r/homeassistant · What's the best robot vacuum for home currently? Dreame L10s Ultra if you want mopping, Dreame D10s Plus if you just want vacuum.
r/homeassistant · What's your TOP PICK for the best Robot Vacuum Mop today? The Gen 2 is not supported by Valetudo, only the "regular" L10s Ultra.
r/homeassistant · What's the best robot vacuum for home currently? The D10s Plus does indeed have a mop but it is not the power (spinning) mops, it's just a fixed "drag" mop. The mop is also not self-cleaning at the base station and the base station does not have a water tank, so you have to manually fill the small water tank in the vacuum. Basically, the D10s Plus is just the cheapest Dreame vacuum you can get right now that has an auto empty base station for the vacuum part. Not something you probably want to get specifically for the mop feature. Moving to the L10s Pro Gen 2 you get a power mop but lose the auto empty base station. This is the cheapest vacuum so if you don't care about auto empty base station and just want a more basic vacuum this might be the better buy but having the auto empty base station is REALLY nice. It's a pretty minor price difference right now. The L10s Plus is the same vacuum as the L10s Pro Gen 2 but comes with an auto empty base station for the vacuum, but still no self-cleaning mops or water tanks in the base station. With the L10s Ultra you get the self-cleaning power mops and a base station with a clean water tank, a grey water tank, and water detergent dispenser. The water tank in the vacuum also gets automatically refilled from the tank in the base station. The L10s Pro Ultra adds heated water to the mop cleaning and one of the mop pads can swivel out a bit to help mop against edges. The advertised suction power of the vacuums also varies with the models, generally getting more powerful the higher up the model list you go. They all have lidar and camera systems and I'd guess the "AI" and obstacle avoidance features are the same in all models.
r/homeassistant · What's your TOP PICK for the best Robot Vacuum Mop today? The Gen 2 is not supported, only the "regular" L10s Ultra is supported.
r/homeassistant · What's your TOP PICK for the best Robot Vacuum Mop today? The value/performance ratio of the L10s Ultra is just so good. Every time I go look at the newer stuff from Dreame there's nothing fundamentally better. The upcoming X50 Ultra with lifting wheels does look really cool, but I personally have no use case for it. The L10s Ultra mops and vacuums really well and is very cheap now.
r/homeassistant · What's the best robot vacuum for home currently? The L10s Ultra is what I have and would highly recommend the mopping. Having it vacuum and mop the kitchen area every day after cooking is amazing. It's a bit horrifying how nasty the kitchen floors were getting previously.

r/homeassistant · What's your TOP PICK for the best Robot Vacuum Mop today? I went with Dreame L10s Ultra. It had decent (but not the best) results on vacuumwars, for its price it was good tho. It is supported by Valetudo and more importantly than to its exposed debug port it is very easy to flash Valetudo on. It does not require disassembling the whole vacuum and all warranty seals stay intact. A custom made PCB is required for the easy flashing to work tho but the components were super cheap and I was comfortable with soldering the PCB. Valetudo was really important for me because today's robots are rolling survivalence cameras and there are many leaks and stories about camera footage leaking on the internet captured by these robots. I wasn't comfortable letting a camera rolling around the house. I have an Iot VPN but I cannot use that for these vacuums with factory firmware because than the app just won't work no matter which wifi my phone uses. The apps always phone home instead of using LAN. Except Valetudo. It can work like that.

r/homeassistant · What's the best robot vacuum for home currently? I added the L10s Ultra to Home Assistant with the Dreame integration in HACS: [https://github.com/Tasshack/dreame-vacuum](https://github.com/Tasshack/dreame-vacuum) The process worked fine for me. Normally, I would have flashed the thing with Valetudo, but at the time the process for flashing the L10s was just way to difficult.

