robot vacuum cleaners We've got a narwal flow and it is one of my favorite things in my house. We have a routine that toddler helps clean up toys before bath and then after he's asleep I do a more thorough tidy of the house. Vacuum/ mop runs over night. It's so wonderful to wake up to clean floors. I got him to help cleaning up regularly by telling him if his toys are left out the vacuum will eat them so he's often prompting me to help clean them up at the end of the day.

r/Dreame_Tech · Dreame X50 Ultra vs MOVA V50 Ultra for the same price? I haven’t tried the original flow, the only reason I didn’t get the original flow is because it doesn’t have an auto detergent tank, that’s actually the only thing that would’ve stopped me from grabbing the flow too is if it didn’t have an out detergent tank. It’s not a dealbreaker for a lot of people, unfortunately for me it is.

r/RobotVacuums · Had Enough- Dreame Aqua 10 ultra is going back - what should I get as a replacement? Well the roller mops tend to clean better especially if you have grout lines in your lvp in your whole house is pretty much lvp does do a better job but the spinning mops definitely have their place the only reason I gave up my Z Ultra is because the velcro tape that holds the spinning mops started to come up after a year I don't think that glue can handle the heated mop washing well! But it did do fabulously but not as good as the flow but it could also get around certain objects and carpet better because it could lift up one mop and it never wet my carpet where is my flow did?? I guess everybody's experience is different!

r/RobotVacuums · Which roller mop for 1st robot vacuum? Vacuum Nerds tested at normal suction Narwal Flow is 55 db. Super Powerful setting is 65 dbs. Vacuum Wars should be releasing their video review any day now. It's currently rated at #2 on that site, so you can see objective results already. That site had an issue with a base station water reading in two successive units, but I haven't seen that anywhere else. I haven't heard that the Chinese version, which has been out for much of this year, is experiencing the same issue, so it appears to be an anomaly. There have been some issues reported with hard-plumbed base stations; some may be due to installation errors, while hardware failures may cause others. I've run mine multiple times a week for 4 weeks, with no issues. I'm mostly hardwood and marble tile, and this unit has been terrific for me. Many times I run it at 2 a.m. downstairs and it does not wake me, my wife or my dogs.

r/RobotVacuums · Want to return Eufy E28 for ECOVACS X8 Omni or Mova Z50 Ultra. Need advice :) It worked rather well, I had figured out how to use the app and they have made updates since, but certain details convinced me to send it back: the maintenance it requires: I put detergent, I left it in powerful drying and I did maintenance once a week and yet the station smelled bad. The noise too, it is very loud. Finally, I almost never used the spot cleaner. Also, I don’t think the vacuum uses the detergent, in several months the level has barely moved. And the fact that it doesn’t fit under my kitchen cabinets… I have the narwal since few days. For the moment, what can I say is the e28 was little more powerfull in vaccum and was faster to clean the house. Mop is better with the narwal Flow, but not a huge difference.

r/RobotVacuums · What to go for moving forwards? For pet hair pickup and hard floors some good options to look into are the Roborock Qrevo Curv, Qrevo Edge, or Soros 10R. Any Roborock with the duodivide main brush does a really good job with pet hair without tangling. Narwal has a couple solid options for hard floors with tons of hair in the Narwal Freo Z ultra and Narwal Flow.

r/RobotVacuums · My Detailed Comparison: Mova V50 Ultra Complete vs. Narwal Flow I might've missed the off-peak charging option. Maybe someone can guide me as to where it used to be and I'll look for it again. But when I was digging through the menus, I didn't spot it. If the Freo Z unofficially does work with the Flow then that's a big win for me. The V50 plumbing isn't official yet, but seeing that the Dreame twin has the plumbing option, I assumed the same that maybe it can unofficially be used with the V50 as well. So yeah, in a way I guess you're right. I'm going to edit my post to mention that it is unofficial. Yeah, I was trying to have it ignore the obstacle avoidance, but it wouldn't work. Obviously, I've cleaned out the big chunks by now and just had the crusty outer (gross), which the Flow was able to tackle with three passes in Mop only mode without issues. I don't know if the AI mode works that well yet on the Flow yet because when it does the morning schedule of doing the Mop and Vac in Freo mode, it doesn't go over the stain until it's gone. It could be because it can't tell the LVP flooring patterns apart from the stain, which could be a reason why.
r/RobotVacuums · My Detailed Comparison: Mova V50 Ultra Complete vs. Narwal Flow Maybe but not something i've observed. Could be that I have it in a setting a mode is running in the Flow. I am still learning to navigate the app because this is the first time for me to be using a Narwal product. The Mova app is similar to the Roborock app so the learning curve there isn't as steep.
r/RobotVacuums · My Detailed Comparison: Mova V50 Ultra Complete vs. Narwal Flow I was looking for that option for off-peak charging but couldn't find it anywhere. You're right, there is a plumbing option but that was almost $500 CAD more and a completely different base station where the Mova, like the Dreame is an attachment for $200 CAD more. I was trying to tell it to take care of it but it just wouldn't matter what I did. I tried to ignore the obstacle but it still wouldn't work.
r/RobotVacuums · My Detailed Comparison: Mova V50 Ultra Complete vs. Narwal Flow I consider it to be a pro because Mova is really quiet, literally like a cat and the Flow is a bit louder.

r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations by Price Band - These are the robots I'd buy I hate to ask as I’m sure you’ve been asked this a million times, but as I didn’t see it mentioned in this thread.. Have you had the opportunity to test Dreame Aqua 10 etc or Narwal Flow? If yes on either.. do you think they (it) are bette than the bots in your Prime Day list? I’ve been holding out for Flow for a few months due to its supposedly stellar mopping. Then I saw a couple of negative beta test reviews. Someone mentioned Aqua 10 was comparable so now I’m up in the air lol. If you believe both are overhyped I wonder if I could bother you for a recommendation? I know you have a pet list, but you only mentioned the doberman so I assume you don’t have cats. That track litter everywhere. I went from 0 to 9+ cats in 18 months. My floors are a collage of paw prints. I also foster kittens who are absolutely nasty (runny poos on the floor instead of in the litter box). I have no carpet. Only tile and hardwood. Is there a vac/mop that can save me any effort in the constant vacuuming litter and mopping tracks and messes? Obviously they shed too, but their hair seems to gather in convenient dust bunnies for easy pick up.

What is your priority? I've been using robot vacuums, saving me countless hours of cleaning, we upgraded from a Roborock S8 to the Narwal Flow. With our two dogs, we wanted great mopping and with the Flow we got that. We have a few carpets but nothing too big and we have no complains regarding vacuum or mopping results.
I got mine around 1k usd, plz wait for the spring sale.