r/RobotVacuums · Black Friday Week Tips/Recommendations from a Robot Tester. My pleasure! The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 1 is over all a good value because it comes with mopping and a fully featured dock. The dock is pretty big, so if you're not going to use mopping it might not be the most ideal for you. As for the Dreame Z10 Pro, it's a model from 2021, and we haven't really tested a model similar to it, so I can't really comment on its performance. Theoretically, it looks okay, but that's just speculation based on quick research.
r/RobotVacuums · Black Friday Week Tips/Recommendations from a Robot Tester. That makes sense! I can't comment on its obstacle avoidance, unfortunately, since I haven't tested it. The X50 has the same brush rollers, and it was just okay for hard floor so that's something to keep in mind. The L10s ultra might be a better option for you since it has a single roller, which usually perform better on hard floor and has great obstacle avoidance. The dock is pretty huge, though, but you could take out the mop pads if you won't use them.
r/RobotVacuums · Black Friday Week Tips/Recommendations from a Robot Tester. Around that price, it's hard to find something that will do really well in all those things. Here are a few suggestions with pros and cons for each robot: * **Dreame L10s ultra (not the pro version)** * Pros * Good hard floor pickup * Great obstacle avoidance * Decent Mopping * Cons * Not the best at low pile carpet * A bit over your budget * **Switch Bot K10+** * Pros * Tiny robot that can fit into small spaces * Good on low pile carpet * Cons * Only okay on hard floor * Low capacity dust bin * No mopping * No obstacle avoidance * **Roborock Q7 M5+/S5+ (untested):** * Pro * Likely good on hard floor and low pile carpet. * Basic Mopping * Cons * No obstacle avoidance * Not tested by us Hoping this helps!
r/RobotVacuums · Black Friday Week Tips/Recommendations from a Robot Tester. The Eufy c20 did a great job at hard floor pickup, however it's more expensive than the L10s ultra though, which did a bit worse on hard floor. I'd also suggest looking into the Roborock Q7 series, we haven't tested them, but they seem like good bare-bones robots.
r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations from a Robot Tester Depends on your floor types really. If you mostly have hard floor, the L10s Ultra I recommended has pretty great obstacle avoidance if you want something in a similar price range. For something with even better obstacle avoidance and good on hard floors, the MOVA P10 Pro has one of the best obstacle avoidance systems we've tested. The problem with MOVA is that they've had a lot of quality control issues from what I've seen on this subreddit, so you'll have to be cautious of that.
r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations from a Robot Tester Oh that's concerning! Definitely should be going back and not just dying beforehand.
r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations from a Robot Tester Haven't tested the L10s Gen 2, but the [L10s Ultra](https://ca.dreametech.com/products/dreamebot-l10s-ultra) and [L10s Pro Ultra](https://ca.dreametech.com/products/l10s-pro-ultra) (Adds hot water and extending mop) are both cheaper than it. The L10s Ultra Gen 2 removed the RGB camera, which theoretically would likely make it worse for obstacle avoidance than the original. Not sure if it's any better at hardfloor pickup Between the L10s Ultras and the Qrevo, get the Qrevo for better hard floor pickup performance and get the L10s if you want obstacle avoidance. The Qrevo has an obstacle avoidance system, but it's very bad, whereas the L10s scored really well.
r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations from a Robot Tester Oh glad to hear! Not shocked about the battery. Most of our earlier robots here have already degraded quite a bit.
r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations from a Robot Tester The Dreame L10s Ultra is a safe bet in that price range, the pro version adds heated water cleaning and hot air drying which can lower the risk of a smelly mop. You can also upgrade it with the Tri-Cut brush, which claims to cut hair. Thankfully, the rubber brush is fairly easy to clean and takes no more than 2-3 minutes.

r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Check Rtings and the other reviewers I listed, they are pretty good resources. It really is hard to pick a robo vac especially out of the Roborock and Dreame offerings since they have so many Variants and Sub-Variants that it can make your head spin. Only the MaxV and Master variants from Roborock have camera based object avoidance, it seems like almost all the vacuums from Dreame from the L10s and above have camera based object avoidance. Right now the L10S Ultra is at a really good price of like $400 and based on the reviews I have seen its got basically the same features as the Eufy X10 with probably slightly worse object avoidance, but based on Rtings's review, it will actually be able to clean your hard floors unlike the X10. For me object avoidance was a key feature which is what really pushed me towards the X10 and at the time it really was the best at object avoidance. However now, with the new Roborock and dreame models, they are scoring just as good now albeit they are more expensive. It really is a bummer because the Eufy X10 on paper is an amazing value for the money, if only it actually could perform on hard floors. I hope Eufy does something to update this vacuum other than releasing the X11 eventually.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Yeah well out of the price range. I believe the E30 ultra is equivalent to the Dreame l10S. It's a good performer, better suction than the Eufy X10, worse object avoidance though, equal mopping performance. I would say it's a well rounded vacuum, good at most things but not exceptional but good value for money. https://www.rtings.com/robot-vacuum/reviews/dreame/l10s-ultra I would compare the price of the l10S ultra and E30 ultra in your region. Purchase through a retailer like Amazon and avoid buying through the Mova/Dreame webstore as retailers have better return policies. There is also the Roborock Qrevo S: https://www.rtings.com/robot-vacuum/reviews/roborock/qrevo-s It has better vacuuming performance than the Dreame l10S ultra and Mova E30 but it comes at the cost of having a very primitive object avoidance system. If object avoidance doesn't matter much to you and you can keep cords and socks off the floor when you run your robot, I would get the QRevo S for its cleaning performance.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours L10s has a camera for obstacle avoidance while the QRevo has better vacuum performance. If I could purchase something to replace my x10, I would try the QRevo S and see how it handles the obstacles in my house. The QRevo still has obstacle avoidance but it's structured light based instead of camera based so it may not work as well as the camera systems. The l10S first gen is on sale right now on Amazon for like $400 which is a great value. It basically has the same feature set as the x10.
r/RobotVacuums · Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours Dreame L10S Ultra first generation is on sale for like $400 on Amazon right now. I would say that is pretty much equal in features with the X10 and it scores better in Rtings testing versues the X10. The L10S Ultra 2nd Gen is also on sale and I think its the same price as the X10 right now. The RoboRock Qrevo S is also a good contender with even better cleaning performance than the L10s Ultra Gen 1 but the Qrevo S lacks a camera so its object avoidance may not be as good but still good enough for most people. Can't speak to the performance of the L10s ultra gen 2 but it has some good updates over the first generation like hot water mop washing.

r/RobotVacuums · Advice please. Roborock Q8 MAX+, or the Dreame L10s Ultra? I think that Dreame’s self cleaning mop tray design is ingenious. It works like this: When the mops undergo the cleaning cycle, it rotates in the opposite direction to the direction that it goes when mopping. So if the left mop goes counterclockwise when mopping normally, it’ll rotate clockwise when cleaning the mop. The friction of the mops rotating drives the self cleaning tray’s rubber gear that in turn rotates the wipers with rubber scrapers around and around the dock’s base. This means that the wipers will scrape any dust, debris, fur, and hair into the discharge area for it to be pumped into the dirty water tank. Do get the mop tray with the filter screen that has many small holes instead of a few medium sized holes. I recommend putting rubber studs meant for chairs under the main part of the base station (not the ramp part) to angle the base station ever so slightly so water can drain better, mitigating mold growth. To install: You simply remove the mop tray that came with the machine and replace it with the self cleaning mop tray in the same manner you removed it. About the TriCut brush, there are sellers on AliExpress reselling the official one at a much lower cost. As it costs 359RMB on Dreame’s official Taobao storefront and most sellers would sell their consumables for less since they bulk buy it for a discount, I recommend AliExpress, Taobao, and pinduoduo for consumables. Choose the most suitable shopping platform for your region. You can ask the seller for proof of whether or not they’re official. Hope this helped you! Again, just let me know if you need anything 💖💖💖
r/RobotVacuums · Advice please. Roborock Q8 MAX+, or the Dreame L10s Ultra? So glad I could help! With the self cleaning mop tray, I found that I’d only have to clean the robot and the tray area about once a week as opposed to twice a week. The TriCut brush really works as well, I’ve genuinely never seen it tangled on my long haired corgi’s fur but I’ve only seen it get tangled up by a plastic curling ribbon for ribbons only because it was too thick for it to enter the slit where the cutting happens. If you need more help or advice, don’t hesitate to reply~
r/RobotVacuums · Advice please. Roborock Q8 MAX+, or the Dreame L10s Ultra? The Dreame 10s Ultra by far as long as it’s not cleaning in the dark. Make sure you buy from a seller with good After sales service (AS). I’ve heard Dreame’s international AS and customer service is less than stellar so most people decide Costco/amazon/allstate has better insurance and customer service. You can also outfit the L10SU with the self-cleaning tray and the TriCut brush to prevent your golden retriever’s shedded fur from tangling (all available on AliExpress). You can also add pet safe detergent and a silver ion module to the clean water tank for cleaner cleans and a microorganism free clean water tank. For the used water tank, I recommend buying Dreame’s disinfection and deodorizing module from AliExpress to put in there. Totally eliminates any musky smell. I don’t recommend the roborock as its mopping is worse than Dreame’s (you seemed interested in robovacs with great mopping so that’s why I recommended the Dreame).
r/RobotVacuums · Upgrade time, Xiaomi x20+ VS Dreame L10s Ultra, or...? The dreame L10s Ultra. Its internal water tank means it’ll go less often to the dock to rewet mops, unlike the X20+ which lacks an internal water tank. This means you’ll have to refill the clean water tank less often than the X20+. I think it would be available for cheaper if you can get an officially refurbished model from an authorized retailer. Dreame’s RGB camera makes it better at obstacle avoidance, if it has good lighting. I think the Dreame also be compatible with the self cleaning mop tray. Hot air drying is really good at preventing mildew on the mop pads.

r/Dreame_Tech · Anyone still using the Dreame L10s Ultra? I have been using my L10s Ultra for 2.5 years. 31545M2, 63786min, 721 times. A week ago, I got an error that the water kit grey tank couldn’t empty. I checked and flushed the waste hose and eventually got the water out. I tried the Automatic water test but it failed and said it didn’t detect the water kit. I removed the water kit and it works with the clean and grey water tanks. The distributor advised I get a new water kit as it was out of warranty. Anyone else experienced this or managed to fix. Much thanks.

r/Dreame_Tech · Anyone still using the Dreame L10s Ultra? Yes still have it since dec 2022 and its going strong. Had to replace swivel wheel and waterpump in robot. Other then that running well. Unfortunatley when the pump got replaced also the history got removed. But i think ik was over 40k m2 total. It usually runs like 3 times a day, we have a dog (40kg lab) who is in the forest daily so brings in lots of dirt and hair in the house. Was my first robotvac and it really made a big impact, no more hand vacuuming daily and also 2nd and 3rd floor are more clean because less hair to stick to your socks and bring upstairs. I now also have an x50 on the 2nd floor.

Took a long time to get maps and timing correct. I mop manually separately from vacuuming, which occurs on a schedule every week day. Mop pads removed unless needed. I have been using a small amount of Bissell Hard Floor SANITIZE FORMULA. In both tanks. All good. Loud. My family hates it. I love it. 288943 sq ft so far. 34276 minutes.

r/Dreame_Tech · Anyone still using the Dreame L10s Ultra? Honestly the L10s Ultra deserves its reputation. It was kind of the “sweet spot” generation where Dreame got the fundamentals really right: strong navigation, reliable auto-empty, solid dock design, good obstacle avoidance, and fewer overcomplicated moving parts compared to some newer models. A lot of people upgraded after it and realized the day-to-day cleaning result honestly wasn’t massively different. You can also tell the dock engineering on the L10s was weirdly solid. Even now, people still complain that some newer docks don’t auto-empty as aggressively or clean themselves as reliably. If yours survived 3 years with only monthly maintenance and \~9,000m²+ cleaned, that’s actually a pretty impressive long-term reliability run for a robot vac. Definitely one of Dreame’s GOAT-tier models.
r/Dreame_Tech · My Dreame Aqua 10 Ultra Track Nightmare If you haven’t tried it yet, a full fresh map (after a power-off reset for both robot + dock) usually gives a big improvement. The drops of water are normal until the tank valve breaks in, but the navigation issues definitely aren’t. This is the kind of thing Dreame normally fixes with OTA updates once they gather enough logs. If the new map doesn’t settle down after a couple runs, you’re not crazy — the L10s and L40 both run tighter and more confidently right now. I’d keep pushing support with screenshots like the one you posted so they can flag it to the dev team.

r/ecovacs · Review of Ecovacs DEEBOT mini I did, it is overall better tbh but few points: - I did not want camera, no pets so don't need it - I got mini for 34k (after bank discount), n30 pro after bank discount was 50k so not really worth it - Mini is smaller so goes inbetween chair legs for me Also checkout dreame l10s ultra, same price as mini but more features (with same drawbacks atleast for me - camera, large size, lower suction).

r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations from a Robot Tester I’d be ok with low battery life if it went back to charge like our old roomba does (moved upstairs as its good on carpet). But it still thinks it has 40% and then dies in the middle of the hall. anyway they’ll replace the battery under warranty probably so not too bad.
r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations from a Robot Tester Thanks for the info. We actually reduced how often ours mops to avoid too much moisture on wooden floors. We now do that twice a week and in between we do vac only runs. Have an L10s ultra which just went back for repair as the battery was dying mid run after just less than 2 years. Not the end of the world and otherwise has been reliable and looked after our ground floor well.

r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Recommendations by Price Band - These are the robots I'd buy Why no mention of the Dreame L10s Ultra? I've been watching it based on posts in this sub, and was ready to buy it at $399. Hesitant because it isn't listed in your recs.

r/RobotVacuums · Prime Day Deals Thanks for the fast response and all the great info. Been reading your reviews today. That link for the L10S ultra allows me to buy for $420. So it’s another $20 cheaper tomorrow?

r/RobotVacuums · Dreame L10S Ultra Gen 2 or Roborock QRevo L or ECOVACS Deebot T30 Omni Thank you for this. After this endorsement I’ve finally placed an order. Was meaning to go ahead with L10S Ultra, but then some hidden charges made it slightly more expensive and I went with a discounted Dreame L30 Ultra S for a little bit more than the L10. Judging by the Dreame product page it is identical to the L10S Ultra other than having 13kPa. Fingers crossed it works well for me too. Thank you All.

r/RobotVacuums · Honest Dreame X50 Ultra (Pro) review - tl;dr included Thanks for the comprehensive review. I have an L10S Ultra that I adore. I bought it refurbished directly from Dreame, and I just haven't seen any features that would compel me to upgrade....yet.

r/RobotVacuums · Upgrade time, Xiaomi x20+ VS Dreame L10s Ultra, or...? Mopping is few centimeters from the wall. Not dealbreaker for me, might be for othersz

r/RobotVacuums · Upgrade time, Xiaomi x20+ VS Dreame L10s Ultra, or...? Get the Dreame, as the internal water tank and mop drying feature will make your day to day experience with your robot vacuum much more enjoyable. Also I believe Xaomi owns a percentage of Dreame brand, so many parts on vacuums themselves might be even be identical/shared.

r/homeassistant · What's the best robot vacuum for home currently? I just returned a Dreame L10s ultra after less than a month due to catastrophic failure and poor support, so I'd avoid them. I previously used iRobot (and still do on the second floor) and am going back to them once my refund is processed.

r/homeassistant · What's the best robot vacuum for home currently? Yep, with hardwood flooring the mop feature makes sense. I have laminated floors and mopping is easy and really good hygienically to reduce dust amounts.
